MBS-Freunde,
liebe Kollegen,
Das Symbol der Globalisierung ist 20
Fuß lang, 8 Fuß breit und 8,6 Fuß hoch,
und eigentlich war es ein Zufallsprodukt.
Irgendwann war es der amerikanische
Spediteur Malcolm McLean einfach leid,
die Fracht aus den Anhängern seiner Lkw
immer mühsam auf Schiffe umzuladen, also
ließ er seine Transportgüter eines Tages samt
Hänger verladen und irgendwann danach nur
noch den Behälter selbst. 50 Jahre ist das jetzt
her, es war die Geburtsstunde des Containers;
und was als spontane Idee in New York
seinen Anfang nahm, ist aus der modernen
Wirtschaft nicht mehr wegzudenken: Allein im
vergangenen Jahr wurden in den Seehäfen der
Welt fast 100 Millionen Standardcontainer
verschifft. In zehn Jahren sollen es mehr als
doppelt so viele sein. Tendenz weiter steigend.
Die MBS Logistik Gruppe kommt dieser
Entwicklung nach. Mit der Eröffnung 3
weiterer Standorte in China werden wir
2010 weiter wachsen und den Ansprüchen
nachkommen. Der Ausbau unseres weltweiten
Netzwerkes steht 2010 für die MBS Gruppe
im Vordergrund der Entwicklung. Getreu der
Feststellung:
Eine Schlüsselfunktion auf dem Weg zu einer
intelligenten und störungsfreien Logistik hat
– wie immer – der Mensch. Ohne die Dienstleistungsbereitschaft und Erfahrung der
Mitarbeiter, die im Zweifel jede IT-Lösung
überstimmen, wird man nie erfolgreich sein
können. An dieser Stelle ein Lob und Dank

Meeting 2010 in Bangkok
Auch im Januar 2010 war die MBS Logistics
Gruppe mit einem eigenen Stand auf dem
WCA Meeting in Bangkok vertreten.
Also in January 2010, the MBS Logistics
Group was present with its own booth at
the annual WCA meeting in Bangkok.
Mit zahlreichen Logistikdienstleistern aus
der ganzen Welt und vielen „One to One
Meetings“ war das Meeting in Fernost
wieder ein voller Erfolg für die Kollegen
der MBS Logistics Gruppe.

Seit Dezember 2009 hat die Firma
Expolanka in Jebel Ali, Dubai ein neues
Büro und ein eigenes Lager in der
Freihandelszone. Von hier aus werden
Sammelcontainer für die ganze Middle
East Region gepackt. Die MBS Logistics
Gruppe wird gemeinsam mit Expolanka
Middle East Sammler aufbauen, die dort
aufgebrochen und verteilt werden.

The symbol of globalisation is 20 feet long,
8 feet wide, and 8.6 feet high, actually it was
an invention by coincidence. At some point
the American forwarder Malcolm McLean
was tired of reloading the freight from his
trucks onto the vessels all the time. He then
moved the freight inside the trucks onto the
vessels to then only load the containers. This
happened 50 years ago, it was the birth of the
containers, and what started as a spontaneous idea in New York is irreplaceable in our
modern economy now. Only last year almost
100 million standard containers were shipped
worldwide. In ten years the numbers shall
be doubled. MBS Logistics Group follows
this development. With the opening of three
further offices in China we will continue to
expand in 2010 and meet the demand. The
development of our worldwide network is in
the focus of MBS Logistics Group in 2010.
Following this declaration: One key function
while setting up an intelligent and smooth
logistic is held once again by the human
being. One will never be successful without
the will to serve and without the experience
of employees – who will in doubt outrun any
IT system. At this point we want to thank all
of our extremely encouraged staff – the MBS
Team!!!

Expolanka has a new office in Jebel Ali,
Dubai and an own warehouse in the Free
Trade Zone as of December 2009. From
here, groupage containers are stuffed
for the whole Middle East Region. MBS
Logistics Group and Expolanka will
arrange Middle East groupage containers,
which will be split up and distributed to
their final destination.

In der Übersichtsebene wird der aktuelle Status für jede Bestellung angezeigt.
Ein Status definiert dabei ein bestimmtes Ereignis im Lebenszyklus des Auftrages. Diese reichen von der ersten
Kontaktaufnahme beim Lieferanten zur LT
Kontrolle (Status 100) bis zur finalen Anlieferung der Ware am Endbestimmungsort
(Status 600).
Basic View:
The overview level displays the current
status of each order. A status defines a
particular event in the life cycle of the order. This ranges from the first contact with
the supplier to the delivery date control
(status 100) to the final delivery of the
goods at the final destination (status 600).

