¡Parece mentira, pero ya han pasado más de
tres años: 40 meses exactamente y parece que
fue ayer cuando salíamos con nuestros primeros
10.000 ejemplares a la calle!
Desde entonces hemos ido creciendo en lectores, en anunciantes y lógicamente nuestra tirada
de periódicos ha seguido aumentando, alcanzando los meses punta hasta 25.000, ejemplares y
manteniéndonos, a pesar de los tiempos difíciles, en un mínimo de 20.000 unidades.
Nuestra principal intención al escribir este editorial, es darles las gracias a nuestros lectores y
anunciantes, por seguirnos con interés mes a
mes, por animarnos con sus e-mails y llamadas
de felicitación o de solicitudes de sus temas preferidos. Esto nos empuja a mejorar cada vez que
salimos con un nuevo número y a seguir creciendo a pesar de las dificultades de los tiempos que
corren.
También queremos recordarles que para su
comodidad, pueden leernos en nuestra web en

donde encontrarán, tanto el periódico del mes
actual como, los de los meses anteriores, en los
que pueden consultar datos o tener acceso a algún número que no alcanzaron a tener en sus
manos.
Procuramos que nuestro periódico llegue a todos los lugares de la isla, por pequeños o apartados que sean, aunque a veces en ciertos lugares
se acaban antes de lo previsto. Estamos representados con cien expositores y unos 500 puntos de pequeña difusión que están al alcance de
todos ustedes gracias a la generosidad y colaboración de todo tipo de comerciantes, empresas y
lugares oficiales a los que no queremos, en este
editorial, dejar de enviarles nuestro agradecimiento por su colaboración.
Esperamos poder seguir cumpliendo años juntos,
para lo que necesitamos su fidelidad, que intentamos ganarnos mes a mes con seriedad y calidad.
It is hard to believe but three years have already gone by: 40 months to be exact and it seems like it was just
yesterday when we brought out our first 10.000 issues to the streets!
Since then we have carried on increasing our numbers of readers, advertisers and obviously the number of
magazine issues, reaching 25.000 during peak months and maintaining a minimum of 20.000 issues during
difficult times. The main objective of this editorial is to thank our readers and advertisers for following us every
month, keeping us motivated with their e-mails and calls of congratulations and requests for their favourite
subjects. This is what drives us to improve with every issue that comes out and to keep on growing despite the
difficult present times.
We also wanted to remind you that for your convenience, you can also access the magazine on the internet on our

You can search for information or access previous issues that you may not have been able to get a hard copy of.
We ensure that our magazine gets everywhere on the island, even in small and remote places, although we
may run out earlier than expected in some areas. We are represented with one hundred exhibitors and about
500 points of small diffusion that are available thanks to the generosity and collaboration of all kinds of shop
keepers, companies and official venues to whom we wish extend our thanks for their collaboration.

Es ist unglaublich, dass schon mehr als drei Jahre vergangen sind: genau 40 Monate und es scheint, als ob
unsere ersten 10.000 Exemplare gestern erschienen sind!
Seitdem haben wir immer mehr Leser und Anzeigenkunden gewonnen und haben dementsprechend eine
viel größere Auflage. In einigen Monaten sind es sogar 25.000 Exemplare, und trotz der schwierigen Lage sind
es immer mindestens 20.000 Hefte.
Wir möchten uns in diesem Leitartikel bei unsern Lesern und unseren Anzeigenkunden dafür bedanken,
dass Sie uns jeden Monat lesen, uns mit Ihren E-Mails und Anrufen Mut machen, in denen Sie sich bei uns
bedanken oder uns um Themen bitten, die Sie ganz besonders interessieren. Dies spornt uns an, uns immer
mehr zu verbessern und den schwierigen Zeiten zum Trotz zu wachsen.

Firman el acuerdo del proyecto artístico en
el Mirador de Los Canarios

El artista canario Pepe Dámaso, Premio Canarias de
Bellas Artes y reciente ‘Premio Betancuria Capital histórica de Canarias’ presentó recientemente la maqueta para la realización del proyecto del Mirador del barranco de Los Canarios (Pájara), durante el transcurso
del acto de firma del convenio de colaboración entre el
Cabildo de Fuerteventura y la propiedad de los terrenos, para posibilitar la realización de dicha obra.
El acuerdo establece la cesión de los terrenos afectados al Cabildo, incluyendo no solo la superficie donde se construirá el mirador, sino la carretera de acceso
que sube por el valle y la plataforma de recepción de
visitantes al comienzo del valle y desde la que saldrá
una guagua o vehículo colectivo que será el encargado
de subir a los visitantes. También establece la construcción de un acceso a la autovía del sur en la zona,
facilitando de esta manera llegada de visitantes.
La idea original surgió del fallecido Calixto Alberto,
que fue quien en su momento hizo la carretera de
acceso y buscó el lugar idóneo, no solo para el Mirador sino para la serie de los Héroes Atlánticos del artista Pepe Dámaso, que se ubicarán en este valle.
El objetivo de este Proyecto es avanzar en la relación
arte y naturaleza, haciéndola además a partir de una
creación artística singular. Para ello se parte de una base
fundamental, el Mirador del Valle de los Canarios, ubicado en plena península de Jandía y con vistas sobre el
arco de Cofete y la costa de Sotavento. El Barranco de
los Canarios es uno de los valles mejor conservados del
sur de Fuerteventura que destaca por su belleza.
El contenido artístico no sólo incluye el diseño y construcción del Mirador de los Canarios, sino también el
compromiso del artista Pepe Dámaso de ubicar en el
mismo su serie denominada ‘Héroes Atlánticos’. El

Der kanarische Künstler Pepe Dámaso, der in der
Vergangenheit den Kanarischer Preis der schönen
Künste und kürzlich den „Preis Betancuria historische
Hauptstadt der Kanaren» erhalten hat, präsentierte vor
kurzem das Modell für die Ausführung des Projektes
am Aussichtspunkt des „Barranco de Los Canarios»
(Pájara). Er tat dies beim Akt der Unterzeichnung des
Kooperationsabkommens zwischen dem Cabildo von
Fuerteventura und den Besitzern des betroffenen
Grundstückes, wodurch die Realisierung dieses
Projektes ermöglicht werden soll.
In dem Abkommen wird festgesetzt, dass die betroffenen
Gelände an den Cabildo abgetreten werden, und zwar nicht
nur die Fläche, auf die der Aussichtspunkt gebaut wird,
sondern auch die Zufahrtsstraße, die das Tal heraufführt,
und die Plattform am Anfang des Tales, wo die Besucher
empfangen werden und von der aus ein Bus oder ein
kollektives Fahrzeug die Besucher hoch bringen wird. Auch
der Bau einer Zufahrt zur Schnellstraße des Südens wird
in diesem Abkommen festgesetzt, so dass es für die
Besucher leichter ist, diesen Ort zu erreichen.
Die ursprüngliche Idee stammt von dem
verstorbenen Calixto Alberto, der damals die
Zufahrtstraße konstruierte und nicht nur den
geeigneten Ort für den Aussichtspunkt suchte, sondern
auch für die atlantischen Helden des Künstlers Pepe
Dámaso, die in diesem Tal aufgestellt werden.
Im Rahmen des Projektes soll durch dieses
einzigartige Kunstwerk ein Fortschritt in der Beziehung
zwischen Kunst und Natur gemacht werden. Die Basis
für dafür ist der Aussichtspunkt des „Valle de los Canarios» auf der Halbinsel von Jandía. Von dort aus hat man
einen Ausblick über den „Arco von Cofete» und die Küste
von Sotavento. Der „Barranco de los Canarios» ist eines
der am besten erhaltenen Täler von Fuerteventura und
zeichnet sich durch seine große Schönheit aus.
Zu dem künstlerischen Inhalt gehören nicht nur der
Entwurf und der Bau des Aussichtspunktes der Kanaren,
sondern auch die Verpflichtung des Künstlers Pepe Dámaso, seine Serie „atlantische Helden» dort aufzustellen.
Der Entwurf von Pepe Dámaso für den „Aussichtspunkt
der Kanaren» entstand aus der künstlerischen
Interpretation einer Schnecke, in die man hinein gehen
kann und in deren Innern es Kunstausstellungen und
ein Besucherzentrum geben wird. Am oberen Ende der
Schnecke wird ein großes Glasfenster über dem „Arco
de Cofete» gebaut, wodurch die Besucher einen
einzigartigen Ausblick auf die Landschaft bekommen.

La caracola culmina con una enorme cristalera sobre el arco de Cofete que permite al visitante tener una vista singular sobre este entorno natural.

The Canarian artist Pepe Dámaso, who received the
Canarian Fine Arts Award and more recently the «Betancuria, Historic Capital of the Canaries award»
presented the project model for Mirador del Barranco
de los Canarios (Pájara), during the event organised
for the signature of the collaboration agreement
between Fuerteventura’s Cabildo and the land owners.
The agreement establishes the cession of the land
to the Cabildo, including not only the plot where the
Mirador will be built but also the access road that
travels through the valley where a bus or collective
vehicle will travel up and down to bring visitors to and
from the Mirador. It also includes the construction of
an access to the motorway in the southern area making
access easier for visitors.
The original idea came from deceased Calixto Alberto, who built the access road in the first place and
looked for the best suited site, not only for the Mirador
but also for the series of the Heroes of the Atlantic of
Pepe Dámaso that will also be situated in this valley.
The objective of this Project is to promote the
relationship between art and nature. It starts from a
fundamental base which is the Mirador of Valle de los
Canarios, situated in the middle of the Jandía
Peninsula and benefits from views of Cofete and the
Sotavento coast. Barranco de los Canarios is one of
the best preserved and most beautiful valleys in the
south of Fuerteventura.
The artistic content is not purely about design and
construction of the Mirador, but also about the artist
Pepe Dámaso’s compromise to exhibit his series of
«Heroes of the Atlantic». Pepe Dámaso’s design for the
«Mirador de los Canarios» was developed from an
artistic interpretation of a sea shell that will host art
exhibitions. An enormous conservatory will be built on
top of the sea shell structure looking over Cofete and
giving visitors a full view of this stunning natural setting.

Cofete acoge el enterramiento de 800
huevos de tortuga boba
Técnicos de la Universidad de Las Palmas y del Instituto Canario de Ciencias Marinas se encargaron, el
pasado mes, de trasladar desde Boavista (Cabo Verde) a Canarias una partida de 1.000 huevos de esta
especie, de la cual 800 tendrán como destino la costa majorera para su nidificación y 200 se enviarán al
Instituto Canario de Ciencias Marinas en Taliarte, en
Gran Canaria, para su incubación controlada.
Los 800 huevos recién embrionados, que fueron
enterrados para su incubación natural y posterior liberación, fueron trasladados en helicóptero hasta el
lugar por representantes del Ejecutivo canario y de la
corporación majorera. Estos 800 ejemplares se enterraron simulando las características de 10 nidos de
tortuga boba, y serán protegidos con cercados para
evitar depredación y vigilados de forma continua hasta su eclosión prevista para finales de septiembre.
El Gobierno de Cabo Verde, el Ejecutivo de Canarias, el Cabildo de Fuerteventura y la Universidad de
Las Palmas de Gran Canaria trabajan desde hace 14
años para la recuperación de este recurso natural
perdido en las islas hace casi 3 siglos.
La reintroducción de esta especie en Canarias, que
está incluida en el Catálogo Nacional de Especies
Amenazadas en la categoría ‘de interés especial’ y en
el Catálogo de Especies Amenazadas de Canarias en
la de ‘en peligro de extinción’, es un paso fundamental para su conservación a nivel mundial. No obstante, el proyecto ejecutado por las instituciones, comenzará a dar resultados cuando las crías nacidas en las
Islas regresen para poner sus huevos.

Unión Europea, figura en el Convenio relativo a la conservación de la vida silvestre y el medio natural en
Europa (Convenio de Berna); en la convención sobre

2001 por la que se aprueba la lista de lugares de importancia comunitaria con respecto a la región biogeográfica macaronésica, se incluyen Lugares de Interés Comunitarios destinados a la conservación de la tortuga boba
en Canarias. Estos lugares son Mar de Las Calmas, en El
Hierro; Franja Marina de Fuencaliente, en La Palma; Franja marina de Santiago-Valle Gran Rey, en La Gomera;
Sebadales del sur de Tenerife, en Tenerife; Bahía de Gando, Área marina de La Isleta, Franja marina de Mogán y
Sebadales de Playa del Inglés, en Gran Canaria; y finalmente, Cueva de Lobos, Sebadales de Corralejo y Playa
de Sotavento de Jandía, en Fuerteventura.

Threatened Species in the «special Interest» category

Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora
(CITES); in the (EU) Council Regulations 338/1997, of
9th December 1996, relating to the protection of fauna and flora wild species through the control of their
commercialisation; in the EU/92/93 Council Directive,
of 21st May regarding the preservation of natural
habitat and wild flora and fauna (Habitats’ Directive).

Schritt für ihren Erhalt auf der ganzen Welt. Trotzdem
wird man die Ergebnisse dieses Projektes, das von den
Institutionen durchgeführt wird, erst sehen, wenn die
auf den Inseln geborenen Schildkröten zur Eiablage
zurückkehren.
Die unechte Karettschildkröte wird in folgenden von

Arten und deren Lebensraum in Europa (Konvention

muss (Konvention von Bonn), in der Konvention über
den internationalen Handel mit bedrohten Arten der
wilden Flora und Fauna (CITES), der Vorschrift (CE)
338/1997 des Rates vom 9. Dezember 1996 über
den Schutz der wilden Fauna und Flora durch die
Kontrolle des Handels mit dieser und in der Vorschrift
92/43/CEE des Rates vom 21. Mai über den Erhalt
der natürlichen Lebensräume und der wilden Flora und
Fauna (Vorschrift über Lebensräume).

