on their name tags.

Materials:
Script reproducible, any dress-up items/props
Instructions:
• Make copies of the scripts from The Rugrats Movie (on back of poster) so every child gets one.
• Have props handy (if available). Suggested items: (feather boa, pirate hats, flags, eyepatches,
purple hair bows, pacifier, baby bottle, rattle, sippy cup)
• There are two ways to do this (try both!):
#1: Assign everyone a character and have each child act out their character’s lines (this option is good
for small groups).
#2: Have everyone read a line regardless of what character it is (this is a lot sillier and is good for a
large group).
• Encourage kids to add their own sound effects.
• Note: Kids can enter to win a voiceover part in Rugrats in Paris: The Movie in the following books:
Angelica the Grape, A Day in the Life of Angelica, and Surprise, Angelica! This activity is not related to
that sweepstakes. The sweepstakes winner will be chosen at random and not based on acting ability. See
books listed above for official rules.
Materials:
Instructions:
• Make copies of the postcard, doorhanger, and bookplate templates (found on the back of the poster).
• Hand out the postcard templates.
• Have the children color and draw their own adventure on the postcard.
• Let the children paste the front and back of the postcard together.
• Hand out the doorhanger and bookplate templates.
• Suggest that the child glue the bookplate into his or her favorite book.
Note: At the end of the event, you can display kids’ artwork in your store, suggest that kids send their postcard
to a friend, or have them self-address the postcard and then send it out — kids will get a kick out of getting mail!
Be a self-promoter! Before you send the postcards to the kids, add a label to it that reads, “Thanks for
coming to the Rugrats party. Hope to see you again in the . . . store soon!”
Materials:
Instructions:
• Make copies of the cartoon flip book template.
• Cut out the pages of the books (or kids can do this at home).
• Fold the pages in the middle and staple together.
• Have kids draw their own Rugrats adventure.
• Kids can tell their story to the group when they’re finished — if they want!

Lil: Well, she’s a girl, like me, so we know she’ll be prettyful.
Angelica: Oh, brother! You dumb babies got a lot to learn about the facts of lice.
Now, out of my way. I gotta get back to the dessert table before
the growed-ups get all the good stuff.
Tommy: Angelica, can you help us find my baby sister?
Angelica: I wouldn’t be in such a big hurry if I was you, Tommy.
‘Cause when the new baby gets here, she’s gonna get all the toys and the love
and the attentions, and your mommy and daddy’ll forget all about you.
It’ll be like . . . (to Cynthia, imitating Stu) "Look, Deed, there’s that little bald kid in the

Tommy: My mommy and daddy won’t forget me.
Angelica: That’s what Spike said before you were born . . . back when his name was Paul.