Zusammengefasst in logischen Verschiffungsgruppen hinsichtlich Liefertermin
und Kapazitätsauslastung, erscheinen alle
gebuchten Aufträge mit ihrem jeweiligen
Fertigstellungsdatum des Lieferanten. Jeder Gruppe ist das entsprechende Transportmittel inklusive eines Verschiffungsvorschlages zugeordnet, der vom Kunden
interaktiv bestätigt wird (grüner Punkt).
Bei diesem Report kann der Kunde die Details des Auftrages (Artikel-Nr., Krt, Stk, Kg,
Vol.) einsehen.

Huckepack nach Angola
Im März 2010 waren unsere Roll-On RollOff (RORO) – Spezialisten wieder mal
gefragt. Für einen Kunden in Angola
sollte ein ausrangierter Truck sowie ein
Kleintransporter per RORO Verschiffung
verschickt werden. Hierfür wurde der
Kleintransporter auf der Ladefläche des
LKW platziert und transportsicher verzurrt.
Dieses Gespann wurde dann per Tieflader
nach Hamburg gebracht. Nach erfolgter
Export Verzollung wurden die Fahrzeuge
auf eine RORO Fähre verladen und machten sich auf den Weg via Antwerpen zum
Bestimmungshafen Luanda in Angola.
Hier wurde die Sendung Mitte April an den
Empfänger übergeben.

Roll-On Roll-Off to Angola
In March 2010, our Roll-On Roll-Off–experts were asked for one more time. For
a customer in Angola a discarded truck
and a van had to be transported by ROROshipment. The mini van was placed on the
truck and safely lashed. This combination
was transported to Hamburg by trailer.
After the export customs clearance the
vehicles were loaded on a Roll-On Roll-Off
ferry and made their way via Antwerp to
its destination port of Luanda in Angola.
The consignment was surrendered to the
consignee middle of April.
In future MBS Logistics will put more emphasis on the market for Roll-On Roll-Off
shipments and offer the complete range
of logistics solutions for your worldwide
RORO-traffic.
Schiffskranteile auf Reisen mit
MBS Cargo, Norderstedt
In großartiger Zusammenarbeit zwischen
MBS Cargo und deren Außenstelle Rotterdam wurden in Rotterdam vorliegende
und in Hamburg eilig benötigte Schiffskranteile disponiert.
Die MBS Cargo hat die Ware direkt aus
der Fertigung übernommen und verladen.
Benötigt wurde hierfür ein Tieflader sowie
zwei 40´Tonner. Der eingesetzte Tieflader
war ein Tiefbetttransporter, der notwendig
war, da einige der Kranteile bereits zusammengesetzt waren. Durch den Einsatz dieses Spezialtransporters durften die Kollegen der MBS Cargo den Schwertransport
ohne Sondergenehmigung übernehmen.
Die Information, dass ein solches Fahrzeug
benötigt wurde, erhielten die Kollegen der
MBS Cargo erst zwei Tag vor geplanter

Abholung. Es musste also schnell reagiert
werden. Die Gesamtpartie umfasste ca.
60 to Gewicht und Konstruktionsteile mit
bis zu 3 Metern Höhe. Insgesamt hat der
Schiffskran eine Tragfähigkeit von 375 to.
Die Auftragsbearbeitung erfolgte durch
unseren MBS Cargo Mitarbeiter, Johannes Maercker.

Shipside crane parts went on a journey
with MBS Cargo, Norderstedt
In great collaboration between MBS and
their cargo office in Rotterdam shipside
crane parts located in Rotterdam were urgently moved to Hamburg as desperately
needed there.
The MBS Cargo loaded the goods directly
from the production site. For this transaction low loaders as well as two 40-tonners
were required.

