Greetings
Greetings and welcome to
our ESG concert season! Our
2015-2016 series includes
some of Canada's most gifted
musicians.
We begin our season with
the 'Elmer Iseler Singers',
under the direction of Lydia
Adams, performing 'Songs of Thanksgiving' with the
sensational 'Trillium Brass'. This exciting concert
will highlight selections from Glick's 'Triumph of
the Spirit' and 'The Hour has Come'. Copland's
monumental 'In the Beginning' will also be presented
with other works by Whitacre, Somers and more.
The 'Amadeus Choir of Toronto', under the direction
of Lydia Adams, will be showcased in our second
concert. 'Luminosity' will share music of Light with
Lauridsen's 'Lux Aeterna', Whitbourn's 'Luminosity'
and 'Stars' by Eriks Esenvalds.
'A Rhapsody of Christmas' will feature our own ESG
Choir who will once again team up with the Trillium
Brass Ensemble of Toronto to create a very exciting
and memorable afternoon of Carols, Choir and Brass.
Concert Series
Our final concert, 'Mary Lou Fallis and Peter
Tiefenbach Return to Church' will be an afternoon of
laughter, fun and inspiration as the ESG choir joins
up with this dynamic duo in a hilarious performance
of Primadonna Choralis.
Please don't miss this exciting season as we bring
together some of Canada's top musicians and choral
groups.
