Set to be a high-profile symbol of 21st-century architecture, Plus Towers, the two-tower, 14-storey project, has shops on the first two levels and luxurious
living accommodation above.

he Plus Properties iconic project in Martyrs’ Square, the heart of the rebirth
of the Beirut Central District, has engaged some of the world’s foremost
contemporary talents in architecture and building design – structural,
exterior and interior. The project has been designed by Bernardo Fort-Brescia,
founder of Arquitectonica Miami. Consulting engineers are Erga Group.
Pioneering Lebanese interior designer Dori Hitti will be bringing his inimitable
touch to the project’s interior. In addition to offering its residents the utmost
in refined living, Plus Towers also represents an important part of the Central
Beirut District’s overall rebirth, overseen by master developer Solidere, which
has transformed Downtown Beirut into a vibrant contemporary haven. ■

ARCHEOLOGICAL
WORK FINISHES
With its strategic location in central Beirut, the plots of Plus Towers required
extensive archeological work that spanned over several months.
Dr. Assaad Seif, coordinator of archeological research and excavations in
Lebanon, at the Directorate General of Antiquities in Beirut, said: “Archeological
excavation is a normal procedure that all under construction projects should
abide by. The Ministry of Culture deals with this through the Directorate of
Archeology which is mandated to preserve the heritage. Concrete construction
cannot begin without the green light of the directorate.”
For months, a team from the Directorate of Antiquities worked meticulously to
excavate and catalogue methodically the discoveries that will eventually take
their place in the National Museum.
Dr Seif, mentioned that Plus Towers developers now have the rights to use any
of the excavated artifacts in the building lobbies that will become “Museum
Lobbies”.

Stat, it had remained the only form not to be measured. Considering that this form of advertising is on the rise,
the launch of a measurement service means that vital information will now be made available, thus increasing