The used low loader was a ladle transporter that was necessary, since some of
the crane parts were already assembled.
By using this special truck the colleagues
of MBS Cargo were allowed to move the
heavy load without special permit.
The colleagues of MBS Cargo received
the information that such a vehicle was
needed only two days before the scheduled collection therefore fast action was
required.
The total shipment weight about 60 tons,
some parts were up to 3 meters high.
The total capacity of the shipside crane
amounts to 375 tons.
Our MBS Cargo staff John Maercker carried out this order.
Stahlseilfördergurt ab Australien zum Tagebau
In Zusammenarbeit mit unserem Partner
in Australien hat die MBS Sea Cargo einen Stahlseilfordergurt ex Fremantle, Australien nach Grevenbroich, Deutschland
verladen.
Den langen Weg von Australien über Japan nach Deutschland – Bremerhaven,
haben die Spezialisten der MBS Sea Cargo in Köln mit Bravur abgewickelt. Schon
während des Seetransportes wurden die
Anträge für alle Sondergenehmigungen
für den LKW Nachlauf zum Zielort eingereicht. Hierbei kommt es vor Allem auf die
regelmäßige Abstimmung über den genauen Zeitpunkt des Transportes mit allen
beteiligten Behörden an.
Nachdem alle Sondergenehmigungen
vorlagen, konnte der eigentliche Transport
in Angriff genommen werden. Besondere
Herausforderungen für diese Verladung
ergaben sich durch das schlechte Wetter
im Februar und diverse Baustellen auf
der Strecke. Dem zu Folge mussten immer wieder Genehmigungen verlängert
oder sogar neu beantragt werden. Ab
Bremerhaven ging es am 26.02.2010 endlich via LKW weiter in den Tagebau nach
Garzweiler in Grevenbroich. Der gesamte
Transport der 31 to schweren und 28.672
cbm großen Rolle lief reibungslos ab. Wir
danken Sven Beuchert und seinem Team
für die herausragende Arbeit!
Steel Cable from Australia to open
cast mining
In collaboration with our partners in Australia, MBS Sea Cargo moved a steel cable
conveyor belt ex Fremantle, Australia to
Grevenbroich Germany.
The specialists of MBS Sea Cargo in Cologne handled with the shipment from Australia via Japan to Germany - Bremerhaven.
The shipment was still sailing when all
special permits were signed up for the onward transport by truck.
This depends on regular adjustments of
the exact date of shipment with all authorities involved.
After all the special permits have been issued, the actual transport could be planned. Particular challenges for this loading
resulted from the bad weather in February
and various road works along the route.
As a result permits had to be renewed
again an again or even re-applied
Finally starting from Bremerhaven the
transport by truck kept on moving to the
mine of Garzweiler in Grevenbroich on
26/02/2010. The total transport of the 31
tons and 28,672 cubic meters large roll ran
smoothly. We thank Sven Beuchert and his
team for their outstanding work!

60 Tonnen Ex Taiwan
Im Februar 2010 wurde von den Kollegen der MBS Frankfurt eine Maschine zur
Herstellung von Schrauben ex Taiwan via
Hamburg nach Konjic in Bosnien verladen.
Die in einer Seekiste verpackte Maschine hatte ein Gesamtgewicht
von 60to. Per Tieflader erfolgte
der Transport vom Hersteller in
Taiwan zum Abgangshafen
Kaohsiung wo die Kiste
mit Hilfe eines Schwerlastkrans in den Schiffsrumpf verladen wurde.
Nach Ankunft in Hamburg sorgten die
Schwergutspezialisten von MBS Frankfurt
für die Kranverladung vom Schiff direkt
auf einen Tieflader. Alle für den Straßentransport erforderlichen Genehmigungen
wurden während der Seereise bereits
beantragt und lagen pünktlich für den reibungslosen Weitertransport vor.
Von Hamburg ging es über Österreich,
Slowenien und Kroatien nach Bosnien.
Die Verzollung der Sendung wurde am
Grenzübergang Mostar erledigt. Am Zielort in Konjic mussten zwei Mobilkräne für
die Entladung bereitgestellt werden. Die
Schwierigkeit hierbei bestand darin
eine am Gebäude vorbeiführende
Hochleitung nicht zu beschädigen.
Zeitgleich wurde ein 20’
Container mit Zubehörund Ersatzteilen von
Taiwan via Hamburg
und per Bahn weiter
nach Konjictransportiert.
Hamburg we went to Bosnia via Austria,
Slovenia and Croatia. The goods were
cleared for import at the Mostar border
crossing. On arrival in Konjic two mobile
cranes had to be provided for unloading.
The difficulty here was not to damage the
overhead wire next to the building.
At the same time a 20‘ container with
accessories and spare parts was also
transported from Taiwan via Hamburg to
Konjic by train.
60 tons ex Taiwan
At the end of February 2010 a machine for
the manufacturing of screws was loaded
ex Taiwan via Hamburg to Konjic in Bosnia by the colleagues of MBS Frankfurt.
The safely packaged machine weighed 60
tons. The transport was effected by lowloader from the manufacturer in Taiwan
to Kaohsiung (POD) where the machine

was loaded by a heavy crane into the
ship‘s hull.
After arrival in Hamburg heavy cargo
experts from Frankfurt organized the
crane loading from the ship directly onto a
lowloader. All necessary permits for road
transports were already claimed during the
sea voyage and were punctually available
for the smooth ongoing transport. From

