Let truth Shine!

From Rector’s Desk:
Dear Friends,
We are in the Holy Week. Very soon we will be celebrating the feast of Easter, it reminds
us of the new life brought to us by Jesus. Does it mean anything to us? Our Holy Father Pope Francis tells us: “Let
us not be closed to the newness that God wants to bring into our lives! Are we often weary, disheartened and sad?
Do we feel weighed down by our sins? Do we think that we won’t be able to cope? Let us not close our hearts,
let us not lose our confidence, let us never give up: there are no situations which God cannot change, there is no
sin which He cannot forgive if only we open ourselves to Him.” Let the risen Jesus enter into our lives. Happy
Easter to one and all!!!
Called
to
Love & Serve
17th February 2015 was a day of blessing for
Tejas Vidya Peetha and the Church at large
as five of our brothers received the order of
diaconate for the service of the church. Dns.
Josemon John Kochuputhanpurayil, Joseph
Ouseparambil, Nirmal Jose Pulikkalath, S.
Innacimuthu and Jose Thottukadavil feel
indebted to God Almighty and the
congregation for this beautiful day in their
lives. Most Rev. Dr Lawrance Pius, the
Bishop of Dharmapuri, presided over the Eucharistic celebration which began at 6.00 P.M, and ordained the Deacons
for the mission of the church. The brothers took the theme, “Called to Love and Serve” for the Eucharistic celebration
and for further reflection. The day was blessed with the presence of Rev.Fr. Jose Kumblolickal, the Provincial of S-WI
Province and our confreres from different communities.
The presence of fathers and sisters from various religious
congregations and parishes made the day more colourful.
The campus decoration reflected the joyful mood. The
celebration ended with felicitating the newly ordained
deacons and with a sumptuous meal thereafter. We
sincerely thank all those who participated in the
celebration and supported us through their prayers.
