Scratchboard Animal Advocacy Advertisement
Objectives:
Create a piece of art in support of animal advocacy (to support a cause)
Procedures: Select a theme of: adoption, care, animal rescue, animal rights, or other favorable situation for an animal.
Create a composite using reference photos, however the picture must be original.
Select additional photos to use for the background.
The background must be taken into consideration; you must place the animal in a natural habitat, though it can
be minimal—just enough to give a natural habitat context for the animal.
Media:
Pencil, eraser, drawing paper, tracing paper, scratchboard, scratch tools
Evaluation/closure:
The scratchboard will be evaluated on the originality and composition of the design. It will be evaluated on the
proper use of the Elements and Principles of Design, the craftsmanship, and the aesthetic merit.

This is an organization no longer in operation but they have
a nicely designed logo and you could still use the name.