Gran Tarajal se vuelca con el torneo de

El colorido que exhibieron el pasado mes de agosto las
pobladas gradas instaladas en la playa de Gran Tarajal
fue sin duda una de las notas positivas que se vivió durante de la segunda jornada de la cuarta prueba del calendario del XIV Campeonato de Canarias de fútbol playa.
El calor y el viento no fueron impedimentos para que
los jugadores dieran muestras de su buen quehacer
futbolístico en la playa de Gran Tarajal. Además, los aficionados se quedaron alucinados con las actuaciones
de las animadoras de este Campeonato de Canarias y
con las distintas actividades que se fueron sucediendo
cada vez que se producía un paréntesis en la cancha.
El prestigioso Campeonato de Canarias contó en esta
edición con el apoyo de varios auspiciadores comerciales, del Gobierno de Canarias (a través de la Consejería
de Sanidad, de la Dirección General de Deportes y de
la Fundación Canaria para la Prevención e Investigación de las Drogodependecias (Funcapid).
También contó con la colaboración de los cabildos
de aquellas islas que visita el circuito en el presente
año 2009 (Gran Canaria, Lanzarote y Fuerteventura),
además de los ayuntamientos de Ingenio, Telde, Arrecife, Tuineje y San Bartolomé de Tirajana, las sedes que
figuran en el calendario de la decimocuarta edición.

Foundation for the Prevention and Investigation of Drug
Addictions (Funcapid).

kanarischen Stiftung für Vorbeugung und Erforschung
von Drogensucht (Funcapid) unterstützt.
Das Fußballturnier wurde auch von den Cabildos der
anderen Inseln unterstützt, die in diesem Jahr 2009

Más de un centenar de jóvenes participan
en las actividades deportivas de El Castillo
Las actividades para niños y jóvenes que organizan
las concejalías de Turismo, Playas, y Deportes del Ayuntamiento de Antigua todos los viernes en El Castillo,
mantienen un alto nivel de participación de jóvenes y
niños que protagonizan talleres, partidos con tableros gigantes sobre la arena, partidos de fútbol playa,
voley playa, o juegos en los hinchables instalados.
Una batucada pasea las calles del Castillo a primera hora de la mañana para avisar a familias, jóvenes,
y turistas de visita en la zona, del comienzo de las
actividades deportivas, la música, y juegos en las dos
playas más próximas.
Cada viernes se alternan las actividades infantiles y
juveniles con las actividades deportivas, entre las Playas de El Castillo y La Guirra, ofreciendo juegos,
gincanas, castillos hinchables, casetas de la espuma,
talleres de pintura, maquillaje, o partidas sobre tableros gigantes. Entre las actividades deportivas, destacan los campeonatos y torneos de equipos improvisados de fútbol o voley playa, petanca, o carreras.

Over one hundred youths
An den Aktivitäten für Kinder und Jugendliche, die
von den Ämtern für Tourismus, Strände und Sport der participate in
Gemeinde von Antigua jeden Freitag in El Castillo
organisiert werden, nehmen zahlreiche Jugendliche El Castillo’s sports
und Kinder teil. Zu diesen Aktivitäten gehören Kurse,
Spiele auf riesengroßen Spielbrettern auf Sand,
Strandfußall- und Volleyballspiele und Spiele an den activities
dort eingerichteten aufblasbaren Installationen.
Früh morgens kommt eine Batucada durch die
Straßen von Castillo, um die Familien, die Jugendlichen
und die Touristen, die diese Gegend besuchen, auf
die sportlichen Aktivitäten, die Musikveranstaltungen
und die Spiele aufmerksam zu machen, die an den
beiden nächsten Stränden stattfinden.
Jeden Freitag finden die Aktivitäten für Kinder und
Jugendliche oder die sportlichen Aktivitäten an den
Stränden von El Castillo und La Guirra statt. Dort gibt es
Spiele, Gymkhanas, aufblasbare Schlösser, Häuschen
aus Schaumstoff, Mal- und Schminkkurse und Spiele auf
gigantischen Spielbrettern. Unter den sportlichen
Aktivitäten müssen vor allem die Meisterschaften und
Turniere der spontan zusammengestellten Fußball-,
Volleyball-und Bocciamannschaften und Wettläufe
hervorgehoben werden.

organised by the Tourism, Beaches and Sports’ Council
from Antigua’s Ayuntamiento every Friday in El Castillo, are still very popular amongst children and
teenagers who participate in workshops, giant board
games on sand, beach football matches, beach volley
or inflatable games.
A group goes round the streets of El Castillo first thing
in the morning to inform families, teenagers and tourists
visiting the area of the day’s sports’ activities, music
and games that take place on the two nearest beaches.
Every Friday children’s activities alternate between the
Beaches of El Castillo and La Guirra offering games,
rallies, inflatable castles, painting workshops, face
painting, or giant sand board games. Those activities also
include championships and tournaments with improvised
teams for beach football or volley, Pétanque or races.

Solange Pereira, nacida en Portugal pero residente
desde muy pequeña en Puerto del Rosario, obtuvo
recientemente la Medalla de Oro en el Campeonato
de España Promesa Sub-23. E cuanto a Luz Marina
Pérez, se proclamó brillantemente subcampeona de
España en lanzamiento de martillo con una marca de
51,79 metros.

Fuerteventura’s Cabildo’s Sports’ Council and the
Councillors of Tuineje and Puerto del Rosario recently
rewarded the merits and efforts of the athletes Solange
Pereira and Luz Marina Pérez during a ceremony
organised in Fuerteventura’s Cabildo’s Congress Centre.
Solange Pereira, born in Portugal but who has lived
in Puerto del Rosario from a very young age, recently
obtained the Gold Medal in the Spanish Championship
in the up-and-coming talent under-23 category of the
1500 metre race. And Luz Marina Pérez brilliantly
became Spain’s sub-champion in the hammer throw
with 51,79 metres.

becoming Fuerteventura’s Gran Slam Champion in the
Slalom 42 category.
The French athlete was the best at adapting to wind
changes, displaying his strong physique on his
windsurfing board. He produced an amazing show in
Fuerteventura creating new windsurfing enthusiasts,
as he does anywhere he goes.

Origen del Queso Majorero
El Cabildo de Fuerteventura firmó, a primeros del
pasado mes de agosto, acuerdos de colaboración con
la Denominación de Origen del Queso Majorero y la cooperativa ‘Agricultores de Fuerteventura para el fomento de la producción hortícola para el mercado interior’.
El convenio con la D.O. ‘Queso Majorero’ está destinado a proporcionar colaboración técnica desde el
Cabildo para el desarrollo de los trabajos de la Denominación de Origen, así como la aportación de 50.000
euros con los que poder contribuir a costear el funcio-

Guarantee of Origin that comes with its control number.
In 2008 the Majorero Cheese obtained prizes for its
quality at the «World Cheese Awards» in London in the
«Foodprocessing Awards» organised by the Ministry and
in «Agrocanarias».
In early August, Fuerteventura’s Cabildo signed
collaboration agreements for the Majorero Cheese
Denomination of Guarantee of Origin and the
cooperative of «Fuerteventura Farmers for the
promotion of horticultural production on the Interior
Market».
The Majorero Cheese Denomination of Guarantee
of Origin Agreement aims to provide technical
collaboration from the Cabildo for the development the
activity of Guarantee of Origin and an input of 50.000
euros to contribute with the daily working costs. Majorero Cheese Denomination of Guarantee of Origin
reached 117.262 units last year. This represents
341.842 kilos and 2.447.414 litres of milk, according
to the statistics of the Majorero Cheese Regulating
Council that supervises and manages the farms that
are registered with this quality certification and
guarantees consumers the hygiene and sanitary
characteristics of the products.
The Denomination of Guarantee of Origin consists
of about twenty cheese factories that produce cheese
according to their quality characteristics, that come
from 49 livestock farms all over the island and
represent 19.000 goats.
As for livestock farms, the Regulation Council for
Majorero Cheese establishes requirements in order to
be able to qualify for the Denomination of Guarantee
of Origin and goats have to be of Majorero origins, be
registered and their premisses and operations must
comply with a series of hygiene and sanitary norms.

Herkunftsbezeichnung betrugen im vergangenen Jahr

El queso majorero fue el primer queso de Canarias
que obtuvo la denominación de origen y el primero de
leche de cabra de España con esta certificación de
calidad. Los productos avalados por el Consejo Regulador se reconocen en el mercado por llevar la etiqueta comercial del productor y el logotipo de la denominación de origen junto a un número de control. Durante el 2008 el Queso Majorero obtuvo premios de reconocimiento a su calidad en los ‘World Cheese Awards’

diese Qualitätskennzeichnung erhielt. Die Produzenten,
die von dem Regulierungsrat anerkannt sind, kann man
daran erkennen, dass sie das Etikett des Produzenten
und das Logo der Herkunftsbezeichnung mit einer
Kontrollnummer tragen. 2008 erhielt der Käse aus Fuerteventura bei den „World Cheese Awards» in London,

«Las emergencias hay que solucionarlas,
no protagonizarlas»

En esta época estival, donde tantos incendios se
producen a lo largo de toda nuestra geografía, los bomberos adquieren una predominante importancia y por
ello y dado la reciente creación de la Asociación Majorera de Bomberos Profesionales, hemos querido que
sus cabezas visibles hablen para nuestros lectores.
Estamos con los bomberos profesionales Eduardo
Bautista, sargento jefe y Benjamín Macho, cabo coordinador, del Servicio de Bomberos del Ayuntamiento
de Pájara y secretario y presidente respectivamente
de la mencionada asociación.
¿Cómo funcionan los cuerpos de bomberos en la
isla?
Eduardo: Aunque nosotros pensamos que las emergencias en un ámbito pequeño, como es Fuerteventura, debieran solucionarse a nivel insular, lo cierto es
que por el momento se solucionan a nivel local. Por lo
tanto mientras que hay ayuntamientos que tienen un
cuerpo de bomberos profesional mas completo, otros
por su menor economía, no cuentan con el o es muy
escaso.

Eduardo: El servicio de Pájara esta externalizado,
atendemos todas las emergencias del municipio a través de una empresa que se llama «Emergencias y comunidad» con quién mantiene un contrato de 15 años.
Contamos con 18 bomberos profesionales, 20
socorristas, tres ambulancias para transporte sanitario, y cuatro camiones.
¿Genera muchos servicios este municipio?
Eduardo: Atendemos una media de 900 servicios al
año sólo de bomberos, de los cuales unos 300 son
servicios sanitarios de ambulancias apoyando las urgencias sanitarias que con sus propios medios serían
insuficientes. Esto apar te de los servicios de
socorrismo.
¿Es habitual que hagan servicios de ambulancia
los cuerpos de bomberos?
Eduardo: No, pero este Ayuntamiento, consciente de
las carencias que había en la zona, completó el contrato con esta empresa incluyendo las ambulancias
para poder dar y mejorar este servicio.
También existen voluntarios ¿No es así?
Eduardo: Sí, hay voluntarios en todos los ayuntamientos, que son de gran ayuda, pero se necesitan
bomberos profesionales que estén siempre que se les
requiera porque, como es lógico, los voluntarios pueden no estar disponibles en ese momento. Además la
preparación no es igual, que en los casos de los profesionales.
Benjamín: Lo sorprendente que, desde el Cabildo,
las dotaciones de material que se distribuyen a los
ayuntamientos, van en muchas ocasiones, más dirigidas a las asociaciones de voluntarios que a los propios cuerpos de bomberos. En nuestro caso, con la
excusa de que es un servicio externalizado, olvidan
que también es municipal y que cualquier carencia
que tengamos se reflejará en nuestros servicios.
Posiblemente piensen que al ser una empresa
particular debe ser ella la que les provea…
Eduardo: Sí, pero en el contrato de la empresa consta
que todo el material que tenga el cuerpo de bomberos
quedara aquí, al terminar el contrato, y además si nos
dotarán del material que pudiéramos requerir siempre constaría a nombre del Ayuntamiento, no de la
empresa.
Renovar ciertos materiales que ya tienen varios años
de uso es importante; no tenemos importantes carencias, pero si nos gustaría que contasen con nosotros y
nos preguntasen cuales son nuestras necesidades.
¿Con qué motivo se ha creado la Asociación
Majorera de Bomberos Profesionales?
Benjamín: Necesitamos un interlocutor directo que
exponga y negocie la situación de los bomberos de la
isla. Nos hemos unido los tres parques profesionales
de la isla y queremos luchar porque ayuntamientos
menos preparados como el de Tuineje tengan también su parque profesional. La isla esta creciendo
mucho, cada vez hay más coches y más emergencias
y no es bueno esperar a los problemas para solucionar las cosas.
Pensamos que la actuación de los cuerpos de bomberos de la isla debe ser tratada conjuntamente como
un solo órgano y ser competencia del Cabildo igual que
se hace ya en otras islas y hasta ahora lo que se hace
es dotar de dinero o materiales a los distintos ayuntamientos para que estos lo administren como crean.
Por ejemplo, Protección Civil tiene un local con una
cantidad de material que llegará un día que esté caducado, sin haber pasado nunca por las manos de un
bombero, que somos los que los necesitamos.
Eduardo: Yo creo que en la actualidad tanto el Cabildo, como el Consejero Guillermo Concepción y también el responsable Frank Torres, están con la idea de
que el cuerpo de bomberos tiene que ser un servicio
insular, pero creo que discrepamos en la fórmula. Ellos
piensan en un servicio insular de voluntarios y creemos que la fórmula tiene que potenciar primero el
servicio insular profesional que somos los que tendremos que estar para solucionar las cosas.
Estamos tramitando desde la Asociación distintas
reuniones con los cargos responsables para poder llegar a encontrar la fórmula correcta para todos.
Esto es preocupante visto desde el lado del
ciudadano…
Benjamín: Yo mismo soy uno de los que se sienten
preocupados, tengo familia y quiero que en cualquier
emergencia reciban la mejor atención que pueda necesitar y eso, desde luego, son los bomberos profesionales quienes pueden ofrecerlo, sin menospreciar la
valiosa ayuda del voluntariado. Cuando tenemos una
urgencia médica todos queremos que nos atienda el
médico más cualificado, no el de menos experiencia,
pues igual pasa cuando estamos ante un accidente,
un fuego o cualquier otra emergencia.
Nos gustaría que nos explicasen la diferencia
entre un bombero profesional y un voluntario…
Benjamín: La diferencia es muy grande. En cada
ayuntamiento puede haber diferencias en las exigencias para ser bombero, pero en todos los casos hay
pruebas de selección mínimas. Son pruebas físicas y
psicotécnicas, unos tipos de rasgos característicos,
además de conocimientos para saber manejar material. Es una profesión multisectorial, que nos obliga a
tener conocimientos de sanidad para emergencias,
saber defendernos en el agua, en un accidente de
coches, en un incendio, en un derrumbamiento, en
un rescate en altura, en un barranco, en un hundimiento de tierra, etc. y tener una capacidad de decisión en los momentos de mayor presión psicológica.
¿Lleva implícito un cierto amor al riesgo?
Benjamín: Desde luego es totalmente vocacional, no
es amor al riesgo, pero si capacidad para aceptarlo
cuando llega y mantener la cabeza fría para actuar. Intentamos minimizar el riesgo, no somos superhombres,
pero siempre en la vida de un bombero hay al menos
una vez en que te toca jugarte la vida. Al fin y al cabo
cuando todos corren en un sentido el bombero corre
en dirección contraria, hacia el problema.
Eso confirma la teoría de que no todo el mundo
puede ser bombero. ¿Qué otras actividades tiene
esta nueva asociación de bomberos?
Benjamín: A veces, como en el caso del reciente incendio de La Palma, cuando se preparó un dispositivo
de ayuda urgente y a pesar de la rapidez y coordinación
de los parques de bomberos de Fuerteventura, se nos
tuvo retenidos 24 horas antes de salir hacia el incendio
por motivos injustificados, por lo que estamos pidiendo las explicaciones oportunas a quien corresponda.
Fueron 24 horas de ayuda que pudieron haber evitado algunas pérdidas materiales importantes. Con ese
motivo emitimos en su momento una nota de prensa
denunciando la secuencia de despropósitos ocurridos.
Tenemos un lema «las emergencias hay que solucionarlas, no protagonizarlas», hay demasiada gente
que solo quiere salir en las fotos; los bomberos queremos solucionar los problemas.

