It is easy to see why Coventry is first choice for so many industrial/distribution decision
makers: it sits at the heart of the national transport network and has an adaptable,

Prologis has a proven track record in the West Midlands and has delivered over 2 million
sq ft of industrial/distribution space in Coventry since 2001. In 2007 Prologis acquired
the Ryton site and May 2013 saw the first completed national distribution centre,
totalling 300,000 sq ft built specifically for Network Rail. This was soon followed later
in 2013 by a 165,200 sq ft unit for LG, the global electronics giant and a 170,535 sq ft
building for Freeman, the exhibition and display specialists. At the end of 2013 UK Mail
signed up for a 186,000 sq ft parcel hub and a 30,000 sq ft headquarters office building.
Prologis has two remaining plots at Ryton, DC 1 and DC 7 which can accommodate
buildings of 170,320 sq ft to 322,970 sq ft.

This new building is an important step
towards establishing our own distribution
network in the UK. We are working to a
tight timetable, so we began our search
by looking for an existing warehouse.
However, Prologis delivered a new facility
that suited our requirements exactly and
ready for our operational deadline.
Prologis Park Ryton was selected
following an extensive search of real
estate in the West Midlands area. We
have worked closely with Prologis to
design a state-of-the-art facility that will
support our business growth and help
us maintain our position as the leading
parcel carrier in the UK.