MBS Logistics Gruppe expandiert in
Ningbo und Shenzen, China
Am 10.04.10 hat unser Geschäftsführer in
Hongkong, Thorsten Thiemann, alle Mitarbeiter unserer Büros aus Hongkong,
Shanghai und Xiamen zum „Annual
Dinner“ nach Hongkong eingeladen. Zunächst wurden beim Bowlen die Kräfte
gemessen und anschließend wurde bei
stürmischem Wetter eine Tour mit einem
Schiff um Hongkong Island veranstaltet,
die am Abend in Saikung endete. Bei einem Abendessen mit Spezialitäten aus
dem Meer fand ein schöner Tag seinen
Ausklang. Unser Geschäftsführer Bernd
Wilkes und Frau Roswitha Sprick MBS Sea
Cargo Köln waren begeistert von unserem
Team in China, das auch den anwesenden
„Langnasen“ zeigen konnte, dass es bei
MBS in Asien neben harter Arbeit auch ein
fröhliches Miteinander gibt. Besonders lobend wurde von unserem Geschäftsführer
Bernd Wilkes erwähnt, dass wir in China
unter der Leitung unseres Geschäftsführers Abraham Tao aus Shanghai eine
außergewöhnlich positive Entwicklung
im Jahr 2009 vorweisen können und wir
auch im Jahr 2010 weiter in China expandieren werden. Im Mai 2010 werden wir
zwei weitere Niederlassungen in Ningbo
und Shenzhen eröffnen. Nochmals ein
großes Dankeschön an Abraham Tao und
alle Mitarbeiter. Wir wünschen Abraham
Tao, seinem Team in China und unseren
Mitarbeitern im Headoffice Hongkong viel
Erfolg auch für das Jahr 2010 und freuen
uns schon auf das nächste „Annual Dinner“, welches vielleicht in Shanghai mit unseren neuen Mitarbeitern in Shenzen und
Ningbo stattfinden wird.

On April 04, 2010 our managing director
in Hong Kong, Mr. Thorsten Thiemann,
invited all colleagues of our offices in
Hong Kong, Shanghai and Xiamen to
an „Annual Dinner“ in Hong Kong. The
evening started with some rounds of
bowling, competition was met. Afterwards
a ship-tour was done through stormy
whether, which ended in Saikung later
in the evening. The wonderful day ended
with a nice dinner full of delicacies from
the sea. Our managing director, Bernd
Wilkes and Ms. Roswitha Sprick, MBS Sea
Cargo Cologne, were delighted to not only
see the very hard work done in Asia but
also to feel the joyful team spirit. Bernd
Wilkes especially pointed out the extraordinary development in Shanghai under
general management of Abraham Tao
to further expand in 2010. We will open
two new offices in China in May 2010 in
Ningbo and Shenzen. Again a great thanks
to Abraham Tao and all employees. We
are looking forward to our next “Annual
Dinner” possibly held in Shanghai with
our new colleagues from Shenzen and
Ningbo.

MBS Logistiks organisert einen thailändischen Gemeinschaftsstand mit insgesamt 124 Ausstellern. Das Messeteam
wird die Delegierten mit Standbaumaterial, Nahrungsmitteln und Kühl- und Tiefkühlgut versorgen. Insgesamt wird eine
2 x 40’ standard Box Containern mit einem
Inhalt von 16to Konserven bereitgestellt.
Die Luftfracht umfasst 1000 kg Tiefkühlgut
und Kühlgut, also Fisch, Meeresfrüchte
und Fertig-Menüs, ebenso 99 Veterinär –
Abfertigungen.
MBS Logistics managed a joint booth
from Thailand with all together 124 exhibitors. The team provided the delegates
with construction material, food both refrigerated and frozen. A total of a 2 x 40
‚standard box container with a capacity of
16 tons of canned food was provided at
the site. 1000to of Air Freight was carried
to the fair, consisting of refrigerated and
frozen food; fish, seafood as well as convenience food. 99 veterinary checks had to
be taken.

