Elastic core yarns have been used for many years primarily in
lingerie and foundation garments, swimwear and hosiery, as
well as sportswear. The outstanding quality characteristics
of Rieter core yarns enable them to be used in many items
of ladies’ and men’s outerwear as well as in leisurewear, thus
following current fashion trends.
Das Rieter Core Garn-System kann auf unseren Ringspinnund auf den Com4®Spin-Maschinen eingesetzt werden. Dies
gibt Ihnen die Chance, dem Modetrend folgend den Markt
der Core Garne in Rieter Qualität zu erschliessen.
Als Ausgangsmaterial dienen eine Elastan- oder Filamentseele
in den Feinheiten von 11 dtex bis 156 dtex, die meist mit gekämmter Baumwolle umsponnen werden. Als weitere Mantelfasern sind auch Micro-Modal oder Viscose möglich.
Elastische Core Garn haben eine Elastanseele, die mit Baumwolle
umsponnen wird. Ausspinnung ist bis Nm/Ne 200/118 möglich.
Elastische TWIN-Garne
Bei diesem Spinnverfahren werden in einem Arbeitsgang zwei
Vorgarne um das Elastanfilament gesponnen, dadurch ergibt
sich ein Spinnzwirn. Gewebe aus TWIN-Garnen haben einen
weicheren Griff als Gewebe aus herkömmlichem Zwirn.
Das TWIN-Verfahren ist im Vergleich zum Zwirnen sehr faserschonend, die Garne sind deshalb weniger haarig. TWIN Garne haben
eine hohe Festigkeit, sind sehr gleichmässig und kettenfest.
The Rieter core yarn system can be used on our ring spinning and Com4®Spin machines. This offers you the opportunity to follow current fashion trends and enter the market of
core yarns in the accustomed Rieter quality.
A spandex or filament core in finenesses of 11 dtex to 156 dtex,
usually surrounded with combed cotton, is used as the starting
material. Micro-Modal or Viscose are other possible covering
fibers.
Elastic Core yarns have an Elastane core which is covered with
cotton. The finest count possible is Nm/Ne 200/118.
Elastic TWIN yarns
In the case of this spinning process two rovings are spun around
the Elastane filament in one process, this produces a spun twist
yarn. Fabrics made from TWIN yarns have a softer touch than
fabrics made from conventional twisted yarn.
The TWIN process is very gentle on the fibres in comparison
with twisting, the yarns are therefore less hairy. TWIN yarns
have a high strength, are very even and can be used warp.

Burn out Yarns
Für hochwertige Ausbrennergarne werden in erster Linie Core
Garn verarbeitet. In der Fläche wird durch den Ausrüster die
Zellulose-Umspinnung gezielt “ausgebrannt”. Dadurch entsteht
ein raffinierter Kontrast von transparentem und blickdichtem
Material.
For high quality burn-out yarns, core yarns are processed in the
first instance. The cellulose is “burnt-out” in the surface in a targeted fashion by the finisher during covering with thread. A stylish contrast of transparent and non opaque materials results.
Eine besondere Spezialität sind Ausbrennergarne mit Flammen­
effekt. Als Seelen für die Ausbrennergarne werden Polyesterund Polyamid-Filamente mit unterschiedlichen Eigenschaften
wie texturiert, hochfest, multifil, monofil glänzend oder halbmatt verwendet.
Neben den klassischen Einsatzgebieten für Ausbrenner werden diese Core Garn zunehmend für Technostoffe verarbeitet.
Weitere Garne für den technischen Einsatz sind im Bereich der
“technischen Garne” zusammengefasst.
A particular speciality are burn-out yarns with flame effect.
Polyester and Polyamide filaments with various characteristics
such as textured, high-tenacity, multiple thread, mono thread,
bright or semi-dull are used as core for the burn-out yarns.
In addition to the classical sectors of use for burn-out yarns
these core yarns are increasingly utilised for the production of
Techno fabrics. Additional yarns for technical use are summarised in the sector of “technical yarns”.

Garne durch den Einsatz von Rohstoffen wie Preox, Twaron oder
Kevlar. Zusätzlich zu ihren klassischen Einsatzgebieten werden
technische Garne zunehmend für Technostoffe eingesetzt.
Auch unter den “Ausbrennergarnen” finden sich Garne für diesen
Bereich.
The yarns are temperature stable, extremly non-tear and strong
through the use of raw materials such as Preox, Twaron or Kevlar.
In addition to their classical sectors of use technical yarns are
increasingly used for Techno fabrics. There are also yarns for
this sector in the “burn-out yarns”.
Mit Core Garnen setzen wir Massstäbe für die Nähfadenherstellung. Die Faserumspinnung schützt die hochfeste Polyester
Filament-Seele vor den beim Nähen auftretenden hohen Temperaturen. Somit werden weit höhere Nähgeschwindigkeiten
erreicht als bei Nähzwirnen.
With Core yarns we set the best standards for the manufacture
of sewing threads. The covering of the fibre protects the high
tenacity Polyester filament core from the high temperatures
which occur during sewing. As a result higher sewing speeds
are achieved than with conventional sewing threads.
