Irish kitchen in Cork

SCHIRL/PARIS
The fresh green colour of the Irish countryside is an unforgettable experience
for everyone who sees it. The deliberate
usage of this colour can capture the
atmosphere in a room. The green colour
in the kitchen is reminiscent of the
green fields and herbs of Ireland.
Strong design
In the penthouse of an international professional footballer a gas fireplace was
constructed according to a Scottish
design. Stucco decoration in combination with alcoves creates an exciting
atmosphere. The white colour supports
the play of light and shadow.

Old made new

In order to highlight the Gobelin tapestry
in the stairwell, the stucco was
draperied in restrained old rose colour.
The hue of the paint is in tune with the
colours used in the tapestry.

Fin de siècle
The stucco in the large entrance area
of this beautiful fin de siècle building in
the first district of Vienna was renovated and gold embossed according to
the regulations of the conservation
authorities.

Big spaces
In this Viennese penthouse the interior
design was combined with the owner’s
love for detail. Stucco mouldings – partially rounded – harmoniously complement the overall picture.

Original undertakings
The world famous majolica building of
Otto Wagner has been declared a
listed conservation building. The green
railings were totally rusty; consequently the surface coats had to be renewed.
A new coat in the original green colour
from the time of Otto Wagner preserved
the original character of this Art
Nouveau jewel.
Flagship store
MAN 03
Chervò is a prominent global manufacturer of golfing and sportswear. The
exterior façades of the stores in Vienna,
Stuttgart and Berlin were immersed in
the original green colour of the Chervò
brand.
Offices and medical practices
MAN 04
Besides refurbishing the walls and floors the entire
office was painted in white and the old Viennese
double doors received a coat of stylish smooth
matt white varnish.
Fancy details
MAN 05
To highlight the details the stair-rail was
coated in white paint.

First Viennese Spirits Museum
The entire historical façade was refurbished according to its original design; its
yellow Schönbrunn paint combined with white paint accentuate the stucco and
ornamentation.

Staging a remarkable effect
The façade of this building was inspired by a picture of a three-hundred year old
Tuscan villa. The owner, an opera director, wanted his home to have a particularly
individual style. Therefore a special glazing was developed for the exterior coat,
which with a new technique was applied to the rough façade. Using a spatula technique, the paint was manually applied to the walls and afterwards covered with
the glazing. The selected colour hue perfectly emphasises the antique charm of the
building.

Vienna Town Hall
Electrical wiring ducts (approx. 300 m)
had to be cut with extraordinary care
into the beautifully painted ceilings of
some halls. Afterwards the openings
were carefully sealed. For this purpose
a plaster was created according to a
historical recipe, which allowed restoring of the original painting.

Detail of a courtyard entrance in Vienna’s
Gumpendorfer Straße
Over the past decades, the original appearance of the entrance has been totally
destroyed and become decrepit. After challenging research work, the entrance
was restored true to original.

Old Viennese style
Company green
The courtyard entrance to this fin de siècle building was designed with great love
of detail according to the colours chosen
by the customer. Its colours were refined
and its appearance embellished with gold.
The lower ceilings and pillars were
highlighted with the original green colour
of the Chervò brand, and perfectly reflect
the corporate identity of the company.

Under the stars
Star ceilings with varying electric light spots have become increasingly popular.
The carefully chosen blue colour of the sky accentuates the atmosphere and the
dome as though it were actually floating.

Stucco Lustro
MSL 01
Marmoresque
Polished marble stucco was applied in
several layers and gave the walls an
exceptionally noble appearance
resembling that of marble.

Colour in the bathroom
All walls in the bathroom were designed in Stucco Lustro technique, which is
well suited for wellness areas.

Hand painted frescoes
The fresco at the Andechser Bräu
restaurant in Munich was created in
cooperation with the renowned painter Rainer Maria Latzke. It was painted
freehand on canvass in the artist’s

Mystical painting
MIL 06
An Asian lakeland hiding hundreds of
mystical stories was painted in a bedroom in soft, calming colours.
Moving mountains
A historical South Tyrol wooden sauna
was re-built in Bratislava. A trompe-l’oeil
painting of the mountains of South Tyrol
perfectly complements the atmosphere.
