The Band Played On– Mrs. Henrichs
Congratulations to the Band, Jazz Band & Chorus on a fine performance last
night. I really enjoy hearing & seeing what develops from all our hard work
throughout the school year. You should be very proud!
The 4th grade through 7th grade band students will play at graduation on
Tuesday, May 18th. We will practice on Tuesday during school. All students must
be in their seats with instruments by 6:30p.m. on the 18th. We will also have the
token party at 1:30 on the 18th. Any parent that is available is welcome to come
help. The Summer Band Schedule went home today (Friday). Please send a note if
your child has to miss any rehearsal or parade for a vacation or a camp.
Congratulations to Derek and Hunter for
receiving a silver at the State Science
Competition this past weekend!
Be sure to thank Carolyn for all
her wonderful meals over the
years...we’ll miss you!!!!!

The Athletic Banquet was held on Tuesday, May 11th. The food was absolutely delicious.
Congratulations to all the award winners and also the non-award winners. Hopefully, everyone
had a great time. PLEASE bring the red polo shirts back to school ASAP. I made the decision to
let the team wear them after they were “put away” and I hope I don’t have to “track them down”
again.
Open Gym Schedule: June 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 15th, 16th, 17th, 29th, 30th. 8:00 am to 9:45 am (Open
Gym is not mandatory, but highly recommended.)