Domotex Messe/Fair Hannover
Anlässlich der letzten Domotex Messe
hat die MBS Logistics die Messelogistik
für 5 Aussteller übernommen. Das Sendungsvolumen umfasste insgesamt 17to.
Zusätzlich hat die MBS Messelogistik die
Lagerung des gesamten Standbaumaterials bereits für die Domotex Messe im
nächsten Jahr übernommen.
During the last Domotex fair MBS Logistics was in charge of the trade fair logistics
for 5 exhibitors. The shipment consists of
17 to of various goods. Furthermore MBS
Exhibitions has been appointed to handle
the warehousing of the whole booth construction material for the Domotex Fair
next year.

Zusammenarbeit mit der Firma Movers, Indien
WCA Agent Movers International und
MBS Fairs, Exhibitions und Events Intensivieren Ihre Zusammenarbeit auf dem
Messesektor. Das ist das Ergebnis eines
persönlichen Gespräches zwischen dem
MD – Movers Delhi und den Vertretern des
Messeteams Jörg Brücker und Jürgen Steckel. Vorausgegangen waren die gemeinsame Betreuung von indischer Beteiligung
zur Heimtextil, Frankfurt, Paperworld und
Ambiente, Frankfurt. Maßgeblich angestoßen wurde die Aktion von Stefan
Wischrath und letztlich mit hohem persönlich Einsatz umgesetzt von der MBS
Logistics, Frankfurt (Stella Odzakovic, Tuan
Huynh, Heiko Roland) und MBS Logistics
Köln (Jörg Brücker). Die gesamte logistische Leistungspalette wurde in eigener
Regie abgewickelt. Dies war bis dato ein
Novum am Messeplatz Frankfurt.

Cooperation with the company Movers, India
WCA Agent Movers and MBS International Fairs, Exhibitions and Events intensify
their cooperation in the trade fair sector.
This is the result of a personal conversation between MD - Movers Delhi and our
representatives of the trade fair team Jörg
Brucker and Jürgen Steckel. This followed

the joint support of Indian participation
at Heimtextil, Frankfurt, Paperworld and
ambiance, Frankfurt. The action was significantly initiated by Stafan Wischrath and
ultimately implemented with the personal
commitment of the MBS Logistics, Frankfurt (Stella Odzakovic, Tuan Huynh, Heiko
Roland) and MBS Logistics, Cologne (Jörg
Brücker). The entire range of logistics services was managed in our own initiative.
So far this was a novelty at the trade fair
centre of Frankfurt.

Ägyptischer Gemeinschaftsstand Uniplan International GmbH + Co
Ebenso war die Gulfood Messe in Dubai
ein voller Erfolg.
14 x 40* Standard Box Container wurden
termingerecht und zollabgefertigt an den
Messestand geliefert. Die dafür vorgesehene, sehr knapp kalkulierte Auf- und Abbauzeit war die Herausforderung für den
Messebau und die Logistik dar.
Unser perfekt vorbereiteter Container
Stauplan sicherte eine termingerechte Bereitstellung von tägl. bis zu 4 Containern
im Werk in Kerpen. Die MBS Logistics
bot einen reibungslosen Transportverlauf
bis zum Messegelände in Dubai. Bereits bei der Ankunft des MBS Teams am
Messegelände war alles zur Lieferung
vorbereitet. 11 der 14 Container waren
ebenerdig an der Messehalle platziert.
Zum Aufbaubeginn um 0:00 in der Nacht
wurde mit der Anlieferung des Standbaumaterials unter der Anleitung des MBS
Messeteamleiters Jörg Brücker begonnen. Die Zustellung der restlichen 3 Container erfolgte ebenso pünktlich gemäß
dem Aufbauplan. Dank der sorgfälltigen
Vorbereitung, der ständigen Präsenz und
Flexibilität bei der Bereitstellung von technischem Equipment konnte die Firma Uniplan ihrem Kunden einen termingerecht
und ausgezeichnet hergerichteten Messestand übergeben. Hierbei konnten die
MBS’ ler auch weiterhin Ihren Beitrag leisten, denn auch ein kurzfristig produziertes Logo, das per Luftfracht nachgeliefert
wurde, konnte pünktlich am Stand übergeben werden. Leergut, Zollabfertigung,
der Rücktransport sowie die persönliche
Betreuung vor Ort rundeten das Bild einer
beispielhaften Messebetreuung durch die
MBS Logistics für den Kunden ab.

