Economy range
The Economy range includes the machine ranges ICP, ICV, Compac, Euromod and Flatcom. The Economy machine range has been in use successfully for many years now in
sectors of industry, trade and training. The minimal space requirements, the excellent priceperformance ratio, the ease of operation and the special design are all priorities within this
range. Economy machines are frequently used when a requirement exists for smaller parts
for medium machining capacity, or where particularly economical solutions are required.
The machines are available in various sizes and can be expanded with a range of options
as required (e.g. up to 5 axes/automation).

about the Economy range:
E
Obrira - Low Vision Rathenow
With the procurement of the ICP it has been possible to replace extensive conventional
drilling and milling technology in our production. The ICP 3020 operates in just the smallest
space without complication, entirely fault-free, is low maintenance and requires minimal setup work. Thanks to the isy-CAM training in Eiterfeld, as a complete beginner we have been able
to work on a CNC-controlled system from day one. Excellent service, excellent team, super
price-performance ratio and made in Germany too.
André Schwolow, Managing Director
Keramik Institut Meißen
An FE project begins with the planning of the required devices and equipment. Within the framework of a collaborative project, KI Keramik-Institut GmbH was set to embark on the development of a ceramic rotor disc and required a CNC machine for this purpose with a particularly high degree of flexibility and expandability. We decided to opt for the EUROMOD from
imes-icore GmbH, which entirely fulfilled the very special requirements in our project.

Since January 2014 we have been successfully
using the ICV 4030 in the production of templates.
Particularly commendable is that we could start
working with this machine immediately. Machine
operators were familiar with the control after just
a short induction. It is also top class when it comes
to surface quality and repetition accuracy, as well
as machining time.

Vacuum systems
The grid vacuum clamping system ERWIN is used to clamp workpieces
with simple, large-area geometries, e.g. panel material. The necessary
clamping ranges are safely clamped through the use of sealing cords.
The work table of a CNC system is equipped with multiple vacuum
plates, which are manufactured from PVC. The individual plates and
the required groove grid are processed directly on the CNC system,
so that a plane surface of the vacuum table is guaranteed.

Dust removal technology is increasingly gaining in significance. When utilised correctly
and perfectly designed for the respective application it brings with it huge advantages:
• The aspect of health should always be the priority. Fine dust
is generated with many applications, visible as deposits on level surfaces. However, the respirable fine dust in the intake area of the CNC system, which swirls
invisibly in the air, is often underestimated.
• Production interruptions (downtimes plus cleaning work), resulting from frequent
cleaning work on the CNC system, are significantly reduced.
• Premature wear and unnecessary defects in high-value components (axes, control, accessory components) are avoided.

he Pentamo 500-S impresses with its modular design, through which it can be used with various axes configurations in the 5-axis range. At imes-icore the customer is always the priority. They can therefore select the axis system
that gives them the best degree of freedom. Utilised for example is a rotating/swivelling unit developed specifically for
the Pentamo with 5-station tool changer for HSK-E 25. The horizontally mounted HF milling spindle with 40,000 rpm
guarantees the maximum in precision and quality. With the 4-axis variant of the Pentamo, this orientation - in combination with a rotating axis at right angles to the spindle - brings new possibilities with it. The stable steel frame with
surface-ground, solid granite bed stands for vibration-free processing.

T
he GPV/GPY - has been proven as a perfect 5-axis system! Today's applications demand a machine concept that
is versatile in use for up to 5-axis processing on the one hand, whilst also offering large processing surfaces and correspondingly large travel paths. The system should also be economical and value for money and suitable for expansion
with additional applications for the future. Nothing more simple than that: Through the countless possible combinations
of the machine frame with linear axes and rotating axes, it has been possible to realise a unique and flexible design. Interesting with the CNC machine range GPV/GPY are the double-sided driven Y and Z axes with very high Z clearance.
The application area and milling materials are similar to those of the GFV/GFY systems. The GPV/GPY system is
available with added auxiliary modules. This system concept could have been created especially for 5-axis processing
(4th/5th axis as a rotating/swivelling head).

The MMF machine range was specially developed for model, prototype and mould construction. High structural stiff-
ness was the priority during development, resulting in a solid design. Equipped with a fork head as 4th or 5th axis,
the MMF is ideally suited for the 5-side processing and milling of large volume workpieces. The interplay between
functions such as jerk control, speed and acceleration settings, look-ahead rail control and simultaneous tool orientation permits optimum utilisation of the technology. This means optimum alignment with changing requirements such as
speed, accuracy and surface quality.

Vacuum systems
The grid vacuum clamping system ERWIN is used to clamp workpieces with simple, large-area geometries, e.g. panel material.
The necessary clamping ranges are safely clamped through the use
of sealing cords. The work table of a CNC system is equipped with
multiple vacuum plates, which are manufactured from PVC. The individual plates and the required groove grid are processed directly
on the CNC system, so that a plane surface of the vacuum table is
guaranteed.

