Under Class settings, click edit button (top right of box), then be sure
to set comments to Yes and be sure to click the Save button (looks like
a floppy disk and will be in same place as the edit button shown below.

Use Safari to do discussions with students - cannot access that feature
through the app (as of version 3.1.1 dated September 29, 2014)
Many students are not aware that they can access eBackpack through
Safari — they think if the app isn’t working then they can’t get into
content on platform
May need to refresh screen to see new comments - how do we refresh?
– click round arrow at right on line where the internet address is

Page 1 of 3 How to Set Up Class Discussions 1. Click on your class. 2. Click the drop down menu above that column and choose Add Assignment. 3. Name the assignment and click Add. 4. Type your discussion item in the comment window and click Comment button to post (make it viewable by your students). Note that in eBackpack, comments are the items that make up the Assignment Discussion.