Egyptian Joint Booth from Uniplan GmbH & Co.
Likewise the Gulfood Fair in Dubai was a
huge success.
14 x 40 standard box containers were
cleared and delivered to the booth in due
time.
The short calculated time span for set-up
and dismantling was a large challenge for
the booth constructions and logistics.
However our perfectly prepared container
stowage plan secured an on-time provision of up to 4 containers daily at the
plant in Kerpen. MBS Logistics provided
»
a smoothe transport to the exhibition
grounds in Dubai. Starting with the arrival
of the MBS team at the fairgrounds everything was prepared for delivery. 11 of the
14 containers were placed at ground level
of the exhibition hall. The set-up at 0:00
with the delivery of the booth construction
material under the guidance of the MBS
project team leader Jörg Brucker. The delivery of the remaining 3 containers was
also on time according to the construction
plan.
Uniplan was able to hand over a perfect
booth to his client on time. This was because of constant presence and extreme
flexibility while handling all technical
equipment. MBS Logistics could further
be of great assistance when moving a new
logo – produced on very short notice – to
the booth by Air Freight.
Handling of empties, customs clearance,
the return transport and the personal onsite support complete the exemplary fair
support by the MBS Logistics.
Practical World 2010, Köln

REWE Touristik Programmvorstellung 2010
Altes Flughafen Terminal Palma de Mallorca
Wie schon in den vergangenen 10 Jahren,
wurde MBS Exhibitions und Events auch
in diesem Jahr zum alleinigen, offiziellen
Messespediteur bestimmt.
Nachdem die REWE Messe mit wechselnden Veranstaltungsorten in den vergangenen Jahren in Wien, Budapest und
Potsdam statt gefunden hat, war dieses
Mal der Ort des Geschehens und die logistische Herausforderung auf Mallorca. Das
von MBS erstellte Logistik Konzept ging
voll und ganz auf. 150 Hoteliers, Reisedienstleister und Aussteller aus Deutschland, Europa, Nordafrika, der Südsee und
der Karibik präsentierten sich für 3 Tage
den 1500 geladenen Reise-Expedienten
aus Deutschland. Das MBS - Messeteam
versorgte die Aussteller täglich mit den
gewünschten Exponaten, Prospekten und
Präsenten. Die Delegation vor Ort gewährleistete unter der Leitung von Jörg Brücker
einen reibungslosen Ablauf von Zollabfertigungen, Zwischenlagerung, Kommissionierung, Anlieferung an den Stand und
dem Leerguthandling. Wiederum sehr
dankbar zeigten sich die Aussteller und
der Veranstalter über die Möglichkeit, am
Info Desk mit MBS persönlich den Rücktransport von Standbaumaterial und Restmengen zu besprechen und die ein oder
andere Unterstützung bei der erforderlichen Dokumentation und Verpackung zu
erhalten.
Wie schon in den Vergangen beiden Jahren, hatte sich die REWE Touristik auch
dieses Jahr für ihre Besucher einen ganz
besonderen Service einfallen lassen. Jeder Besucher erhielt einen Reise-Trolley,
der zum Sammeln von Informationsmaterial und Präsenten vorgesehen war. Nach
der Veranstaltung konnten diese Trolleys
beim MBS-Infodesk abgegeben werden.
Die MBS Messeprofis sorgten mit dem
speziell ausgearbeiteten Service für eine
konkurrenzlos günstige Frei-Haus-Lieferung für jeden einzelnen Besucher binnen
weniger Tage.
Am Ende der Veranstaltung bedankten
sich die Aussteller und der Veranstalter
für den gewohnt hohen Servicestandard.
Zur kommenden Programmvorstellung,
so der Veranstalter, ist klar, dass die MBS
Logistics Gruppe wieder die logistische
Betreuung vornehmen wird.

REWE Touristic presentation of the program in 2010

As in the past 10 years, MBS Exhibitions
& Events has also been assigned to be
the the sole, official Exhibition Partner this
year.
After the REWE trade fair has taken place
in different locations such as Vienna, Budapest and Potsdam in recent years. Mallorca was chosen this year to be the place
and logistic challenge. The logistics concept created by MBS worked perfectly. 150
hotel representatives, tour operators and
exhibitors from Germany, Europe, North
Africa, South Pacific and the Caribbean
presented themselves to the 1,500 invited
travel agents from Germany for 3 days.
The MBS - Exhibition team supplied exhibitors with the required exhibits, brochures and giveaways daily. The on-site delegation, managed by Jörg Brucker ensured
the smooth customs clearance, storage,

picking and delivery to the booth and the
handling of empties.
The Exhibitors and organizers very much
appreciated the information desk of MBS
Logistics once again. Questions regarding
the return of construction material, left
over and packaging could be discussed
face-to-face.
REWE
As in the past two years, also this year the
REWE Touristik came up with a very special service for it’s guests. Each guest received a trolley, useful for the collection of
information material and presents.
After the event these trolleys could be returned to the MBS-information desk. With
a specially developed service the MBS
exhibition professionals sent these trolleys back to each and every person at an
exceptionally free-domicile rate within a
few days.
The organizers and exhibitors thanked the
MBS Exhibition team for an excellent procurement and service. It is out of the question for the organizer, that no one else but
MBS Logistics will manage also the next
year program presentation.

