From XS to XXL
Whether it’s a gasket, a crankshaft, or a propeller –
Ship Parts Logistics delivers whatever you need –
nothing’s too big or too small.
A case in point: We transported a ship’s propeller shaft over 14 metres in length, one and half
metres in height, and weighing almost 19 tonnes
from Sweden to South Korea. An XXL undertaking.
First, it travelled to Frankfurt Airport on a truck
specially designed for oversize loads. There, it
was packed and crated in line with the customer’s
technical drawings, and in close collaboration with
Airline staff, in preparation for loading onto the
Freight Plane.
The following morning, the extra-large airfreight
landed at Incheon airport and was taken to the
dockyard. At the same time, spare parts were
delivered from a number of countries. The customer was kept up to speed on the status of project
progress at all times, including the status of the
spare parts, – thanks to ‘Logwin Boat’ software.