Dust removal systems
PROFI-120
Dust removal technology is increasingly gaining in significance. When utilised correctly and perfectly designed for the respective application it brings with it huge
advantages:
• The aspect of health should always be the priority. Fine dust is generated with
many applications, visible as deposits on level surfaces. However, the respirable
fine dust in the intake area of the CNC system, which swirls invisibly in the air,
is often underestimated.
• Production interruptions (downtimes plus cleaning work), resulting from frequent
cleaning work on the CNC system, are significantly reduced.
• Premature wear and unnecessary defects in high-value components (axes, control, accessory components) are avoided.

The PREMIUM 4030 µ graphite is the ideal machine concept for the milling of graphite and copper electrodes. All crit-
ical points of the high speed cutting (HSC milling technology) are combined in this CNC system, therefore performance
of this machining process can be fully utilised. The high stability required with HSC milling is attained through the solid
granite table with steel substructure. The primary rock graphite offers high damping, high thermal stability and high
compressive strength. Linear guides and linear motors are installed outside the working area, additionally protecting
components against chips and abrasive fine dusts. Extraction of the fine dust generated during processing takes place
with Tornado power, due to the variable arrangement of the extraction cyclone. An additional highlight: The PREMIUM
4030µ graphite is compatible with all zero point clamping systems. On request it is possible to integrate the electrode
retainers and changer systems of all renowned manufacturers (Hirschmann, Erowa, 3R, etc). The rapid control technology required for the HSC processing is optionally realised with i-8000/Heidenhain®.

machine. The machine is predestined for the high-precision processing of individual or serial parts, in almost all materials. The new reworked 3 to 5-axis HSC milling system now has the additional possibility of connecting automation
systems (handling systems / robots) for unmanned production. This has been made possible through expanded control
and communication possibilities, in order to communicate safely with a wide range of automation units, or to control
these autonomously in the production process. In order to guarantee extreme stiffness and precision of the machine,
the machine's base structure has once again been realised in steel and polished hard rock. With all linear axes, polished natural granite in accordance with DIN876/quality 00 has been used as the carrier material to guarantee the precise long-term stability and predominant temperature independence.

Dust removal systems
Dust removal technology is increasingly gaining in significance. When utilised correctly and perfectly designed for the respective application it brings with it huge
advantages:
• Extraction for special dusts
• The aspect of health should always be the priority. Fine dust is generated with many applications, visible as deposits on level surfaces.
However, the respirable fine dust in the intake area of the CNC system, which swirls invisibly in the air, is often underestimated.
• Production interruptions (downtimes plus cleaning work), resulting
from frequent cleaning work on the CNC system, are significantly
reduced. Through automatic cleaning
• Premature wear and unnecessary defects in high-value components (axes, control, accessory components) are avoided.

The world of
Customised machines
The base of a custom machine may exhibit entirely different dimensions to a serial machine, e.g. different
travel paths, clearance heights, table cut-outs, front clamping areas (for extremely tall parts), shuttle tables
or axes arrangements for the in-line process.
It is possible to integrate automatic part feeds, connections with handling systems or robot equipment
for unmanned production. The necessary communication with external control systems is guaranteed
through a wide range of free inputs/outputs, a superordinate PLC and the open NC command scope.
CNC machine systems that are also tailored to the respective application, for industrial series production.
Also possible are CNC systems with an integrated
shuttle table and monitoring with light barrier, for
integration in production lines or for the connection
of equipping machines.
On request we can supplement the automation system with clamping and dust removal technology, as
well as aligned user interfaces or input screens, so
that the CNC system can be operated by any level of
user. Typical applications may include a simple input
screen for selecting the article to be milled, article
number management, the number of repetitions or
a barcode/data matrix connection. The perfectly tailored components can facilitate customer-specific

Your request is our
challenge!
imes-icore
made in
Germany
Save time with
2 working areas
The custom machine, with the patented metal/granite sandwich construction for the moving axes (gantry and crossbeam), is based on
the proven machine concept of imes-icore GmbH. The axes drive on
high-precision linear guides on a solid
steel/granite machine table base.
This results in maximum stiffness
with simultaneous weight savings.
Extensive dynamics and a high degree of running quietness are attained
with the powered nuts of the circulating ball screw. AC servo motors are
used as drives. The powerful ES915
spindle with SK30 tool holder allows
the clamping of tools with a diameter
of 20 mm. The advantage of this machine concept is obvious: With a 3-axis
system, you have access to two separate machine tables. By protecting
the individual work tables it is possible to load and unload one side whilst
a machining process takes place on
the other side. The machine standstill times are reduced to a minimum.
The interplay between functions such
as jerk control, speed and acceleration pre-settings, and look-ahead rail
control enable optimum utilisation
of the technology and alignment with
changing requirements when it comes
to speed, accuracy and surface quality.

odern CNC waterjet systems are suitable for automatically processing almost every contour and every material. However, these norms no longer come close to satisfying requirements with modern industrial solutions. As
an experienced, long-term supplier of CNC machine systems, imes-icore GmbH has concentrated on the fundamental features with the i-CUTwater® Basic range, and has succeeded in developing the most economical and
reliable waterjet cutting system presently available on the market. This machine is 100% manufactured in our factory in Germany. All machines and machine parts are subject to our defined ongoing
quality controls under compliance with strict European standards. A further feature of the i-CUTwater® Basic range is
the intuitive control, which has been produced according to modern ergonomic aspects. Even less experienced operators are capable of starting with it immediately, without complex and costly training sessions, which one expects with
a modern waterjet system:
Waterjet cutting, economically and reliably.