«We are here to deals with emergencies,
not to be stars»
During this summer season, when so many fires
occur all over the territory, fire fighters are very
important and since the Majorero Association of
Professional Fire Fighters has recently been created,
we took this opportunity to get some of them to tell us
a bit more.
We are with Eduardo Bautista and Benjamin Macho
two fire fighters from the Ayuntamiento of Pájara and
respectively Secretary and President of the above
mentioned association.
How do Fire Fighter services work on the island?
Eduardo: Although some feel that emergencies in
Fuerteventura are not a major priority, they should be
dealt with on an island level, rather than on a local
level as it is now. Which means that some Ayuntamientos have more complete professional fire fighters
teams while others with a smaller budget only have
the bare minimum.
Tell us about your team in Pájara...
Eduardo: The service in Pájara is externalised, we
attend all emergencies in the municipality through a
company that is called «Emergencies and Community»
who has signed a 15 year contract. We are 18
professional fire fighters, 20 first-aiders, three
ambulances for rescue transport and four trucks.
Are there many interventions in this municipality?
Eduardo: On average we have about 900
interventions per year purely for fire fighters, of which
300 are ambulance interventions to bring support to
emergencies when their own services are not
sufficient. This does not include first aid interventions.
Is it the norm for fire fighters to intervene as
ambulance services?
Eduardo: No, but this Ayuntamiento, that is
conscious of the lack of ambulances in the area,
completed the contract with « Emergencies and
Community» by including the ambulances in order to
improve the service.
Are there volunteers as well?
Eduardo: Yes, there are volunteers in every Ayuntamiento, they are of great help, but we need professional
fire fighters that are always available when they are
needed, which is logical, as volunteers may not be
available at that very moment. Furthermore, their
training is not the same as that of professionals.
Benjamin: What is surprising is that in most cases,
the equipment that Cabildos distributes to Ayuntamientos tends to be then redirected towards volunteers
associations rather than to the actual fire fighting
forces. In our case, taking as an excuse that we are an
externalised services, they forget that we are also a
municipal service and that any lack of equipment will
affect our services.
They may feel that since it is a private business, it
should be up to that business to provide the force
with equipment.
Eduardo: Yes, but their contract with the business
says that the equipment of the fire fighting force will
stay here until the end of the contract and that all
equipment provided will remain the property of the
Ayuntamiento, not of the business. Renewing some
equipment that is already a few years old is important;
we don’t have any major shortages, but we would like
to be contacted and asked about our needs.
What motivated the creation of the Majorero
Association of Professional Fire Fighters?
Benjamin: We need a direct negotiator who can explain
and negotiate the situation of the island’s fire fighters.
All three professional teams of the island got together to
fight for Ayuntamientos that are less equipped, like that
of Tuineje, to have their professional teams also. The
island is growing a lot, there are more and more cars and
emergencies, we shouldn’t wait for problems to arise in
order to start sorting everything out.
We believe that fire fighters interventions on the island
should be dealt with jointly as one organisation and
depend from the Cabildo like it is done on other islands.
At present the funds or equipment is given to the Ayuntamientos who then distribute them as they see fit.
For example, Civil Protection has a local that contains
equipment that will eventually expire and will have
never been touched by a fire fighter, whereas we are
the ones who need it.
Eduardo: I think that at present the Cabildo, the
Councillor, Guillermo Concepción, and also the manager, Frank Torres, all agree that fire fighting services
should be organised on island level but we still have
different ideas about the formula. They are aiming
more towards an island service of volunteers and we
believe that the formula must improve professional
services first as we are the ones who have to deal with
emergencies.
With the Association we have organised meetings
with the various concerned parties in order to reach
the formula that will suit everyone.
This is quite a worry looking at it from the citizens’
point of view...
Benjamin: I am one of those who is concerned, I
have a family and in any case of emergency I wish for
them to get the best service that they require and that
means from professional fire fighters, not
underestimating the valuable help from volunteers.
When we have a medical emergency we all want the
best qualified doctor to take care of us, not the least
experienced one, well it is the same when we deal with
an accident, a fire or any other emergency.
Could you please explain to us the difference
between a professional fire fighter and a
volunteer...
Benjamin: The difference is great. In every Ayuntamiento there can be different requirements to become a fire
fighter, but in every case there are tests with minimum
requirements. They are physical and psychotechnical
tests, evaluation of characteristics, as well as knowledge
on how to use the equipment. This is a multisectorial
profession that requires for us to have health and safety
knowledge for emergencies, to know how to deal with
water emergencies, road accidents, fires, structures
caving in, rescues in altitude, in a barranco, land
subsidence, etc. and have the ability to make decisions
in the most psychologically stressful moments.
Does this imply some kind of passion for risk?
Benjamin: It is of course completely vocational, it is
not passion for risk but the ability to accept it when it
comes and keep a cool head in order to act. We try to
minimise risks, we are not super-humans but in the
life of a fire fighter on at least one occasion you will
have to risk your life. In fact when everyone is running
in one direction, the fire fighter is running in the
opposite one, toward the problem.
Well, this confirms the theory that we cannot all be
fire fighters. What other activities does this new
fire fighter’s association take care of?
Benjamin: Sometimes, like during a recent fire in la
Palma, when we prepared an emergency help
intervention and despite the speed and coordination
of Fuerteventura’s fire fighter teams, we were delayed
24 hours before being able to get to the fire for no
reason that can be justified, which is why we are asking
for explanations from the concerned parties.
24 hours were lost when we could have helped and
avoided important material losses. This is why we
published a note in the media that reported the series
of absurdities that occurred.
We have a slogan «We are here to deal with
emergencies, not to be stars», there are too many
people who only want to be on pictures; we, fire fighters
are here to solve problems.

«Wir müssen bei Notfällen Lösungen
finden und nicht die Hauptrolle spielen»
Im Sommer gibt es viele Brände in unserem ganzen
Land und die Feuerwehr wird dann besonders wichtig.
Aus diesem Grund und weil kürzlich der Verband der
professionellen Feuerwehrleute von Fuerteventura
gegründet wurde, wollten wir ihre Vertreter in unserer
Zeitschrift zu Wort kommen lassen.
Wir unterhalten uns mit Eduardo Bautista und
Benjamin Macho. Beide sind professionelle
Feuerwehrmänner der Gemeinde von Pájara und
außerdem Sekretär und Vorsitzender des genannten
Verbandes.
Wie funktioniert der Feuerwehr auf der Insel?
Eduardo: Obwohl wir nur an Notfälle in einem kleinen
Gebiet wie Fuerteventura denken, müssten diese auf
Insel-Ebene gelöst werden und nicht auf örtlicher
Ebene, wie es zurzeit geschieht. Deshalb benötigen
die Gemeinden eine vollständigere professionelle
Feuerwehr. Einige haben aus finanziellen Gründen gar
keine oder eine sehr kleine.
Erzählen Sie uns bitte etwas über die Feuerwehr
von Pájara…
Eduardo: Der Feuerwehrdienst von Pájara wird von
einem Unternehmen der Gemeinde organisiert, das
„Emergencias y comunidad» heißt und mit dem ein
Vertrag über 15 Jahre abgeschlossen worden ist. Dieses Unternehmen schickt uns zu allen Notfällen. Wir
haben 18 professionelle Feuerwehrleute, 20
Lebensretter, drei Krankenwagen für den
Krankentransport und vier Wagen.
Haben Sie in dieser Gemeinde viele Einsätze?
Eduardo: Wir haben im Jahr ungefähr 900
Feuerwehreinsätze, 300 davon sind Einsätze der
Krankenwagen, die den Notdienst der Gemeinde
unterstützen, da dessen eigene Mittel nicht
ausreichen. Dazu kommt der Rettungsdienst.
Ist es üblich, dass die Feuerwehreinheiten für den
Einsatz von Krankenwagen zuständig sind?
Eduardo: Nein, aber diese Gemeinde war sich dem
Mangel an Mitteln in dieser Gegend bewusst und
ergänzte den Vertrag mit dem erwähnten
Unternehmen, um diese Leistung zu verbessern.
Es gibt auch Freiwillige, oder nicht?
Eduardo: Ja, in allen Gemeinden gibt es Freiwillige,
die eine große Hilfe sind, aber es werden professionelle
Feuerwehrleute gebraucht, die immer bereit stehen,
wenn sie gerufen werden. Logischerweise sind die
Freiwilligen nicht jederzeit einsatzbereit. Außerdem
haben sie nicht die gleiche Ausbildung wie die
Professionellen.
Benjamín: Es ist überraschend, dass das Material,
das vom Cabildo an die Gemeinden verteilt wird, öfter
an die Verbände von Freiwilligen geht als an die
Feuerwehreinheiten selbst. In unserem Fall wird als
Entschuldigung vorgegeben, dass der Dienst von
einem privaten Unternehmen geführt wird und es wird
vergessen, dass er auch zur Gemeinde gehört und
dass alle Mängel an Mitteln in unseren Einsätzen
widergespiegelt werden.
Möglicherweise denken die Politiker, dass das
private Unternehmen alles liefern muss …
Eduardo: Ja, aber im Vertrag des Unternehmens
steht, dass das gesamte Material, das der Feuerwehr
zur Verfügung gestellt wird, nach Ablauf des Vertrages
hierbleiben wird, und dass das Material, das uns
geschenkt wird, immer der Gemeinde gehört und nicht
dem Unternehmen.
Es ist wichtig gewisses Material, dass schon alt ist,
zu erneuern. Wir haben keine großen Mängel, aber
wir würden uns freuen, wenn man uns einbeziehen
und nach unserem Bedarf fragen würde.
Zu welchem Zweck wurde der Verband der
professionellen Feuerwehrmänner von Fuerteventura gegründet?
Benjamin: Wir brauchen einen direkten
Verhandlungspartner, der die Lage der Feuerwehrleute
der Insel darlegt und verhandelt. Wir drei
professionellen Parks der Insel haben uns zusammen
geschlossen und möchten kämpfen, damit auch die
am wenigsten vorbereiteten Gemeinden wie Tuineje
ihre eigenen professionellen Parks bekommen. Die
Insel wächst sehr schnell, es gibt immer mehr Autos
und mehr Notfälle. Es ist nicht gut erst nach Lösungen
zu suchen, wenn die Probleme schon da sind.
Wir denken, dass die Feuerwehrkörper der Insel
gemeinsam eingesetzt und als ein einziges Organ
betrachtet werden müssen und dass dies Kompetenz
des Cabildo ist. Dies geschieht auf anderen Inseln
schon seit langem, und bis jetzt gibt man hier den
Gemeinden Geld oder Material, damit diese es
verwalten wie sie wollen.
Zum Beispiel hat der Zivilschutz ein Lokal voller
Material, das irgendwann verfallen wird ohne jemals
in die Hände der Feuerwehr gelangt zu sein, obwohl
wir diejenigen sind, die es brauchen.
Eduardo: Ich glaube dass heute sowohl der Cabildo,
als auch der zuständige Politiker Guillermo Concepción und der auch verantwortliche Frank Torres dafür
sind, dass die Feuerwehr ein Insel-Dienst sein soll, aber
ich denke, dass wir nicht mit ihrer Formel
einverstanden sind. Sie denken an einen Inseldienst
von Freiwilligen und wir glauben, dass zuerst der
professionelle Inseldienst gestärkt werden muss, da
wir diejenigen sind, die die Probleme lösen müssen.
Unser Verband ist dabei, verschiedene Treffen mit
den Verantwortlichen zu organisieren, um die Formel
zu finden, mit der alle einverstanden sind.
Dies ist vom Gesichtspunkt eines Bürgers
beunruhigend...
Benjamin: Ich selbst bin besorgt. Ich habe eine
Familie und ich möchte dass sie bei jedem Notfall alle
Hilfen bekommt, die sie braucht. Ich möchte die
freiwillige Feuerwehr nicht gering schätzen, aber
professionelle Feuerwehrleute können das besser.
Wenn wir zum Notarzt müssen, möchten wir alle von
dem Arzt betreut werden, der am besten dafür
qualifiziert ist und nicht von dem, der am wenigsten
Erfahrung hat. Das gleiche gilt für einen Unfall, ein
Feuer oder jeden anderen möglichen Notfall.
Könnten Sie uns bitte erklären, worin der
Unterschied zwischen einem freiwilligen und
einem professionellen Feuerwehrmann besteht...
Benjamin: Der Unterschied ist sehr groß. In jeder
Gemeinde werden andere Ansprüche an einen
Feuerwehrmann gestellt, aber überall gibt es eine
Auswahlprüfung. Es sind physische und
psychotechnische Proben, man braucht bestimmte
Eigenschaften und muss mit dem Material umgehen
können. Es ist ein vielseitiger Beruf, durch den wir
gezwungen sind, das Gesundheitswesen für Notfälle
zu kennen, uns im Wasser verteidigen zu können, bei
Autounfällen, Feuer oder dem Einsturz von Gebäuden
zu handeln, Rettungsaktionen in der Höhe, in einer
Schlucht oder bei einem Erdrutsch durchzuführen usw.
Und wir müssen in der Lage sein, in Situationen, in
denen wir stark unter Druck stehen, Entscheidungen
zu fällen.
Gehört dazu eine gewisse Liebe zum Risiko?
Benjamin: Man braucht natürlich eine Berufung, das
ist keine Liebe zum Risiko, aber die Fähigkeit dieses
in gefährlichen Momenten zu akzeptieren und einen
klaren Kopf beim Einsatz zu behalten. Wir bemühen
uns, das Risiko so gering wie möglich zu halten, wir
sind keine Supermänner, aber jeder Feuerwehrmann
setzt in seinem Leben mindestens einmal sein Leben
aufs Spiel. Wenn alle in eine Richtung rennen, muss
der Feuerwehrmann in die entgegen gesetzte Richtung
rasen: Zum Problem.
Das bestätigt die Theorie, dass nicht jeder
Feuerwehrmann sein kann. Was für Aktivitäten
führt dieser neue Feuerwehrverband noch durch?
Benjamin: Da war zum Beispiel vor kurzem der dem
Brand auf La Palma. Es wurde eine dringende
Hilfsaktion vorbereitet und wir wurden, trotz der
Schnelligkeit und Koordinierung der Feuerwehrparks
von Fuerteventura, aufgrund von nicht gerechtfertigten
Gründen 24 Stunden zurückgehalten, bevor wir los zu
dem Feuer durften, deshalb bitten wir die
Verantwortlichen um eine Erklärung.
Durch diese 24 Stunden Hilfe hätten einige große
Materielle Verluste vermieden werden können.
Deshalb haben wir damals eine Pressemitteilung
herausgegeben, in der wir die zahlreichen
Ungereimtheiten angeprangert haben.
Unser Motto lautet: „Man muss in Notfällen Lösungen
finden und nicht die Hauptrolle spielen». Es gibt zu viele
Leute, die nur fotografiert werden möchten, wir
Feuerwehrmänner wollen Probleme lösen.

