National Library Week is April 11 to 16, with the theme,
"Create your own story @ your library." First observed in
1958, National Library Week is a national observance
sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and
libraries across the country each April. It is a time to celebrate
the contributions of our nation's libraries and librarians and to
promote library use and support. All types of libraries - school,
public, academic and special - participate. Did you know
there are more libraries in the U.S. than there are McDonald’s
restaurants?
Take a look at all our special events for National Library Week
and plan to attend as many as you can. Our programs will
help you plant your spring garden and get organized. Come
and relax at our film, The Blind Side, on Saturday, April 16.
Also during National Library Week, you will receive a small gift
at the Circulation Desk when you check out our materials!

RESULTS COMING SOON
Thank you for providing your feedback
through our Patron Satisfaction
Survey.
Your answers will help us mold great
new initiatives for the Library based
on what you value and what you
envision for the Library’s future!
The results of the survey will be
posted on our website in April.
