THE SCHOOL
It was founded on October 1st
1962 and named “Luigi Vanvitelli” to honour the famous architect
who built the imposing Royal Palace in Caserta and many other
important works.
It is a technical school for
building surveyors.Students learn
how to design streets, bridges,
buildings, houses, how to restore,
repair and modify building structures etc…
75 teachers work at our school
with 718 students.
It is located in Cava de’Tirrenii in
via Papa Giovanni XXII
and Nocera superiore .

AIMS OF THE PROJECT
COMENIUS
The direct contact with different
cultures helps harmony and collaboration among
students,
(their open mentality) and the
acceptance of the others.
It encourages the students’ motivation and improves language
learning .
Social development will occur
and students will acquire and
improve communication skill
and general knowledge useful
for their personal development
as active European citizens.
AIMS OF THE PROJECT “GREEN
BUILDING”
This project aims at studying different
ways of planning, designing and constructing in Europe. It will start with a
study of the geographical, environmental,
climatic, and historical factors which determine the choice of different architectural styles. In our time building, whether
concerning homes, commercial or public
structures, is facing enormous challenges
due to climate change, scarcity of resources, the necessity of energy saving and
the increasingly occurring natural events
such as earthquakes, enormous rainfalls,
heat waves or storms. Green Building for
us means to look for examples of good
practice in constructing passive and lowenergy houses, space saving buildings,
applying solar architecture and thermal
insulation., and using non toxic renewable materials.