En esta primera ocasión, contactamos con Octavio
Perera Curbelo. Este canario de Las Palmas, de 31
años y técnico de turismo especializado en turismo
rural, partió de Canarias a finales de junio de este año
como cooperante de una ONG que desarrolla proyectos de turismo rural en los Andes peruanos.
Después de barajar varias opciones: Ecuador… Bolivia… Perú…, reside desde su llegada el pasado mes
que en su territorio se ubica uno de los complejos minero-metalúrgicos más importantes del mundo: La
Oroya, así como el paso ferroviario más alto del mundo: Ticlio, sin embargo la mayoría de su territorio se
localiza en las regiones naturales de selva alta y selva
baja y es una de las principales despensas del país.

algunos compañeros de la oficina, leo, veo alguna
película, paseo y hago alguna que otra ruta para ir
conociendo un poco más la zona». «Añoro cada día a
mi familia, mis amigos, el clima de mis isla y sobre
todo… ¡Los potajes de mi madre!
Como proyecto de futuro, este canario nos comenta: «Me gustaría quedarme aquí el tiempo necesario
para poder ayudar todo lo posible», y ¿después?...
«Pues no se, volver a España, quizá a Canarias, es un
lugar que me encanta para vivir, aunque también me
seduce la idea de comenzar algún nuevo proyecto en
cualquier otra parte del mundo donde pueda aportar
mi experiencia».

Andes…
From this month of September onwards we are
starting this new section called «Canarians Without
Frontiers» with the intention of creating a link between
those Canarian men and women, who valiantly,
decided at some stage in their life to explore new
horizons in the search for work, love, knowledge or
simply the adventure that their native country no
longer offered and who after years away have made
of those places their adoptive home... or is it their true
one? Every month we will tell the story full of life
experiences, memories, nostalgia, wishes that will
make us discover those Canariones (from Gran Canaria), Chicharreros (From Santa Cruz de Tenerife), Majoreros (From Fuerteventurq), Conejeros (From Lanzarote), Herreños (From El Hierro), Palmeros (From La
Palma) or Gomeros (From La Gomera) and giving their
relatives, friends and acquaintances a communication
link with them.
On this first occasion, we contacted Octavio Perera
Curbelo. This 31 year old Canarian from Las Palmas,
technician in tourism specialised in rural tourism left
the Canaries at the end of June this year as aid worker
for a Non-Governmental Organisation that develops
rural tourism programs in the Peruvian Andes.
After considering various options: Ecuador, Bolivia,
Peru...he finally left at the end of June to go to Junín,
in the central part of Peru, North East of Lima in Peru.
The area starts in the higher area of the Andes and
extends through eastern foothills towards Amazonian
plains. It is an over developed mining area as it is
situated on one of the greatest mineral-metal
complexes in the world: La Oroya that has the highest
railway in the world: Ticlio; however most of the territory
is situated in natural areas of high and low rainforest
and brings the biggest income in the country.
He told us that this experience has allowed him to
find out about a new culture that he is passionate
about; he is a great enthusiast of the different tribes
and ethnic groups and he likes learning quechua which
is the indigenous language. «In my point of view, to
learn about this culture and try to help the most
humble people to improve their lifestyle has been an
incredible experience».
«I don’t have much social life here. I go out with a
few office colleagues, I read, watch a few films, go for
walks trying to find out more about the area». «I miss
my family, my friends, the climate of my island every
day and most of all...my mother’s soups!»
As for the challenges he has had to face, he tells us:
«Adapting to the altitude of over 3.500 metres, the
climate, the customs, the way that indigenous people
are and mainly how they prejudge Spanish people,
which for them is still synonym of colonisation, is what
has made my integration with the locals quite difficult.
Transports are also very disorganised and chaotic».
Their customs «are completely different from our
European and Canarian customs. There is a time
difference of 6 hours with the archipelago. As for food,
for example potatoes, they are very abundant and there
are many varieties and are called «papas» like in the
Canaries. Each meal is served with potatoes or rice
and they don’t eat bread or drink any liquids. They also
eat some kind of mojo picante (Canarian spicy sauce)
called «ají». They tend to eat two dishes and a desert
which tends to be fruit, always very nice».
As for future projects, the Canarian tells us: «I would
like to stay here long enough to help as much as I can»
and later? … «Well I don’t know, come back to Spain,
maybe in the Canaries, it is a place where I enjoy living, although the idea of another project somewhere
else in the world where I could use my experience is
quite seducing».

von Artikeln „Kanarier ohne Grenzen», um eine
Verbindung zu diesen kanarischen Frauen und
Männern herzustellen, die irgendwann in ihrem Leben
mutig einen Weg in andere Breitengrade einschlugen,
um dort Arbeit oder die Liebe zu finden, neue
Erfahrungen zu machen oder einfach nur das
Abenteuer suchten, das ihnen ihre Heimat nicht bot,
und die dort mit den Jahren ihre zweite Heimat fanden
… Oder ihre erste? Jeden Monat werden wir eine
Geschichte voller Erfahrungen, Erinnerungen,
Nostalgie und Sehnsucht erzählen, die es uns
ermöglicht diese Menschen aus Gran Canaria,
Teneriffa, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, El Hierro, La Palma und La Gomera kennenzulernen und gleichzeitig
ihren Angehörigen, Freunden und Bekannten eine
Verbindung zu bieten, durch die sie mit ihnen
kommunizieren können.

und trinken keinen Alkohol. Sie verwenden auch eine
pikante Sauce, die «Ají» genannt wird. Sie essen
normalerweise zwei Gerichte und einen Nachtisch, der
gewöhnlich aus Obst besteht, das hier sehr gut ist».
Über seine Projekte für die Zukunft erzählt der
Kanarier: «Ich würde gerne so lange hier bleiben, wie
nötig ist, um den Leuten wirklich helfen zu können».
Und dann?... «Ich weiß es nicht. Ich könnte nach
Spanien zurückkehren, vielleicht auf die Kanaren, da
ich diese Inseln liebe, aber ich würde auch gerne
irgendwo auf der Welt, wo meine Erfahrung nützlich
sein kann, ein neues Projekt beginnen».
Dieses erste Mal kontaktieren wir Octavio Perera
Curbelo. Dieser 31-jährige Kanarier aus Las Palmas,
ein auf den ländlichen Tourismus spezialisierte
Tourismustechniker, verließ die Kanaren Ende Juni
diesen Jahres als Entwicklungshelfer einer NGO, die
Projekte für ländlichen Tourismus in den peruanischen
Anden entwickelt.
Er überlegte sich, wo er hingehen sollte: Ecuador…
Bolivien… Peru… Nun wohnt er seit seiner Ankunft im
vergangenen Juni im zentralen Teil von Peru im
Nordosten von Lima. Die Region beginnt im Hochland
der Anden und dehnt sich auf ihren östlichen
Ausläufern in Richtung der amazonischen Ebene aus.
Anscheinend ist es eine Bergbauregion in den Anden,
da sich in diesem Territorium einer der wichtigsten
Komplexe des Metallbergbaus der Welt befindet: La
Oroya. Dazu kommt, dass man hier den höchsten
Eisenbahnpass der Welt findet: Den Ticlio. Der größte

Teil des Gebiets gehört jedoch zu den natürlichen
Regionen des hohen und des niedrigen Urwaldes und
ist eine der wichtigsten Vorratskammern des Landes.
Octavio erzählt uns, dass er dank dieser Erfahrung
eine neue Kultur kennenlernen konnte, die ihn
begeistert. Er findet die verschiedenen Stämme und
Ethnien toll und lernt gerne die einheimische Sprache
Quechua. «Für mich ist es eine unsagbare Erfahrung,
diese Kultur kennenzulernen und zu versuchen, diesen einfachen Menschen zu helfen, etwas besser
leben zu können».
«Hier führe ich kein besonders gesellschaftliches
Leben. Ich mache einiges zusammen mit einigen
Kollegen aus dem Büro, ich lese, sehe einige Filme,
mache Spaziergänge und einige Ausflüge, um die
Gegend besser kennen zu lernen». «Ich sehne mich
jeden Tag nach meiner Familie, nach meinen Freunde,
dem Klima meiner Insel und vor allem … den Eintöpfen
meiner Mutter!»
Er erzählt uns über die Herausforderungen, die sein
Aufenthalt mit sich bringt: «Ich musste mich an die
Höhe von mehr als 3.500 Metern, das Klima, die
Bräuche und den Charakter der Einheimischen
gewöhnen und vor allem an das Bild, dass die Leute
hier in diesen Breiten von den Spaniern haben, die
hier als Kolonialherren betrachtet werden, wodurch es
schwer für mich war, mich bei den Einheimischen zu

Todo lo bueno se acaba y volvemos a la rutina del
trabajo. Para llegar con las pilas renovadas es bueno
estar en forma y, acabada la jornada laboral, poder
desconectar de muchas formas. Aeróbic, Pilates, yoga
o relajarte en un spa; todas las opciones son buenas.
Muchos usuarios se apuntan al gimnasio durante
la época otoñal. Pero también es cierto que más de la
mitad se borran a los tres meses. Para seguir una rutina es muy importante establecer un horario fijo todos o cada dos días y hacer diversas actividades. Así

Getting fit to go back to work
All good things come to an end, and it is time for us
to go back to work. In order to go back with fully charged
batteries we have to be fit and after our day’s work we
should be able to relax in many different ways. Aerobics,
Pilates, yoga or relaxing in a spa are good options.
Many of us register at the gym during autumn, but
over half get bored with it after three months. In order
to follow a routine, we have to set fixed times every day
or every two days and practice various activities. This
way, one day we’ll practice aerobics, another we’ll swim
for half an hour, the following week we could use
machines and we can also get a few tips from a personal trainer. The main objective is to get involved and go
to the gym in the same way that we get up to go to work.
Another good way to disconnect is to run. All you need

Das Wohlleben hört auf und wir kehren zur Routine
der Arbeit zurück. Um mit gestärkten Kräften zurück
zu kommen ist es gut, fit zu sein und am Ende des
Arbeitstages auf viele Arten abschalten zu können. Es
gibt verschiedene hervorragende Möglichkeiten:
Aerobic, Pilates, Yoga oder Entspannung in einem Spa.
Viele Nutzer melden sich im Herbst spontan in einem
Fitnessstudio an, aber mehr als die Hälfte davon hören

Se puede acceder a las grutas caminando sobre las rocas y mejor aún nadando para poder contemplar sus paisajes interiores, cuando el mar está en
calma. El Mirador, desde el que se aprecia un paisaje fuerte de rocas mar abierto con una vista de la pequeña playa
del pueblecito típico de pescadores. De
camino hacia Ajuy, encontramos el precioso valle de la Vega de Río Palma y
con el Santuario de la Virgen de la Peña,

masiva romería los peregrinos en el
mes de septiembre, y el Barranco de
las Peñitas donde se recoge el agua de
lluvia de forma natural.

