DRIVE YOUR FUTURE.
Strayer University’s Associate in Arts in Economics (AAEC) program provides the foundational knowledge and skills you need
to apply economic principles to management decisions in business and government. In today’s evolving world markets,
“reacting” to change is not enough. Analysis and sound predictions are necessary for people and organizations to stay
ahead of the curve. Explore micro- and macroeconomic theory, and learn the forces that drive the global economy. Develop
communication, critical thinking, and quantitative competencies. Strengthen your understanding of how economic, political,
and cultural forces shape the world.
Coursework enables students to develop skills applicable to Market Research Analysts and Survey Researchers found in
businesses, financial institutions, insurance companies, policy institutes, and government agencies.
*Graduates of the Associate in Arts in Economics program may apply all the credits earned toward a Bachelor of Science in Economics at Strayer University.
