Cutting Directions
From Acorn–C6896 Lime:
• Cut eight 61 ⁄2" x width of fabric (WOF) strips. Piece the
strips together to make two 61 ⁄2" x 631 ⁄2" strips and two
61 ⁄2" x 601 ⁄4" strips for the outer border.
• See instructions to cut twenty-four large circles.(Flower Centers)
From Acorn–C6898 Pink:
• Cut six 25 ⁄8" x WOF strips. (Fabric A)
• See instructions to fussy cut twenty-four small circles.
(Daisy Centers)
From Acorn–C6897 Honeydew:
• Cut twelve 25 ⁄8" x WOF strips. (Fabric B)
• See instructions to cut ninety-six leaves.
From Acorn–C6901 White:
• Cut six 25 ⁄8" x WOF strips. (Fabric C)
• See instructions to cut twenty-four daisies.
From Stripe–C6900 Pink:
• Cut seven 11 ⁄2" x WOF strips. Piece the strips together to
make two 11⁄2" x 611⁄2" strips and two 11⁄2" x 481⁄4" strips.

• Cut seven 21 ⁄2" x WOF strips for the binding.
From Acorn–C6899 Pink:
• See instructions to cut twenty-four flowers.
From Acorn–C6899 Aqua:
• Cut six 9" x WOF strips. Sub-cut the strips into twenty-four

From Acorn–C6897 Pink:
• Cut two 68" x WOF strips. Piece the strips together to make
one 68" x 83" piece for the backing.

Assembly Instructions:
Blocks
1. To make one strip set, refer to
figure 1 for strip order and sew
together one Acorn–C6898 Pink
strip (Fabric A), two Acorn–C6897
Honeydew strips (Fabric B) and
one Acorn–C6901 White (Fabric C)
along their WOF edges. Repeat to make six
9" x WOF strip sets.
2. Cut the 9" strip sets into twenty-four 9"
squares. (figure 2)
3. Place one 9" strip set square on top of a
9" Acorn–C6899 Aqua square, right sides
together. Make sure the Fabric A strip is on

5. Refer to figure 6 and trim each block along the long strip
side and across the adjacent Aqua edge on the block to
measure 81⁄8" square. You must trim ONLY ALONG THESE
TWO SIDES to make the blocks fit together when you
assemble them into the quilt top.
Appliqués
6. Follow the fusible web manufacturer’s instructions and
trace twenty-four of each flower, ninety-six leaves and
twenty-four large circle templates onto the paper side of
the fusible web. Roughly cut out each shape about 1/8"
outside of the drawn lines.
7. Press each flower, daisy and leaf template onto the back
side of the listed fabrics. Press each large circle template
in the center of a printed motif on Acorn–C6896 Lime.
8. Cut out each template on the drawn lines.
9. Press fusible web to the
back side of Acorn–C6898

Block Assembly
12. Refer to the quilt photo for block placement and assemble eight blocks together into VERTICAL rows.Assembling the vertical rows first will make it easier to line up
the strips on the blocks. Make six vertical rows.
13. Sew the six vertical rows together to make the 461 ⁄4"
x 611 ⁄2" quilt top.
Borders
14. Sew one 11 ⁄2" x 611 ⁄2" Stripe–C6900 Pink strip to each
side of the quilt top. Sew one 11 ⁄2" x 481 ⁄4" Acorn strip to
the top and bottom of the quilt top.
15. Sew one 61 ⁄2" x 631 ⁄2" Acorn–C6896 Lime to each side
of the quilt top. Sew one 61 ⁄2" x 601 ⁄4" Acorn–C6896 Lime
strip to the top and bottom of the quilt top.
Flower
Trace Twenty-four
Acorn–C6899 Pink
Finishing
16. Layer the quilt top, batting and backing and baste. Quilt
as you prefer.
17. Sew the seven 21 ⁄2" x WOF Stripe–C6900 Pink strips
together end-to-end with 45º seams to make the binding.
Fold this long strip in half lengthwise with wrong sides
together.
18. Pin the binding to the front of the quilt, matching raw
edges and mitering around the corners. Stitch the binding
to the quilt.
19. Fold the binding over the raw edges to the back of the
quilt and hand stitch in place.