José González - Pintor, escultor, tallista, escritor y cantor de coral
«Esta isla y sus gentes son mi fuente de
inspiración»
Cuando se entrevista a alguien como José González, (pintor, escultor, tallista, escritor, cantor de coral....),
es muy difícil hacer la introducción para presentarlo.
Necesitaríamos mucho más que el espacio del que
disponemos para detallar todas las habilidades de este
polifacético y autodidacta artista, y como nos vemos
obligados a hacer un resumen de su dilatada vida y
múltiples experiencias, esperamos no obviar algún
dato que sea de primordial interés.
Nació en Gran Canaria en el año 40, en una familia
de siete hermanos y aprendió muy bien la lección de
su padre que considera más importante: «Trabaja en
lo que te guste, y la vida te será mas fácil». Por eso
desde niño y a pesar de las dificultades que se vivieron en la postguerra, José González definió su vocación por las artes y se matriculó en la escuela Luján
Pérez donde tuvo como maestros a Abrahán Cárdenes
en escultura y a Cirilo Suárez en dibujo. Posteriormente aprendió a tallar la madera con el afamado Pacollo,
y completó su aprendizaje con Rafael Lucas.
Es aun muy joven cuando se establece por su cuenta en su taller de la azotea de su casa, pero cambian
los vientos y la vida le lleva a conocer el mundo de los
anticuarios de la mano de Gustavo Ponce de León.

La belleza del hombre de estas tierras está en su alma.
No existe majorero pedante ni chulero,
es hombre de bien en sus constantes,
Da silencio por respuesta a los insultos,
el sabe de que fuera no hay ataque ni daño
que melle su firmeza,
el atacante ataca a la cabeza
y no sabe que allí no la tiene el majorero.
Yerra el arma ya que, la razón de estos canarios
está en el alma.
Hijo de la sed,
cohabitante de la soledad que palpa, amigo de Dios...
y por Dios es amante de su amada.
Es padre y esposo antes que nada.
Sabe hablar con el silencio y de él recibe
esta enseñanza,
solo su voz audible es escuchada
cuando el corazón en llorar se empeña.
Cuando hay algo que decir lo canta,
si es triste, es malagueña
y si su alegría es manifiesta y al expresarla no atina,
apaña una guitarra y sonriéndole a Dios
entona una berlina.
Pero la vida día a día es transmitir más que palabras,
hay poco que decir si para ello no empleas el alma.

José González

participa en largas tertulias sobre arte y humanidades con un grupo selecto de eruditos. Se siente como
una esponja y tiene muchas ganas de aprender de
todo.
Pero su vida continúa en movimiento y comienza a
trabajar con Manuel Delgado Camino, en su empresa
de marquetería y galería de arte, dedicándose de lleno a organizar exposiciones en Las Palmas, al principio, y posteriormente en el resto de las islas y en distintas ciudades de la península.
Háblenos de incursión en el mundo de los galeristas en Madrid. ¿Como surge la idea de dar ese
salto?
La idea era crear una galería de arte canario, dar a
conocer a nuestros artistas y así se presentó al Consejero de Cultura, con el que se acordó que recibiríamos una pequeña subvención a cambio de poner la
galería a disposición del gobierno de Canarias tres
meses cuando ellos quisieran.
Trabajamos muchísimo, y muy duro. Mi jefe hizo una
gran inversión económica comenzando por comprar
el local en la zona de Argüelles y por fin se pudo inaugurar con la presencia de representantes de la Casa
Real, miembros del gobierno Canario, los galeristas
más importantes de Madrid y una gran repercusión
en prensa. Posteriormente el gobierno de Canarias se
hecho atrás y no nos dio la subvención. Lógicamente
nos indignamos y tuvimos un encuentro muy acalorado. Luego me enteré que ellos habían alquilado en
Madrid una galería con un presupuesto muy por encima del la subvención que habíamos pactado. Esta situación la puedo considerar, el fracaso más importante
y que más me ha afectado.
¿Cuando decidió regresar a Canarias?
Cinco años después; y el regreso a Las Palmas fue complicado porque la labor que yo hacía la habían continuado
las hijas de mi jefe. Sentía que yo, ya no encajaba allí.
Nos surgió la idea de llevar exposiciones itinerantes
de los pintores que representábamos por los hoteles
de alto nivel en todas las islas. Nos dio la idea un amigo
de Fuerteventura y así fue como llegué a esta isla hace
unos 25 años.
Fue un trabajo duro y poco agradecido. Presentábamos unas exposiciones que, además de vender, dieran
una buena imagen de nuestros artistas, lo que suponía trasladar cuadros grandes, montarlos, negociar con
los directores de hoteles, etc., pero el turismo que había entonces no estaba muy interesado en el arte.
Se me ocurrió la idea y así la expuse a mi jefe: montar un local en Puerto del Rosario y hacer publicidad
para que los turistas viniesen a nosotros y no ir nosotros buscándolos.
Para completar el negocio del local, pusimos marquetería y comenzó a funcionar muy bien, tanto fue
así que un día mi jefe me llevó a ver una casa vieja en
La Oliva, con la intención de crear de una exposición
permanente de arte canario en un entorno adecuado,
silencioso, restaurado y precioso que se convirtió en
lugar de visita obligada al conocer la isla. Se abrió con
el nombre de Centro de Arte Canario y durante muchos años acogió a cientos de turistas que llegaban
en autocares y coches privados para conocer el lugar,
colegios, grupos de mayores, etc.
Es una pena que ese lugar permanezca cerrado en
la actualidad…
Sí, yo estaba muy orgulloso del lugar y Manuel Delgado igualmente. Espero que no todo esté perdido.
Quizás el Cabildo o alguien con visión de futuro, sea
capaz de retomarlo como imagen de prestigio de la
isla a nivel cultural.
¿Cuando empieza a dedicarse de lleno a su
pintura?
En el año 2005 me jubilé y poco después exponía
mi serie «El color de la música» en la Casa de la Cultura de Puerto del Rosario.
A esta le siguieron otras exposiciones con mucho
éxito de público y de ventas, en Corralejo, El Molino de
Antigua y también la última, «Reflejos», en El Cotillo.
¿Y cómo es que decide quedarse en Fuerteventura?
A mi me fascina la isla, pero sobre todo me encanta
su gente, la más sencilla. Han sido mi fuente de inspiración, y mi pequeño homenaje a Fuerteventura son
mis novelas inspiradas en personajes de aquí. Pienso
quedarme en esta isla hasta mis últimos días.
¿Cuáles son sus novelas?
La primera se llama «Rigo» y la segunda «La casa de
los Arniches». También estoy preparando un libro de
reflexiones poéticas.
¿Y proyectos de futuro?
Tengo mi último proyecto en marcha que espero se
materialice pronto. Estamos en trato con un ayuntamiento para crear una fundación con el artista Alberto Agulló. Es un amigo, artista levantino que vino a
Fuerteventura y se enamoró de la isla. Tiene un estudio al lado del mío y ha decidido que toda su obra, a
su muerte, se quede aquí. Nadie como él, ha reflejado esta isla en sus pinturas.

«This island and its people are my
inspiration»
When you interview someone like José González
(painter, sculptor, wood carver, writer, choir singer...),
it is very difficult to make his introduction. We need
much more space than what is available in this article
to describe the abilities of this versatile and autodidact
artist but since we find ourselves obliged to make a
summary of his extensive life and multiple experiences,
we only hope that we won’t forget some primordial
detail.
He was born in Gran Canaria in the forties, in a family
of seven brothers and remembered his father’s most
important advice: «Work in something that you like and
life will be easier». This is why from a young age and
despite the difficulties that living in post war times
meant, José González found his vocation in arts and
registered in the Luján Pérez school where Abrahán
Cárdenes was his sculpting teacher and Cirilo Suárez
taught drawings. Later he learned to carve wood with
famous Pacollo and completed his training with Rafael Lucas.
He was still young when he set himself up in his
workshop on the roof terrace of his home, but winds
turned and he was introduced to the world of antiques
with Gustavo Ponce de León. This is who introduced
him to the world of restoration, furniture styles,
porcelains, crystals, etc... furthermore he participated
in large gatherings about art and humanity with a select
group of scholars. He was like a sponge and had the
drive to learn everything.
But his life carried on moving and he started working
with Manuel Delgado Camino, in his model making
business and art gallery, he dedicated himself to
organising exhibitions in Las Palmas at the beginning
and later on the other islands and various towns on
Mainland Spain.
Tell us about your introduction to the world of art
galleries in Madrid. How did you get the idea to
jump into it?
The idea was to create a Canarian art gallery, to introduce our artists and this is how it was presented to
the Culture Council who granted us a little subvention
in return for letting the Canarian government use the
gallery for three months when they needed it.
We worked a lot and hard. My boss made a large
investment starting with the purchase of the local in
the area of Arguelles and finally we were able to
inaugurate it with representatives of the Royal family,
members of the Canarian government, the most
important gallery owners of Madrid and a lot of media. Later the Canarian government backed out and
never gave us the subvention. Logically we were
disgusted and had a very heated meeting. I later found
out that the cost of the local that we got in Madrid was
largely above the amount of the subvention. This
situation is for me the worst failure and the one that
affected me the most.
When did you decide to come back to the
Canaries?
Five years later and coming back to Las Palmas was
complicated because my boss’ daughters had taken
over my duties and I no longer fitted there.
We got the idea of organising travelling painting
exhibitions which we presented to all the luxury hotels in
the islands. A friend from Fuerteventura gave us the idea
and this is how I arrived on this island 25 years ago.
It was hard work, and not very rewarding. We wanted
exhibitions not only to sell, but also to give a good image
of our artists and it meant moving large paintings,
setting them up, negotiating with hotel directors, etc.,
but the kind of tourism we had at the time was not
really interested in art.
I told my boss about my idea to create a gallery in
Puerto del Rosario and advertise for tourists to come
to us instead of us looking for them.
In order to complete the deal for the local, we put
marquetry and it all started working very well, so much
so that my boss sent me to find an old house in La
Oliva in order to create a permanent exhibition of
Canarian art in adequate, quiet, restored and beautiful
settings; it became the place to visit when touring the
island. It was named Centro de Arte Canario and for
many years hundreds of tourists came by bus loads
and private cars to find out about the place, schools,
groups of elderly people, etc.
It is great shame that it is now closed...
Yes it is, I was very proud about this place and so
was Manuel Delgado. I hope that all is not lost. Maybe
the Cabildo or someone with a vision for the future
can take it over as the prestigious image of the island
on a cultural level.
When did you start dedicating yourself full time to
painting?
In 2005 I retired and shortly after I exhibited my
series «El color de la música» in the House of Culture
in Puerto del Rosario.
Other exhibitions followed that were quite successful
and sold well in Corralejo, El Molino de Antigua and
also the last one «Reflejos» in El Cotillo.
What made you decide to stay in Fuerteventura?
I am fascinated by the island, but mainly I really like
the people, who are simple. They have been my source
of inspiration and my small tributes to Fuerteventura
are my novels inspired by local people. I think I will
stay here forever.
Which are your novels?
The first one is called «Rigo» and the second one «La
casa de los Arniches». I am also preparing a book of
poetry.
Do you have any projects for the future?
My last project is under way which I hope will soon
materialise. With the artist, Alberto Agulló, we are
negociating with the Ayuntamiento to create a
foundation. He is a friend, an artist from Levante in
Mainland Spain who came to Fuerteventura and fell in
love with the island. He has a studio next to mine and
has decided that all his art would stay here. No one
has ever captured the island the way he has in his
paintings.

