Happiness is waking up in the morning and realizing I'd come to work just for the
sheer joy of it. Even so, it sure is nice to get compliments on jobs well done. We
appreciate the many heartfelt words of thanks we receive from you, our wonderful
customers-nothing means more to us than knowing we have exceeded your
expectations!
In addition, I'd also like to share with you a few honors we have earned this year:
I was one of the featured designers in the 2013 Designers Studio
at the Philadelphia Flower Show. We just found out that our work
won a GOLD Pinnacle Award from the International Festival and
Events Association. We were in competition with festivals from
around the world, including Korea, Australia, Germany and
Brazil. I'm thrilled, and happy to have been asked to participate
again in March of 2014-stay tuned!
Abloom won top honors from Florists' Review for Best Cake
Décor in their most recent "Picture Perfect" contest!
In another nod from Florists' Review, we were delighted when
one of our weddings was featured in the September issue!

Dear Friends,
As I sit down to write this, I realize that
Christmas is now less than 3 months away.
This is the time we typically start gearing up for
our Holiday Open House in November, but this year,
we're doing things a little differently.
We're going to take a year off from our traditional
in-store Open House, and focus on offering you more
special products and deals in other ways. Check us out
on Facebook-you'll find lots of photos of our new
arrivals as we dress the store for Christmas. We'll also
have additional merchandise and a few surprises to
offer-- along with some sensational flowers!
Not on Facebook? Even better-stop by often! We love
seeing you, and we'll make sure you don't miss a
single thing!
As fall is upon us and winter approaches, I always get
reflective. This year,I find myself thinking of what a
great year it's been. A big birthday for me, and more
opportunities than ever to take care of your flower
needs-in good times, and sad times, too. Let me tell
you from the bottom of my heart that it has been a
privilege. Your confidence means the world to us.
