INVITATION
You are invited to compete in the 2008 Silver Dollar Chain
Shoots. Join your friends for the winter season at the most
beautiful shooting facility in the Southeast. Our state of the art
shooting facility includes a clubhouse (11,000 square feet), a
large lunch area and a Shotgun Pro-Shop. In addition to our
twenty-six regulation A.T.A. trap fields, we offer skeet and five
stand sporting clays for your shooting pleasure. Ample
automobile and recreational vehicle parking spaces are available
to our guests. We have a challenging twenty-seven (27) hole
golf course, electric carts, golf clubhouse (12,000 square feet)
and a Golf Pro-Shop for your golfing pleasure.
As a service to our trapshooters, our clubhouse will be open on
Monday March 1 - 9:00 A.M. for classification, squadding,
practice and we will have a 300 target registered program. (100
SGL’s, 100 Handicap, 50 Pair DBL’s). $26.00 per 100 plus fee’s.

-Tournament Rules1. A.T.A. Rules will govern this tournament and all scores will
be included in the official A.T.A. records. By entering the
tournament events, all shooters agree to accept official decisions
and abide by the rules! Violating A.T.A. Safety Rules may be
cause for disqualification and removal from the grounds!
2. The management reserves the absolute right, in its sound
discretion, at any time prior to or during the tournament, to
change or modify the program in any manner desired, including,
but not limited to the starting time, order of events, entry fees,
purses and options. Purses and options are not compulsory!
3. All trapshooters must provide their paid up A.T.A. Average
Card with all scores posted and averaged prior to being
classified. Your previous and current averages will determine
your proper class for singles and doubles, as follows:

4. Shooters with less than six hundred (600) Singles in the
current and previous two years must shoot in Class A or higher
unless they shoot “Targets Only”. Shooters with less than six
hundred (600) Doubles in the current and previous two years
must shoot in Class B or higher, unless they shoot “Targets
Only”. Shooters with less than six hundred (600) Handicap
targets in the current and previous two years must shoot on
Twenty-Three (23) Yards or higher, unless they shoot “Targets
Only”. When you are classified for “Targets Only”, you cannot
play purses or options and you will not be eligible for trophies!
registered A.T.A. targets shot during Preliminary Events may be
used to achieve minimum target requirements, but the burden is
on each shooter to report for reclassification.
5. Special A.T.A. Categories: All Ladies, Sub-Juniors (up to 14
years old), Juniors (15 to 17 years old), Veterans (65 to 69 years
old) and Senior Veterans (70 years and up) must declare their
special category during classification and at the time they enter
each event! Please check the score board to be sure that you
have been included in the competition for your category.
6. Ties in all Preliminary Events will carry over to the next like
event(s), except HANDICAP, which will be decided by a shoot
off, or if all shooters agree, they may flip a coin to decide the
winner! Each shooter will be called for shoot off and, if you do
not report, you will forfeit the trophy! All ties in Championship
Events will be shot off. Please report promptly when called for
a shoot off!

-Tournament Rules7. Shooters are limited to winning only one trophy per event. If
you win or tie, you will be moved up one class for the Singles
or Doubles Events that follow. It is your duty to report to the
classification official(s) to have your classification changed, or
to have your A.T.A. Average Card punched.
8. Any shooter, whose classification changes will be considered
notified, when their new class or yardage is posted on the
bulletin board. Shooters, please check your scores! Unclaimed
trophies will be forfeited, since we do not mail trophies!
9. In addition to the entry fee, all shooters must pay the daily
A.T.A. ($2.00) and the F.T.A. ($2.00) fees. Only U.S. currency
will be accepted! All Lewis Purses will be divided one class
each nine (9) entries, or major portion thereof (three classes
maximum) and will be paid 60/40 percentage system to each
Lewis Class (ties will divide)! Lewis class for Sunday handicap
divided 50-30-20%. All Percentage Purses will be paid
50/30/20 percentage system (ties will divide)! All Class Purses
will be paid 60/40 percentage system and each class will shoot
for it’s own money (ties will divide)! All Wolf Purses will be
paid one money to the highest score in the purse (ties will
divide)! All Yardage Group Purses will be paid 60/40 percentage system and each Yardage Group will shoot for it’s own
money. The Florida Option is a Ten Way Purse; with $1.00
charged for each 100 (1), each 75 (2), each 50 (3), each 25 (4)
and will be paid one money per division (ties will divide).
10. When less than five (5) shooters enter a purse or option,
their option money will be refunded and the purse or option will
be eliminated! Purse and option pay off sheets for all events
held on Sunday will be mailed to shooters, who choose to be
paid off by check.
11. Only regulation trap loads may be shot! Factory shells and
reloads may be used, however suspect shells will be subject to
challenge and violators will be disqualified. Please keep your
gun unloaded until you are on the line and you are absolutely
sure that it is safe to shoot!
