We would like to cordially invite you to participate in our annual Scholarship Awards Dinner & Silent Auction on February 16th,
2016. This year’s dinner will be hosted at Ouisies Table. The proceeds will be used to provide scholarships to students with
career aspirations within our hospitality industry.
NEWH is a not-for-profit organization and the premier networking resource for the hospitality industry - providing scholarship,
education, leadership development, and recognition of excellence and business development opportunities. The scholarships
given out by NEWH are funded by tax-deductible contributions made by individuals, companies and organizations.
Here’s how you can help the 2016 Scholarship Dinner to be another year marked for success:
1. Please consider contributing an item to the silent auction. You, your employer, or both can donate an item. Examples of
auction items: gift baskets, wine, holiday items, food items, gift certificates, electronic equipment artwork, jewelry, furniture,
accessories and books. I have enclosed a donation form for you to complete.
2. Mark your calendar now and plan to attend the event on February 16th. The auction will be held in conjunction with our Annual
Scholarship Awards Dinner. We encourage you to come enjoy the event, network and support this worthy cause.
3. Consider becoming an Event Underwriter. Three different levels are available for purchase and include benefits as well as
advertising opportunities. See the attached Underwriting Levels & Benefits form for details.
