Salama Fire Safety Training
Dubai, UAE – Emirates Driving Institute
(EDI), UAE’s oldest and largest driving
school, today announced a strategic
partnership agreement with Al Salama
Fire Safety Training L.L.C, the UAE’s
leading and largest fire safety training
company. Through this partnership, Al
EDI partners with Al Salama Fire Safety Training
Salama will utilize EDI facilities and
premises to deliver Fire Safety and First
Aid Training, approved and accredited by the Dubai Civil Defence, in accordance with UAE Council of
Ministers Resolution No. (24) for the year 2012 (Federal Law No. 505) and the Dubai Civil Defence
strategic vision.
Mr. Amer Belhasa, Managing Director, Emirates Driving Institute & Ms. Mania Hossaini, Managing
Director, Al Salama signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations, together
initiating the largest and most widespread fire safety training program accredited by Dubai Civil
Defence. With the establishment of three partner training facilities across the Emirate of Dubai, in Al
Quoz, Al Qusais and Port Rashid, safety training services provided by EDI and Al Salama will
additionally include driver training, driver road risk reduction, and Highfield Approved First Aid
training. Al Salama will also provide fire safety and first-aid training to EDI staff.
In a joint press statement Mr. Amer Belhasa stated, “EDI has always been a socially responsible
organization that has worked relentlessly in spreading safety messages related to driving and
children’s safety, to communities for over a decade. Since EDI has a people centric outlook and cares
for people and their safety, this partnership will be fruitful, as communities at large will benefit from the
fire safety and first aid training conducted by Al Salama.”
This partnership addresses the increasing demand for fire safety training services, in accordance with
Federal Law No. 505, which now requires all employers to provide adequate training in fire awareness
to members of their staff. Hossaini affirmed, “Together with EDI, we stand firmly behind the UAE’s
Vision 2021, to fulfill this requirement, and make the UAE the safest country in the world.”