«Diese Insel und ihre Menschen inspirieren
mich»
Wenn man jemanden wie José González, (Maler,
Bildhauer, Schnitzer, Schriftsteller, Sänger im Chor....)
interviewt, ist es sehr schwer, ihn in einer Einleitung
vorzustellen. Wir bräuchten viel mehr Platz, um Ihnen
von allen Fähigkeiten dieses vielseitigen und
autodidaktischen Künstlers zu berichten. Da wir
gezwungen sind, sein volles Leben und seine
zahlreichen Erfahrungen zusammenzufassen, hoffen
wir, dass wir nichts Wichtiges vergessen haben.
Er wurde 1940 auf Gran Canaria in einer Familie
mit sieben Kindern geboren und hat von seinem Vater
das gelernt, das er für das wichtigste hält: «Wenn du
die Arbeit machst, die dir Spaß macht, wird das Leben
für dich leichter sein». Deshalb entschied er sich als
Kind für seine Berufung zur Kunst, allen
Schwierigkeiten der Nachkriegszeit zum Trotz und
immatrikulierte sich in der Schule Luján Pérez, wo er
Lehrer wie Abrahán Cárdenes in Bildhauerei und Cirilo
Suárez in Zeichnung hatte. Danach lernte er die
Schnitzerei bei dem berühmten Pacollo und
vervollständigte seine Ausbildung bei Rafael Lucas.
Er war noch sehr jung, als er auf der Dachterrasse
seines Hauses seine eigene Werkstatt einrichtete, aber
das Spiel des Lebens sorgte dafür, dass er durch Gustavo Ponce de León die Welt der Antiquariate
kennenlernte.
So entdeckte er die Welt der Restaurierung,
verschiedene Möbelarten, Porzellan, Kristallglas usw.,
außerdem nahm er zusammen mit einer Gruppe von
ausgewählten Gelehrten an langen geschlossenen
Gesprächsrunden über Kunst und Geisteswissenschaften
teil. Er fühlte sich wie ein Schwamm und wollte alles
Mögliche lernen.
Sein tägliches Leben war weiterhin bewegt, und er
begann mit Manuel Delgado Camino in dessen
Unternehmen für Intarsienarbeit und in dessen
Kunstgalerie zu arbeiten und widmete sich vollständig
der Organisation von Ausstellungen, zuerst in Las Palmas und dann auf den übrigen Inseln und in
verschiedenen Städten auf dem spanischen Festland.
Erzählen Sie uns bitte etwas über Ihre Erfahrungen
in der Welt der Galeristen in Madrid. Wie kamen
Sie auf die Idee, dort tätig zu werden?
Die Idee war, eine Galerie für kanarische Kunst zu
gründen und unsere Künstler bekannt zu machen. So
wurde sie dem Amt für Kultur präsentiert, mit dem
vereinbart wurde, dass wir eine kleine Subvention
erhalten sollten und die Galerie der Regierung der
Kanaren als Gegenleistung für drei Monate zur
Verfügung stellen mussten, wenn diese das wünschte.
Wir haben viel und hart gearbeitet. Mein Chef
investierte viel Geld. Zuest kaufte er ein Lokal in dem
Stadtteil Arguelles, und schließlich konnte die Gallerie
eingeweiht werden. Zur Eröffnung kamen auch
Vertreter der königlichen Familie, Mitglieder der
Regierung, die wichtigsten Galleristen von Madrid und
viele Journalisten. Schließlich machte die Regierung
der Kanaren einen Schritt zurück und gab uns die
Subvention nicht. Logischerweise waren wir empört
und hatten ein sehr hitziges Treffen mit ihnen. Später
erfuhr ich, dass sie in Madrid eine Galerie gemietet
hatten, die wesentlich mehr kostete, als die vereinbarte
Subvention. Ich denke das war mein größter Misserfolg
und ich war sehr davon betroffen.
Wann beschlossen Sie, auf die Kanaren
zurückzukehren?
Fünf Jahre später; die Rückkehr nach Las Palmas
war schwierig, da die Töchter meines früheren Chefs
meine dortige Arbeit weitergemacht hatten. Ich fühlte,
dass ich nicht mehr dorthin gehörte.
Wir kamen auf die Idee, Wanderausstellungen der
Maler, die wir vertraten, in niveauvolle Hotels auf allen
Inseln zu bringen. Ein Freund von uns aus Fuerteventura hatte die Idee, und so kam ich vor ungefähr 25
Jahren nach Fuerteventura.
Es war eine harte und undankbare Arbeit. Wir
präsentierten Ausstellungen, bei denen nicht nur die
Werke unserer Künstler verkauft, sondern auch deren
Image gefördert werden sollte. Wir mussten große
Bilder befördern, diese aufbauen, mit Hoteldirektoren
verhandeln usw., aber die damaligen Touristen waren
nicht sehr an Kunst interessier.
Ich kam auf die Idee und legte sie meinem Chef dar:
Wir könnten ein Lokal in Puerto del Rosario eröffnen
und Werbung machen, so dass die Touristen zu uns
kommen konnten, statt wir zu ihnen.
Um das Geschäft in dem Lokal zu vervollständigen,
machten wir auch Intarsienarbeit, und es fing an gut
zu laufen, so dass mein Chef mich eines Tages zu
einem alten Haus in La Oliva brachte, wo er eine
ständige Ausstellung über kanarische Kunst in einer
angemessenen, ruhigen und restaurierten und
wunderschönen Umgebung schaffen wollte, wodurch
der Ort für die Besucher der Insel zu einem
obligatorischen Ziel wurde. Es wurde mit dem Namen
Zentrum der kanarischen Kunst eröffnet und wurde
jahrelang von hunderten von Touristen besucht, die
mit Bussen und Privatautos kamen, um diesen Ort
kennenzulernen. Unter ihnen waren Gruppen von
Schülern und Senioren usw.
Es ist schade, dass dieser Ort heute geschlossen ist...
Ja, Manuel Delgado und ich waren sehr stolz darauf.
Ich hoffe, dass nicht alles verloren ist. Vielleicht ist
der Cabildo oder irgendjemand mit Weitblick in der
Lage, es wiederzueröffnen, um dadurch das Prestige
der Insel auf kultureller Ebene zu fördern.
Wann haben Sie begonnen, sich vollständig der
Malerei zu widmen?
2005 wurde ich pensioniert und wenig später stellte
ich meine Serie „Die Farbe der Musik» im
Kulturzentrum von Puerto del Rosario aus.
Darauf folgten weitere Ausstellungen, die beim
Publikum viel Erfolg hatten und wo ich viel verkaufte.
Ich habe Ausstellungen in Corralejo und El Molino de
Antigua gemacht und die letzte, „Reflexe», in El Cotillo.
Wieso haben Sie beschlossen, auf Fuerteventura
zu bleiben?
Mich fasziniert die Insel, aber vor allem mag ich ihre
Bevölkerung. Sie hat mich inspiriert, und meine
Romane, die von den Menschen hier inspiriert wurden,
sind meine kleine Hommage an Fuerteventura. Ich
habe vor, bis ans Ende meines Lebens auf dieser Insel
zu bleiben.
Welche Romane haben Sie geschrieben?
Der erste heißt „Rigo» und der zweite „La casa de
los Arniches». Ich bereite auch ein Buch mit poetischen
Reflektionen vor.
Welche Projekte haben Sie für die Zukunft?
Ich arbeite schon an meinem neuesten Projekt und
hoffe, dass es bald realisiert wird. Wir versuchen mit
einer Gemeinde eine Stiftung des Künstlers Alberto
Agulló zu gründen. Er ist ein Freund, ein Künstler aus
Levante, der nach Fuerteventura kam und sich in die
Insel verliebte. Er hat ein Studio neben meinem und
möchte, dass sein ganzes Werk nach seinem Tod
hierbleiben soll. Niemand hat diese Insel so gemalt
wie er.

‘Aprende jugando junto al mar’, han aprendido y enseñado, técnicas deportivas, perspicacia investigadora en juegos nocturnos, han descubierto caminos con
linternas por las noches, realizado excursiones y montado a caballo.
El Campamento incluyó un curso de iniciación al
kayak, técnicas de salvamento y socorrismo, talleres
de astronomía, de reciclaje, de montar a caballo, baños de barro, acampadas, técnicas de orientación y
senderismo conociendo rutas del municipio.
la aplicación de la Ley de Medidas Urgentes, y la trascendencia y efectos que tendrá en el sector primario
de Antigua las actuaciones enmarcadas en el Plan
Estratégico para la Ganadería.
Tras la reunión mantenida en el Ayuntamiento de
Antigua, visitaron diferentes infraestructuras ganaderas del municipio para evaluar sus recursos, medios,
e incluso observar los animales de las granjas, aprovechando la presencia de Juan Capote, referente internacional por sus estudios de genética de la cabra
autóctona en Canarias y Fuerteventura y que actualmente es coordinador del Plan Estratégico para la
Ganadería en Canarias.

Recientemente se llevaron a cabo, en Valles de Ortega, la limpieza, retirada de escombros y embellecimiento de la entrada del pueblo, calles y solares, así
como la mejora y acondicionamiento de la plaza.
El Plan de Limpieza y Embellecimiento en las diferentes localidades del municipio, ha supuesto una limpieza exhaustiva de aceras, calles y solares, además
de despejar de escombros y allanar la entrada principal. Paralelo a estos trabajos de limpieza se ha pintando y acondicionado la fachada de la plaza de Valles de Ortega.

The entrance to the village of Valles de Ortega, its
streets, empty plots and square were recently cleaned,

Der Plan für Reinigung und Verschönerung führte in
verschiedenen Or ten der Gemeinde zu einer
gründlichen Reinigung der Bürgersteige, Straßen und
Grundstücke, außerdem wurde die Hauptzufahrt von
Schutt gesäubert und geebnet. Gleichzeitig wurde die
Fassade des Platzes von Valles de Ortega gestrichen
und hergerichtet.

Fifty children from the municipality participated in
Antigua’s infant and juvenile camp called « Aprende
jugando junto al mar» (learn while playing by the sea),
and learned sports’ techniques and investigating
perspicacity in night time games, discovered paths with
torches at night, gone on excursions and horse riding.
The Camp also organised initiation courses on kayak,
rescue and life saving techniques, workshops based
on astronomy, recycling, horse riding, mud baths, camping, orientation techniques and hiking while learning
about the municipality’s tracks.

Die 50 Jungen und Mädchen aus der Gemeinde, die
am Kinder- und Jugendzeltlager von Antigua unter dem

nächtlichen Spielen gelernt, die Wanderwege nachts
mit Kerzenlicht erforscht, Ausflüge gemacht und sind
geritten.
Zu dem Zeltlager gehört ein Einführungskurs in
Kajakfahren, Rettungstechniken und Rettungsschwimmen, Kurse über Astronomie, Recycling, Reiten,
Schlammbaden, Zelten, Orientierungstechniken und
Wandern auf den Routen der Gemeinde.
VISITA A LAS GRANJAS GANADERAS
The Agriculture, Livestock, Fishing and Environment
councillor from Antigua’s Ayuntamiento, José Luís
Cerdeña met last month with the Canarian
Government’s General Livestock Director, Marcelino
Umpiérrez Figueroa, in order to go over the main points
of the Law of Urgent Measures that applies to this
municipality and the effects that the actions of the
Strategic Plan for Livestock Farming will have on the
primary sector in Antigua.
After the meeting that took place in Antigua’s Ayuntamiento, visits of various livestock farms of the
municipality were organised in order to evaluate their
resources, means and observe animals in the barns,
taking advantage of the presence of Juan Capote,
international correspondent for his genetic studies on
native goats of the Canaries and Fuerteventura and
who is currently the Strategic Plan for Livestock
Farming coordinator in the Canaries.

Der Beauftragte für Landwirtschaft, Viehzucht,
Fischerei und Umwelt der Gemeinde von Antigua, José
Luís Cerdeña, traf sich im vergangenen Monat mit dem
Generaldirektor für Viehzucht der Regierung der
Kanaren, Marcelino Umpiérrez Figueroa, um die
wichtigsten Punkte zur Sprache zu bringen, die sich in
der Gemeinde durch die Anwendung des Gesetzes
über dringende Maßnahmen ergeben und darüber,
welche Folgen die zu dem strategischen Plan für
Viehzucht gehörenden Eingriffe im Primärsektor von
Antigua haben werden.
Nach dem Treffen, das im Rathaus von Antigua
stattfand, besuchten sie verschiedene mit der
Viehzucht in Bezug stehende Infrastrukturen der
Gemeinde, um deren Mittel zu schätzen. Außerdem
versuchten sie sogar, das Verhalten der Tiere auf den
Farmen zu beobachten, wobei sie die Anwesenheit von
Juan Capote nutzten, der wegen seiner
Untersuchungen über die Genetik der einheimischen
Ziegen ein internationaler Referent, ist und zurzeit als
Koordinator des strategischen Plans für Viehzucht auf
den Kanaren tätig ist.

TRIQUIVIJATE Y EL CASTILLO
El concejal de Agricultura, Ganadería, Pesca y Medio Ambiente del Ayuntamiento de Antigua, José Luís
Cerdeña mantuvo el pasado mes un encuentro con el
Director General de Ganadería del Gobierno de Canarias, Marcelino Umpiérrez Figueroa para abordar los
principales puntos que inciden en el municipio sobre
Las subvenciones concedidas, tras la gestión realizada por el Ayuntamiento de Antigua suponen un importe total de 84.455,92 euros, y se enmarcan en el
ámbito de colaboración con el Servicio Canario de
Empleo, para la promoción de obras de interés social.
Las dos subvenciones presentadas desde la Agencia de Empleo y Desarrollo Local, están destinadas a
un proyecto de ‘Limpieza y embellecimiento’, que abarca las localidades de Antigua y Triquivijate, así como a
la ejecución de la ‘2ª Fase del Plan de actuación
medioambiental’ en El Castillo. Los proyectos se iniciarán a partir del 1 de septiembre, prolongándose
durante seis meses.