Micro waterjet cutting is employed in all areas where normal waterjet cutting does not meet its accuracy or delicacy
limits. Through the special features of our micro machines, which enable control and minimisation of the jet, as well
as elimination of accuracy-distorting factors, it is possible to cut even the smallest of contours without heat input or
structural changes.

i-CUTwater® 5 axis
W
imes-icore GmbH has two fundamentally aligned systems available for the 5-axis waterjet systems, for
various tasks. Both systems realise the movement around the TCP and are therefore highly space-efficient.
The first construction kit was developed in order to minimise
effects that are detrimental to the cutting results in the cutting angle specifically at very high cutting speeds, as can
arise with very high pressures of up to 6200 bar. The effect of this is the cutting edge no longer running vertically to
the material surface. In order to achieve a quality cut at these
high speeds, it is advantageous if the necessary movements
of the cutting head can be implemented highly dynamically, without corrections in X, Y and Z. Through the unique design principle it is possible to cut endless numbers of "spirals"
without a return movement being required. The imes-icore
in-house developed movement mechanism is particularly spaceefficient through the limitation of the working angle to a maximum
+-10°, and can therefore be retrofitted to existing machines.
A second construction kit is available with a true 45° cutting device. With this it is possible to realise the classic 2.5-D or 3D
cuts on panel material. The swivel movement also runs through
the TCP. Additionally, a tailored sensing system ensures a constant distance between the water outlet and workpiece surface
throughout the entire cutting process. With this system the user
also has access to the cutting angle correction.
i-CUTwater® tube cutting
Tube processing with the abrasive
waterjet requires a number of features, in order to guarantee an industrial production process. imesicore GmbH offers its own auxiliary
module for your flat material waterjet
systems, which enables tube processing without damaging the inside of the tube and without using
the customary sacrificial material.
the tube is moved purely mechanically without an additional drive.
The specialised control system only
reads in processed 3D drawings.
However, the operator without CAD
experience can also prepare tube
processing in just a few seconds
with macro support. As the tube cutting device is an additional module,
the waterjet system can change between tube and flat material with just

Laser systems
Laser sources
The fundamental core piece of a laser system is the laser. The application for
which a laser system is procured generally determines the selection of the laser source. In order to enable our customers to obtain the ideal combination
of machine and laser source for them, we work with leading manufacturers
of laser sources such as FEHA, SPI and IPG.
imes-icore i-las diode laser 2-9 Watt
Extraction
The iCompVAC brings with it a powerful extraction system with brushless turbine on the one hand,
whilst an oil-free compressor is installed in the same
housing of the iCompVAC, which enables direct operation of the laser cutting systems. Control takes
place automatically with the program start and end.
We offer the iVAC extraction system for laser marking.
This is an economical option for safely removing healthendangering vapours from the machine. The large integrated carbon filter facilitates a high degree of fine dust
filtering and therefore rarely requires replacement.

including 3D processing on STL data (basic functions).
isyCAM 2.8 offers a general solution for prototyping and production, from design through to processing, with imes-icore
CNC machines in the 2½D range and limited 3D range.
Comprehensive import/export possibilities, as well as a wide
range of font types complete the CAD part.
The software package offered is optimally suited for entry to the CAD/CAM world.
Operation is "Windows-like" with graphic menus and dialogue boxes. The CAD part contains all functions necessary
for design in the 2½D range. The designs are converted
in the CAM part directly into processing data for the machine
control, e.g. pockets and contour processing, engraving and
drilling. These can then be issued to the connected machine
or control without detours, with the operating and output software WIN-Remote.
Application fields:
As an expansion to predecessor versions, scan data (STL)
can now be imported and processed. Furthermore, simple 3D
strategies are also contained within this version.
A simple update option is possible at any time on

Heidenhain TNC 320
The TNC 320 is a compact yet diverse rail control with four (optionally five) controlled
axes. Due to its flexible operating concept – workshop-orientated programmability in HEIDENHAIN plain text dialogue or external programming – and its performance scope, it is
perfectly suited for use on universal milling and drilling machines. The 15-inch TFT colour
flat screen clearly displays all information that is required for the programming, operating
and management of the control and machine: Program sets, information, error messages,
etc. Additional information is provided by the graphic support with the program entry, with
the program test and during processing. With a split screen it is possible to display the NC
sets in one screen half, and the graphic or status display on the other half of the screen.
Whilst the program is running, you always have access to status
displays on the screen. These offer information regarding the tool
position, the current program, the active cycles and coordinate recalculations, etc. Likewise, the TNC 320 informs of the actual processing time.