Regelmäßig findet alle zwei Jahre ein weltweites Meeting mit allen Häusern der Firma Publiship statt. Beim letzten Meeting in
Marbella wurden aktuelle Entwicklungen
besprochen. Die Spezialisten haben sich
über die Marktsituation ausgetauscht und
Neuheiten auf dem Transportsektor und
dem Büchermarkt vorgestellt. Insbesondere haben die Experten das Thema I-Pad
und seine möglichen Auswirkungen auf
den Markt, sowie mögliche neue Produkte
diskutiert. Außerdem plant Publiship neue

MBS feiert Karneval
Unter dem Motto „in Kölle jebützt“ wurde
bei der MBS Logistics Gruppe in diesem
Jahr ganz besonders gefeiert.
Wolfgang Martin Fritsch alias Jungfrau
Martina, Geschäftsbereichsleiter der MBS
Spedition in Köln, zog seit dem 8. Januar
2010 als Kölner Jungfrau durch die Säle
und absolvierte, gemeinsam mit Prinz
Markus Zehnpfennig und Bauer Hubert
Hornung, bis Aschermittwoch rund 400
Auftritte. Herr Fritsch ist seit 1987 im Kölner Karneval bei der Große Braunsfelder
K.G aktiv und hat sich als Jungfrau im Kölner Dreigestirn einen großenTraum erfüllt.
Kunden waren begeistert, ebenso wie wir.
Auch in unserer Niederlassung in Pirmasens wurde kräftig gefeiert. Hier feiert
man „Fasching“ und keinen “Karneval“,
aber das tat der ausgelassenen Stimmung
keinen Abbruch. Mit bunten Verkleidungen, ein wenig Bier und guter Musik wurde der Faschingstag fröhlich beschunkelt.
Der Besuch des Kölner Dreigestirns im
Hause MBS, sorgte am 03.02.2010 für ordentlich Stimmung. Jungfrau Martina gab
sich mit dem gesamten Gefolge die Ehre
in den Räumlichkeiten der MBS Köln. Zu
diesem Ereignis haben wir natürlich auch
unsere Kunden herzlich eingeladen, die
zahlreich erschienen sind. Das Kriegsdorfer Männerballett gab, unter der Leitung
von Frau Gabriele Manner, seine Tanzeinlage zum Besten und ein leckeres Büffet
rundete den gelungenen Abend ab. Die

particularly celebrated in the MBS Logistics Group this year.
Wolfgang Martin Fritsch alias Virgin Martina, Head of MBS Transport in Cologne,
paraded in more than 400 performances
through the various halls of Cologne - together with Prinz Markus Zehnpfennig and
Bauer Hubert Hornung, until Ash Wednesday. Wolfgang Fritsch has been active in
the Cologne carnival since 1987 with the
group “Grosse Braunsfelder KG and has
fulfilled his big dream to be the Jungfrau
of the Cologne triumvirate.

Also in our office in Pirmasens carnival
was celebrated vigorously.
In Pirmasens „Fasching“ is celebrated and
not a „carnival“, but this did not minder the
lively atmosphere. With colourful costumes, a little bit of beer and good music the
day of Fasching was happily celebrated.
The visit of the Cologne triumvirate at the
premises MBS domicile on February 03,
2010 was a full success. Jungfrau Martina
did the honour together with the entire entourage in the premises of the MBS Cologne. For this event we of course invited our
customers and they appeared numerously. The „Kriegsdorfer Männerballet„ has