The subventions allocated represent the sum of
84.455,92 euros and come from the collaboration
agreement with the Canarian Employment Service for
the promotion of actions of social interest.
The two subventions granted by the Employment and
Local Development Agency are destined for a project of
«Cleaning and Embellishing» of the areas of Antigua and
Triquivijate as well as the execution of the «2nd Phase of
the Environment Action Plan» in El Castillo. The projects
will start on 1st September and last six months.
The 2nd phase of the Environment Action Plan on the
the municipality’s tourist areas, mainly in El Castillo, will
consist of removing rubble and residue close to tourist
urban centres, as well as developing the Cleaning Plan
on villages further inland such as Triquivijate and Antigua in order to clean and embellish the municipality.

wurden, betragen insgesamt 84.455,92 Euros und
gehören zum Bereich der Kooperation mit dem
kanarischen Beschäftigungsdienst für die Förderung
von sozialen Tätigkeiten.
Die beiden Subventionen, die von der Agentur für
Beschäftigung und örtliche Entwicklung präsentiert
werden, sind für ein Projekt für die Reinigung und
Verschönerung der Ortschaften von Antigua und
Triquivijate bestimmt sowie für die Ausführung der
zweiten Phase der Plans für Eingriffe im Umweltbereich
in El Castillo. Die Projekte werden ab dem 1. September
begonnen und dauern sechs Monate.
Während der 2. Phase der Eingriffe im Umweltbereich
in touristischen Gegenden der Gemeinde, vor allem in
El Castillo, wird eine gründliche Reinigung von Schutt
und Rückständen in den Gebieten in der Nähe der
touristischen Stadtkerne durchgeführt. Gleichzeitig wird
ein Reinigungsplan in den Orten des Binnenlandes der
Gemeinde Triquivijate und Antigua erstellt, um die
Umgebung und die Umwelt der Gemeinde nach und
nach zu säubern und zu verschönern.
THE MUNICIPAL SWIMMING POOL OPENS
ITS DOORS FOR SWIMMING LESSONS
In early August the municipal swimming pool opened
to the public once again. It had been closed until then
for renovation and refurbishment work on the 25 metre
pool.
Thanks to the opening of the municipal swimming
pool, swimming lessons for adults (from 16 years old
and over) and children (from 4 years old and over)
started with the help of two experienced instructors
and two life guards ensuring the safety of all users.
The municipal swimming pool is open from 9 A.M.
Until 9 P.M., Monday to Friday all year round.

SCHWIMMBADES UND BEGINN DER
SCHWIMMKURSE
Anfang August wurde das öffentliche Schwimmbad
eröffnet. Bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt hatten dort
Verbesserungs- und Aufbereitungsarbeiten stattgefunden,
wobei der Anstrich des 25 Meter langen und 2 Meter tiefen
Schwimmbads abgekratzt und erneuert wird.
Mit Eröffnung des öffentlichen Schwimmbades
beginnen die Schwimmkurse für Gruppen für
Erwachsene ab 16 Jahre und Kindergruppen ab 4
Jahren, die an verschiedenen Tageszeiten von
erfahrenen Lehrern gegeben werden, dazu kommen
zwei Rettungsschwimmer, die die Sicherheit der
Schwimmer und Nutzer garantieren.
Das öffentliche Schwimmbad wird das ganze Jahr
über von 09:00 bis 21:00 Uhr geöffnet sein.

Restauración de Áreas Degradadas, promovido por la
Mancomunidad Centro Sur de Fuerteventura.
Esta iniciativa no sólo viene a abaratar costes, dotar de plantas de diversas especies a los jardines públicos (mediante sembrado y estaquillado), sino también a sacar más partido a la Finca de la Noria y propiciar formación especializada a las alumnas del citado

el 30 de noviembre próximo, el Taller de Empleo Jardinería y Restauración de Áreas Degradadas de la Mancomunidad Centro Sur de Fuerteventura, a través del
cual se ofrece formación a 15 mujeres, residentes en
Antigua, Tuineje, Betancuria y Pájara, y cuya media de
edad es de 45 años.
Jardinería, viverismo, manipulación de productos
fitosanitarios, y restauración de áreas degradadas son
las materias en que más se incide en este Taller de
Empleo, conducido por un director, una monitora, una
coordinadora y una administrativo.

This nursery will be built on the estate of La Noria,
a municipal property, where the terrain is already being
prepared close the existing composting area.
Various councils of the Ayuntamiento are
collaborating in this project such as the Municipal
Agricultural Department and the gardening and
refurbishment of degraded areas Employment
Workshop students, promoted by the Centre South
Community of Fuerteventura.
This initiative does not only aim to reduce costs and
introduce plants of various species in pubic gardens
but also to take advantage of the estate of la Noria
and provide specialist training to students from this
Employment Workshop.

LA PISCINA MUNICIPAL ABRE SUS PUERTAS E INICIA LOS CURSOS DE NATACIÓN
A principios del pasado mes de agosto se abrieron
las puertas de la Piscina Municipal. Hasta esa fecha,
permanecía en obras de mejora y acondicionamiento, rascando y pintando el firme de la piscina de 25
metros de largo que cuenta con una profundidad media de 2 metros.
Con la apertura de la Piscina Municipal se inician
los Cursos de Natación para grupos adultos desde los
16 años, y grupos infantiles desde los 4 años de edad
que imparten dos monitores con experiencia, en diferentes horarios del día, y dos socorristas que garantizan la seguridad de todos los nadadores y usuarios.
La Piscina Municipal dispondrá de un horario permanente de 09:00 horas a 21:00 horas de lunes a
viernes todas las semanas del año.
Este vivero se construirá en la finca La Noria, de
propiedad municipal, donde ya se prepara el terreno
en que se ubicará el vivero, en las proximidades de la
planta de compostaje existente.

GEWÄCHSHAUS FÜR DIE ZUCHT VON
GARTENPFLANZEN
Dieser Pflanzengarten wird auf der Finca La Noria
gebaut, welche Besitz der Gemeinde ist. Dort wird
schon das Gelände vorbereitet, das den
Pflanzengar ten in der Nähe der bestehenden
Kompostierungsanlage beherbergen wird.
In diesem Projekt arbeiten Arbeiter aus verschiedenen
Ämtern der Gemeinde, die landwirtschaftliche
Gesellschaft der Gemeinde und die Schülerinnen des
Kurses für Beschäftigung im Bereich der Gärtnerei und
der Restaurierung von heruntergekommenen Gebieten,
der von der Zweckgemeinschaft Zentrum Süden von
Fuerteventura gefördert wird.
Durch diese Initiative wird es nicht nur billiger, die
öffentlichen Gärten mit verschiedenen Pflanzenarten
auszustatten (durch Saat und Stecklinge), sondern so
wird auch die Finca La Noria genutzt, und die
Schülerinnen des genannten Kurses erhalten eine
spezialisierte Ausbildung.

Der Beschäftigungskurs für Gärtnereiarbeit und

Los principales objetivos de este organismo son la
promoción e implantación de políticas activas de empleo, mediante la creación de más actividad empresarial para la localidad, lo que redunda en más inserción laboral.
En muchos casos se informa a los emprendedores
sobre la creación de empresas de diversos sectores, y
otras veces se les asesora sobre una empresa determinada, por la que ellos han apostado (especialmente en materia de pago único, autónomos y proyectos
de Innovación y Empleo (I+E)).
La obtención de líneas de subvenciones y las facilidades habilitadas por distintas administraciones por
apostar por I+E son también labores de esta Agencia,
que cuenta con dos AEDL (agentes de empleo y desarrollo local) que asesoran a los demandantes y al público en general en materia empresarial.
Asimismo, también se ha apostado por la flexibilidad del mercado laboral a través del acercamiento de
la oferta y la demanda. Desde que se puso en marcha, la Bolsa de Empleo Municipal, esta ha tramitado
más de 131 solicitudes de empleo; lo que ha propiciado la colocación de una veintena de trabajadores.

Die wichtigsten Ziele dieser Organisation sind die

Leute Arbeit finden werden.
In vielen Fällen werden die Unternehmer über die
Gründung von Firmen in verschiedenen Branchen
informiert, in anderen Fällen werden sie in Bezug auf
eine bestimmte Firma beraten, auf die sie gesetzt
haben (vor allem in Bezug auf Einmalzahlungen,
Selbstständige, Projekte für Erneuerung und
Einstellung (I+E).
Der Erhalt von Subventionslinien und die
Erleichterungen, die die verschiedenen Verwaltungen für
diejenigen eingerichtet haben, die auf I+E setzen, wurden
auch von dieser Agentur eingerichtet, die über zwei AEDL
verfügt (Agenten für Beschäftigung und örtliche
Entwicklung), welche die Antragsteller und das allgemeine
Publikum über unternehmerische Fragen beraten.
Es wurde ebenfalls auf die Flexibilität des
Arbeitsmarktes durch Annäherung von Angebot und
Nachfrage gesetzt. Seitdem die Beschäftigungsbörse
der Gemeinde existiert, wurden 131 Arbeitsgesuche
bearbeitet, wodurch ungefähr zwanzig Arbeitnehmer
Stellen gefunden haben.

The main objectives of this organisation are the
promotion and implantation of active employment
policies, through the creation of more business activity
in the area, which will create more work insertion.
In many cases aspiring business people are informed
about the creation of businesses in various sectors, and
they can also be informed about one specific business
which they have applied for (especially for self-employment
and Innovation and employment projects (I+E)).
The granting of subventions and facilities by various
administrations for people applying to I+E are also part
of the tasks of this Agency that consists of two local
employment and development agents (AEDL) who
manage demands and the general public.
Furthermore, they have wagered on the flexibility of

tres puestos de venta en el Mercado Municipal de

promoción del sector primario de la localidad, la comercialización de su producción, el fomento de la actividad comercial y la generación de empleo.
El concejal de Agricultura, Ganadería, Pesca y Mercado, Juan Tomás Armas Alonso, también administra-
dor único de la gestora, señala que se trata de garantizar que el vecino y consumidor puedan encontrar
en el Mercado todos aquellos productos frescos que
genera el sector primario de la localidad, con garantía
de calidad y buen servicio.
El edil anima a la ciudadanía a visitar el Mercado, y
recuerda que uno de los puestos está vacante, por lo
que los interesados pueden ponerse en contacto con
la Gestora para plantear un nuevo procedimiento abierto de adjudicación del mismo, y así abrir un nuevo
puesto y generar empleo y riqueza. En este punto, recuerda que en el Mercado Municipal, sito en la calle
Mascona de Morro Jable, ya existen una cafetería, una
pescadería, carnicería, parafarmacia, puntos de venta de productos lácteos, gallegos, ibéricos y alemanes, así como frutería.

STALLS
The Sociedad Mercantil Gestora Agropecuaria de
Pájara is selling three stalls on the Municipal Market
of Morro Jable (through Public Auctioning) for a
renewable period of two years. This comes as a
response to the promotion project of the primary sector in the area, the commercialisation of its production
and the boosting of the commercial activity and
creation of employment.
The Agriculture, Livestock, Fishing and Markets
Councillor, Juan Tomás Armas Alonso, confirms that
this project aims to ensure that neighbours and
consumers are able to find on the market some fresh
products from the local primary sector with the
guarantee of quality and good service.
The town councillor invites neighbours to come and
visit the Market and reminds all that one stall is still
available. The opening of a new stall will create
employment and wealth. The Municipal Market
situated in Calle Mascona in Morro Jable already has
a cafeteria, a fishmonger’s shop, a shirt shop, a
chemist, some dairy, Galician, Iberian and German
products stalls and fruit stalls.

Pájara wird die drei zum Verkauf stehenden Stände
auf dem öffentlichen Markt von Morro Jable (durch ein

Frist von zwei Jahren zuteilen. Dies soll zur Förderung
des Primärsektors des Ortes, der Vermarktung der
einheimischen Produkte, der Förderung des Handels
und der Schaffung von Arbeitsplätzen beitragen.
Der Beauftragte für Landwirtschaft, Viehzucht,
Fischerei und Markt, Juan Tomás Armas Alonso, der
auch Alleinverwalter der genannten Gesellschaft ist,
betont, dass den Anwohnern und Verbrauchern ein
Markt mit all jenen frischen Produkten, die vom
Primärsektor des Ortes erzeugt werden, mit einer
Garantie für Qualität und einem guten Service zur
Verfügung gestellt werden muss.
Er fordert die Bürger auf, den Markt zu besuchen,
und erinnert sie daran, dass einer der Stände frei ist
und dass sich Interessenten mit der Gesellschaft für
Landwirtschaft der Gemeinde in Verbindung setzen
können, um ein neues offenes Verfahren und die
Zuteilung von diesem zu beantragen und dadurch einen
neuen Stand zu eröffnen, wodurch Beschäftigung und
Reichtum geschaffen wird. Er erinnert daran, dass es
auf dm Markt der Gemeinde, in der Calle Mascona von
Morro Jable, schon ein Café, einen Fischstand, einen
Fleischstand, einen Drogeriemarkt und Verkaufsstände
für Milchprodukte, galizische, spanische und deutsche
Produkte sowie einen Obststand gibt.

Since the Ayuntamiento incorporated Spain’s Horizon

Tourism and commerce, the plan adopted to reach the
desired excellence in tourism has been producing
results and adopted as the key strategy to improve
image, information and services in the municipality.
The project of tourism excellence called «La Oliva
2020» aims for the creation of a plan whose strategy
of tourism development is based on competitiveness
and environment, social and economical sustainability.
La Oliva is the first municipality in Fuerteventura and
one of only three municipalities in the Canaries to
incorporate the Horizon 2020 strategy.

El Colegio de Educación Infantil y Primaria de Corralejo ha sido bautizado como Josefina Plá en memoria
a la intelectual polifacética que nació en Isla de Lobos
en 1903 falleció en Paraguay en el año 1999.
Con casi un centenar de obras, la poetisa,
dramaturga, narradora, ensayista, ceramista, crítica
de arte, pintora y periodista Josefina Plá estuvo varias
veces postulada para el Premio Cervantes y fue varias
veces candidata a los Premios Príncipe de Asturias. A
lo largo de su vida recibió numerosos premios y distinciones no sólo por su labor literaria, sino también por
su defensa de los derechos humanos y de la igualdad
entre mujeres y hombres.

and journalist, Josefina Plá was put forward on various
occasion for the Premio Cervantes and was a candidate
various times for the Premios Príncipe de Asturias. All
through her life she received various awards and
distinctions for not only her literary achievements but
also for defending human rights and equality of sexes.

