President’s Message
Ray Baker
President
As another successful year of
curling at our club draws to a
close, we celebrate the many
accomplishments of our
members. 2014-15 was a
great year for our members!
On behalf of the Dauphin Curling Club, I would like to thank the many
members who volunteer their time to make the DCC a better
organization. We are striving to improve the atmosphere of the
Club, and hope for continued improvements.
2014-15 was not only a great year on the ice for our curlers, but the
DCC has exciting plans in place for next season. The failed Sin City
Bonspiel will make a come-back, November 27-30. December 11-13
will see us host the MCT Championship. January and February will be
filled with fun bonspiels. And March is host to the men’s and ladies
bonspiels, as well as the first ever Championship Weekend!
The success of this Club is as ever, dependent on our members. We
hope you will come out and support our efforts. See you on the ice!

in Dauphin on the weekend of December 11-13, 2015.
The Manitoba Curling Tour Championships presented by Manitoba
Liquor & Lotteries will feature 16 men’s teams and a dozen women’s
teams playing triple-knockout bonspiel format competitions. The
invitation list is based on the season’s team rankings developed over the
MCT season involving cash bonspiels across the province as well as
CurlManitoba’s competitive qualifying events.
The championships represent the final event of the MCT season. The
winner, or highest finishing eligible team, in each of the men’s and
women’s events will earn an invitation to compete in CurlManitoba’s
provincial championships. The highest ranking teams, after the
championships, will also earn provincial championship invitations.