„Zugelassener Wirtschaftsbeteiligter – AEO“:
Die zunehmende Globalisierung und die
veränderte internationale Sicherheitslage
haben die Weltzollorganisation (WZO)
veranlasst, mit einem „Framework of
Standards to Secure and Facilitate Global
Trade“ (SAFE) weltweite Rahmenbedingungen für ein modernes und effektives
Risikomanagement in den Zollverwaltungen zu schaffen. Die Europäische
Union hat diese sicherheitspolitischen
Aspekte im April 2005 mit der Änderung
des Zollkodex in europäisches Recht umgesetzt und mit der Veröffentlichung der
Durchführungsvorschriften im Dezember
2006 konkretisiert. Ein wesentliches Element dieser Sicherheitsinitiative ist die
Einführung des Status des „Zugelassenen
Wirtschaftsbeteiligten (AEO - Authorised
Economic Operator)“.
Ziel ist die Absicherung der durchgängigen internationalen Lieferkette („supply
chain“) vom Hersteller einer Ware bis zum
Endverbraucher. Derzeit laufen Verhandlungen mit Drittländern (insbesondere
USA, China, Schweiz), die zu einer weltweiten Anerkennung des Status führen
sollen.
Der Status eines „Zugelassenen Wirtschaftsbeteiligten“ ist in allen Mitgliedstaaten gültig und zeitlich nicht befristet.
Dieser Status kann in folgenden Varianten
erteilt werden:
• AEO-Zertifikat „Zollrechtliche Vereinfachungen“ (AEO C)
• AEO-Zertifikat „Sicherheit“ (AEO S)
• AEO-Zertifikat „Zollrechtliche Vereinfachungen/Sicherheit“ (AEO F).
Nach der letztjährigen Antragstellung
beim für die MBS Logistics Gruppe zuständigen HZA Köln, haben im Rahmen
des Zulassungsverfahrens im ersten
Quartal 2010 die ersten Vor-Ort-Kontrollen
in den MBS-Stationen durch den Zoll stattgefunden. Am 7. April wurde nun auch die
Zentrale in Köln alleine überprüft und die
AEO F-Zertifikate sind den MBS Logistics
Gruppen erteilt worden.
Damit erfüllt die MBS Logistics Gruppe die
Voraussetzungen zur gegenseitigen Anerkennung mit Handelspartnern innerhalb
der „sicheren Lieferkette“.

MBS Logistics Group achieves status of „Authorised
Economic Operator - AEO“:
The increasing globalization and the
changed international security situation
have led the World Customs Organization
(WCO) to the decision to create a global
framework for a modern and effective risk
management in customs administrations
by a „Framework of Standards to Secure
and Facilitate Global Trade (SAFE).
The European Union has implemented
these security aspects in April 2005 with
the amendment of the Code in European
law and made it more precise by the publication of implementing regulations in
December 2006.
A key element of this security initiative is
the introduction of the status of „Authorised Economic Operator (AEO - Authorised Economic Operator)“.
The aim is to secure the integrated International Supply Chain beginning
with the producer to the final consumer.

Negotiations are currently taking place
progressing with third countries (especially with the US, China and Switzerland),
which shall lead to worldwide recognition
of the status.
The status of an “Authorised Economic
Operator” is valid in all member states for
an unlimited period.
This status can be granted in the following
options:
• AEO - certificate „Customs Simplifications“ (AEO C)
• AEO - certificate „Security and Safety“
(AEO S)
• AEO - certificate „Customs Simplifications / Security“ (AEO F).

Cologne was checked and the F-AEO certificates have been issued to the MBS Logistics Group members.
Thus the MBS Logistics Group full fills the
requirements for mutual recognition agreements with trading partners within the

Firma HAST bei MBS Logistics Frankfurt.

Ein junger Journalist (McGregor) stößt

den Irak-Krieg gegründete Spezialeinheit
der US Armee (Clooney, Bridges, Spacey),
deren unkonventionelle Ausbildung sogar so weit reicht, dass sie in der Lage
sind, Tiere mit bloßen Blicken töten zu
können. Längst im Ruhestand sollen sie
noch einmal reaktiviert werden, um dem
Terrorismus erneut mit ihren Fähigkeiten
Einhalt zu gebieten.
Ein herrlich grotesker Film, rasant und
abgefahren, der sich den zahlreichen Mythen um die amerikanischen Spezialeinheiten mit präzisem Sarkasmus widmet
und dabei nur so vor Selbstironie strotzt.
Der Zuschauer ist jedoch gefordert sich
auf den speziellen Humor einzulassen,
wer also historisch korrekte Erzählungen
und logische Zusammenhänge erwartet,
sollte sich auf eine Enttäuschung gefasst
machen.

and borderless, that focuses on the countless myths about the US special units
with precise sarcasm and at the same
time blasting with self-irony. Though it is
demanded of the audience to enjoy the
special humor, not to find them being disappointed by the lack of historical correctness or logic consequences displayed.
