The Shoe Project is a collection of shoes illustrating the
journeys faced by domestic violence and sexual assault
survivors. These shoes show a physical representation of
the women, men, and children who are victims of domestic
violence or sexual assault. This has become a critical
public health problem that is too often kept as a dark secret
that needs to be brought into the light.
