LRK – tunnel equipment
TRD – TUNNEL VENTILATION DAMPERS
Are made of high-quality stainless steel (1.4571). They stand out through their excellent air
tightness values and corrosion resistance and can be used in temperatures of up to 400°C.
HID – INDUSTRIAL DAMPERS
Are used for general industries. The dampers are standardized and used a modular design.
Extensive Certificates (Fire 4h 1120°C, Operation 400°C) according to international demands.
HDD – SEAL-OFF DAMPERS
Manufactured in heavy gauge mild steel, these welded dampers are installed in fan systems as
separation and shut off dampers. They are suitable for operating temperatures of up to 600°C.

WSG – WEATHER GRID
To protect the fans from snow and dirt, stainless steel wire meshes are used in fresh air inlet
canals.
LKE – AIR DUCT FIXTURES
Diversion vanes are implemented to minimize the flow-loss in duct delays and diversions. The
radius of the curvature, as well as the number and spacing of the diversion vanes are adjusted
to suit the profile in order to guarantee optimal flow-through conditions.
MAD – MOUNTING COVERS
In order to close the openings through which the ventilation systems are brought into the
designated spaces, movable mounting covers are used. These covers are soundproof and
temperature insulated and are manufactured from various materials according to customer
requirements.

DDC – DIFFERENTIAL DAMPER CONTROL
Louver dampers in a heavy design used as control or shutoff dampers for industrial fans. In
application together with a suction box carried out with stepwise controlled damper blades.
DFM – DAMPER FOR MINING
Especially rigid Damper design up to very large dimensions. Constructer appropriate to the
extreme conditions in the mining industry reflected to pollution, durability and ambient
temperatures.
RVC – RADIAL VANE CONTROL
Used as control unit fitted directly to the suction side of industrial fans.
Optimized control made to use the best fan efficiency.

SHIPBUILDING & DRILLING PLATFORM
Use as a fire or smoke dampers with relevant marine approvals.
FIRE SAFETY AND SMOKE CONTROL
The valves are used for air separation of individual sections of ships or as Drilling platforms.
Welded and bolted construction with stainless steel blades and wing-flap side seals to ensure
the requirements of the ship to keep updated. Its rigid form of the leaf is a through-penetrating
avoided by flames.

Industrial fans
The SIROCCO range of industrial fans includes both radial and axial types. Impeller
diameters are up to 3 meters (1.000.000m³/h with pressure up to 25 kPa and operating
temperatures up to 650°C). Application areas: power stations, paper mills, cement and
chemical production industries.
RADIAL FANS
The volume range reaches 1.000.000 m³/h at a steadily rising pressure of up to 25 kPa. They
guarantee a high degree of efficiency, a rugged design and permanent economic operation.
AXIAL FANS
Consist of a rugged, welded housing in which a dynamically balanced impeller (cast aluminum,
synthetic material or welded steel construction) is built-in.

Heat exchangers
FINNED TUBES HEAT EXCHANGER
Air-water heat exchangers for the cooling or the heating of generators, motors and air handling
in power and industrial plants. Tube materials: copper, copper-nickel alloy or stainless steel.
Cooling fin materials: aluminum, copper or stainless steel. The connection between tubes and
fins is established through high pressure enlargement.
BARE-TUBE HEAT EXCHANGER
Bare-tube heat exchangers are predominantly used for the cooling of generation oil, engine
bracket oil and gearing oil. Tube materials: steel, brass, copper-nickel-alloys or stainless steel.
PLATE HEAT EXCHANGER
Plate heat exchangers are constructed according to the counter flow principle, consisting of a
screwed or a hard-soldered stainless steel plate package and are mainly used for cooling
respectively heating water and oil.

AIR PATH CASING
Air path casings are used for air duct and are suitable for mounting air-water heat exchangers.
Own construction or custom-built made of steel sheets, canted, welded and coated.
COOLING UNIT
Cooling units are used to cool the air of generators and motors, consisting of air-water heat
exchangers, air path casing, built-in fans as well as filters and monitoring equipment if needed.
RAILED VEHICLES (train and underground)
Complete units for the cooling of traction motors and power converters of railed vehicles,
consisting of water-air coolers, fans, expansion tanks, pumps, monitoring equipment, incl. pipe
work and wiring.

Air technology for paper and pulp industry
EXTRACTOR HOODS
Extractor hoods for paper machines are dimensioned for a dew point up to 65°C. Construction:
double-walled made of aluminum, isolation with mineral wood. With automatic lift doors on the
operation side.
HEAT RECOVERY PLANTS
In most modern construction, compact assembling with low pressure losses standard is a 3step construction:
1. step: air / air heat exchanger for heating of the drying air
2. step: air / water heat exchanger for production of warm water for the heating of the building
for the machinery (ventilation air)
3. step: for heating of the process water
INCOMING AND EXHAUST AIR PLANTS
Several kinds of Incoming and exhaust air plants for aeration of the machine shops, wet air
suction, aeration of the drying section, aeration and ventilation of the sub plant like electric
plants and control gear rooms, pulper suction

Air technology for paper and pulp industry
WET AIR EXTRACTION SYSTEM
During the paper production, great quantities of fog and saturated wet air is formed, due to the
moved water masses in the wire section of formers. For this purpose, we apply special
eliminators that separate the steam (as condensate) from the air and return the water to the
production process.
PULPER EXTRACTION SYSTEM
To avoid bothersome humid air emission from the pulper in the wet section (as well as
pulpers in the dry section, the yankee, winder and slitter winder section), the air
emission is extracted by radial fans before ist can leave the pulper. The dimensioning
of the duct system, the radial fans and the auxiliary equipment is dependent on
pressure conditions and pulper design (either closed or open design).
PAPER EDGE TRIM REMOVAL SYSTEM
Paper edge trim removal with synchronization to winders for optimal adjustment of
suction output at any cutting speed (by adjusting position of bypass deflector). We also
paper waste management plants as a whole, with radial shredding fans cyclone
separators, conveyor systems, piping for edge trim and paper waste as well as control
systems.