Die Kleinkindertagesstätte und Grundschule von
Corralejo wurde Josefina Plá genannt, in Erinnerung
an die vielseitige Intellektuelle, die 1903 auf der Insel
Lobos geboren wurde und 1999 in Paraguay starb.
Die Dichterin, Dramaturgin, Erzählerin, Essayistin,
Keramikerin, Kunstkritikerin, Malerin und Journalistin
Josefina Plá, die fast hundert Werke hinterließ, wurde
mehrmals für die Preise „Premio Cervantes» und „Premios Príncipe de Asturias» nominiert. Im Laufe ihres
Lebens erhielt sie nicht nur für ihre literarischen Werke,
sondern auch für ihren Einsatz für die Verteidigung der

EN LA MEJORA DE LA CARRETERA DE
AGUAS VERDES
La Consejería de Infraestructuras del Cabido, invertirá un total de 294.000 euros en la contratación del
proyecto para la mejora de la carretera de Aguas Verdes (Betancuria), entre los puntos kilométricos 3,5 y
7,5. El plazo de ejecución de los trabajos será de tres
meses, contabilizados a partir de la firma de la adjudicación de la obra.
Los trabajos se centrarán en la instalación de una
nueva capa de asfáltica de unos 5 cm de espesor,
complementado con la mejora del drenaje, ejecución
de obras de fábrica en las cunetas para la canalización de aguas, completar la superficie de la calzada
que debido a la erosión se ha ido perdiendo, etc. También se procederá a colocar toda la señalización de
nuevo y medidas de seguridad, debido al deterioro de
la que estaba instalada.
THE CABILDO INVESTS 294.00 EUROS TO
IMPROVE ROADS IN AGUAS VERDES
The Infrastructures Council of the Cabildo, will invest
294.000 euros to improve the road in Aguas Verdes
(Betancuria), between km 3,5 and km 7,5. The project
will take three months to be completed from the
signature of the contract.
The project will consist mainly of installing a 5 cm
layer of asphalt, which will be complimented by new
drains. The road will be widened as erosion had made
it narrower. New road signs and safety measures will
also be introduced as the existing ones are quite
deteriorated.

Das Amt für Infrastrukturen des Cabildo wird
insgesamt 294.000 Euros für das Projekt für die
Verbesserung der Autostraße von Aguas Verdes (Betancuria) zwischen den Kilometerpunkten 3,5 und 7,5
investieren. Die Bauarbeiten werden ab der Zuweisung
drei Monate dauern.
Im Laufe der Arbeiten wird eine neue, 5 cm dicke
Asphaltschicht aufgetragen, dazu kommt die
Verbesserung der Drainage, Ausführung der Arbeiten
von Gräben für die Kanalisierung des Wassers,
Vervollständigung der Oberfläche der befestigten
Straße, die aufgrund einer Erosion verloren gegangen
ist usw. Außerdem wird die gesamte Beschilderung,
die In einem sehr schlechten Zustand war, erneuert.
Dazu kommen weitere Sicherheitsmaßnahmen.
Fiesta de inauguración de nueva tienda de
ropa estilo urbano y casual
El pasado mes de agosto, se inauguró la tienda de
ropa Cool Monkey, en un centro comercial de Puerto
del Rosario. La nueva tienda ofrece un sinfín de prendas de moda casual y urbana, de rabiosa actualidad
y tendencia, que vestirá a jóvenes y no tan jóvenes
en la isla.
El evento estaba cargado de estilo y buen gusto,
haciendo de esta inauguración algo diferente:
maniquíes vivientes, pasarela a ritmo de dj en vivo y
una decoración exquisita, hicieron de la inauguración
una fiesta por todo lo alto para la sociedad majorera,
que calificó el evento como único y diferente al resto
de cualquier otro de este genero que se hubiese celebrado en la isla. La organización integral del evento
corrió a cargo de la agencia Bellemodel, empresa profesional en la organización de eventos y moda en Fuerteventura.

Last August the clothing shop Cool Monkey was
inaugurated in Puerto del Rosario’s commercial Centre. The new shop offers a wide choice of casual and
urban wear, to the latest trend for all generations.
The event was very stylish and tasteful, making this
inauguration quite unique: live models, catwalk with
live animation by a DJ and exquisite decoration. This
inauguration became a great party for the Majorero
society who described the event as unique and
different from anything else ever organised on the
island. The whole event was organised by the
Bellemodel agency, a professional business dedicated
to the organisation of events and fashion shows in
Fuerteventura.

Im August wurde das Modegeschäft Cool Monkey
in einem Einkaufszentrum von Puerto del Rosario
eröffnet. In dem neuen Geschäft gibt es zahlreiche
total aktuelle Kleidungsstücke im casual und urbanen
Stil, mit denen sich junge und weniger junge Bewohner
der Insel kleiden werden.
Die stilvolle und geschmackvolle Gestaltung machte
aus diesem Event etwas besonderes: Lebendige
Schaufensterpuppen, Laufsteg mit DJ und eine
erlesene Dekoration machten aus dieser Eröffnung
ein großes Fest für die Gesellschaft von Fuerteventura, die dieses Ereignis als einzigartig qualifizierte, das
sich von allen anderen derartigen Events unterschied,
die bis jetzt auf der Insel stattgefunden haben. Für
die gesamte Organisation des Events war die Agentur
Bellemodel zuständig, ein professionelles
Unternehmen, das auf Fuerteventura Events und
Modeveranstaltungen organisiert.

«Desde la primera aplicación el cambio
es espectacular»
Hemos acudido a Fotosan, Centro de
Fotodepilación Sanitaria y Láser Vascular, para que
sus propietarios nos contesten a todas esas preguntas que nos hacemos respecto a este tipo de tratamientos y que a veces quedan en el aire.
Eduardo López y Juan Francisco Jaén son enfermeros graduados y Beatriz Gutiérrez, técnica sanitaria y estética. Además son el equipo profesional
que atiende personalmente a los clientes de
Fotosan. Pero es a Juan Francisco a quien vamos a
bombardear con todas nuestras dudas.
Juan Francisco, ¿en qué consiste la
fotodepilación?
Es un proceso mediante el cual se elimina el vello
de forma progresiva, permanente y duradera utilizando la luz.
¿Con qué sistema trabajan de todos los que
existen en el mercado?
En estos momentos el más avanzado es la luz pulsada para foto-depilación, que emplea el principio
de la termólisis selectiva. Brevemente, consiste en
una energía en forma de luz que a través de la melanina quema el folículo piloso. Por ello pieles muy
oscuras o con vello muy rubio o canoso, no se pueden tratar. También realizamos tratamientos combinados de luz pulsada y láser vascular como es el
caso del vello facial o en determinadas zonas de
más difícil acceso. El mismo láser que usamos para
eliminar las arañas vasculares, pero con otros parámetros, nos permite trabajar casi pelo a pelo para
eliminarlo.
¿Entonces el sol tiene una importancia relevante
en la fotodepilación?
Sí, va a depender del fototipo de la piel de cada
cliente y por supuesto de la época del año. Como
norma general podríamos decir que se evitará al
menos 15 días antes y después de las sesiones.
Luego como la separación entre una y otra se prolonga bastante si pueden broncearse. Por eso acon-
tratamiento como son ingles y piernas, mientras que
en el rostro casi siempre hay un problema hormonal
de fondo y el tratamiento lleva un proceso diferente y
es más lento.
¿En qué es diferente en el caso de hombres y
mujeres? ¿Afecta la edad en el resultado?
Comenzamos esta temporada,
en septiembre, con unas tarifas
más atractivas para los clientes
sejamos que estos tratamientos se comiencen en
el otoño e invierno, con la seguridad que para el
verano siguiente estarán sin vello por el que preocuparse.
Pero estando aquí en Fuerteventura, donde ir al
mar, es uno de los atractivos, ¿es posible bañarse con cuidado de no exponerse luego al sol, si
la zona que se está tratando lo permite, al no
estar permanentemente expuesta?
Sí claro, también va a depender de la zona tratada y en cualquier caso, el baño en la playa no es
ningún inconveniente, siempre y cuando se tenga
en cuenta el horario y protector solares.
¿Cada cuánto tiempo y cuántas veces se necesita realizar este tipo de tratamiento?
Desde la primera aplicación el cambio es espectacular, pero en general, el promedio esta en ocho sesiones, que comienzan siendo cada mes y medio y
que luego se van separando en el tiempo según se
avanza en el número de tratamientos. Así no va a ser
lo mismo en hombres que en mujeres, o en alguien
de 20 o de 40 años, a más años menos sesiones.
Además algunas zonas responden más rápido al
Efectivamente tanto la edad como el sexo están
muy relacionadas con la formación de nuevos folículos pilosos, en ambos casos principalmente por
el efecto hormonal.
La gran pregunta… ¿Es doloroso?
El dolor depende principalmente de la cantidad y
del grosor del vello, por ejemplo, si lo comparamos
con la depilación a la cera es menos doloroso, pero
para quien no tiene esta experiencia previa, la sensación es algo molesta, aunque no insoportable.
También influye el tiempo y la extensión que se
trate en cada sesión, aunque por lógica cada sesión es menos molesta porque cada vez hay menos
vello.
Otra pregunta importante, ¿es tan caro como se
suele creer?
Al comienzo esta tecnología era más cara, porque
tanto los aparatos como todos los suministros eran
de muy alto precio, pero poco a poco y debido a la
demanda, esto está disminuyendo considerablemente. En la actualidad el precio depende mucho de la
tecnología que se utilice, de la preparación del personal, si son sanitarios quienes lo aplican y también, al

ser cada vez más habitual su uso, el aumento de clientes nos permite mejorar los precios. De hecho nosotros comenzamos esta temporada, en septiembre,
con tarifas más atractivas para los clientes.
Volviendo al láser vascular del que nos hablaba
antes, ¿qué otras aplicaciones o tratamientos se
realizan con este aparato?
Todas las lesiones de origen vascular, por ejemplo, telangiectasias, puntos rubí, angiomas,
couperose, enrojecimientos difusos en el rostro, etc.
Estos tratamientos con láser, ¿son dolorosos?
Son perfectamente soportables, aunque si se sienten ciertas molestias.
¿Cuántas sesiones son necesarias para hacer
desaparecer las antiestéticas arañas varicosas?
En este caso, el tratamiento es individual. No va a
ser lo mismo tratar una arañita vascular aislada en
una zona, que probablemente desaparecerá en una
sola sesión a tratar miembros inferiores completos
con varices difusas en toda su extensión, que pueden llevar 4 o 5 sesiones en intervalos de dos meses cada una.
¿Hay algún riesgo al hacer desaparecer estas
venitas?
No, nuestro flujo sanguíneo es una red inmensa
que no se va a ver afectada, aunque algunos capilares sean destruidos por necesidades a veces estéticas o, en el caso de varices graves, por salud.
¿Es conveniente que las personas que van a
someterse a algún tratamiento de láser o de luz
pulsada se cuiden la piel previamente?
Es imprescindible que tengan la piel bien hidratada, si tienen una piel en malas condiciones no podemos realizar el tratamiento. Les pedimos que previamente se hidraten tanto externamente como cuidando su alimentación antes de tratarlos y también
es muy aconsejable que se hagan masajes y tratamientos que mejoren el aspecto y el equilibrio tanto
de su piel como de su riego sanguíneo.

«The change is incredible from the first
treatment»
We are visiting FOTOSAN, the Laser Hair Removal
and Vascular Centre in order to meet with the owners
and get answers to all those questions that we all
have regarding those types of treatments which
sometimes stay unanswered.
Eduardo López and Juan Francisco Jaén are
registered nurses and Beatriz Gutiérrez, health and
aesthetics’ technician. There is also a professional
team that personally takes care of the Fotosan
clients. But it is Juan Fransisco who is going to
answer our numerous questions.
Juan Francisco, can you please explain what
laser hair removal is?
It is a process that uses light to eliminate hair in a
progressive, permanent and lasting manner.
Out of all the systems available, which one are
you using?
At present the most advanced system for laser hair
removal is Pulsed Light that uses the principle of
selective thermolysis. In short, it consists of energy in
the form of light that burns the hair follicle through
the melanin. This is why dark skin or very blond or
white hair cannot be treated. We also carry out
treatments that combine Pulsed Light and Vascular
Laser, for example on facial hair or in some areas that
are difficult to access. The same laser that is used to
remove varicose veins, but with other parameters,
allows us to remove almost one hair at a time.
Is the sun very important in laser hair removal?
Yes, it depends on the skin phototype of each client
and of course the time of the year. As a norm sun
exposure should be avoided 15 days before and after
the sessions. Then, as sessions get further apart it
is possible to sunbathe. This is why we recommend
clients to start their treatment in autumn or winter
to ensure that they won’t have to worry about hair
by the time summer comes.
But as we are in Fuerteventura, where swimming
is one of the main hobbies, is it possible carry on
swimming while being careful and not exposing
the treated area in the sun?
Yes, of course, it also depends on the area that is
being treated and in any case going for a swim is
not a problem as long as we are careful not to go
when the sun is at its warmest and use sun screens.
How often and how many times is the treatment
repeated?
The result is incredible from the first treatment,
but generally, we aim for eight sessions that start
with a frequency of every month and a half and that

Are those laser treatments painful?
They are quite bearable, although they may
generate some discomfort.
How many sessions are necessary in order to get
rid of unsightly varicose veins?
It depends on each individual case. It is different
to treat a small isolated varicose vein in one area
where it will probably disappear after one session
than to treat entire lower limbs with many varicose
veins that will require 4 or 5 sessions with a two
month gap between each session.
Are there any risks in getting rid of such veins?
No, our blood flows through an immense network that
will not be affected if some capillaries are destroyed for
aesthetic reasons or varicose veins for health reasons.
Should people who are due to receive some kind
of laser or Pulsed Light treatment take particular care of their skin beforehand?
It is indispensable for the skin to be well hydrated
as we cannot treat skin that is in bad condition. We
ask clients to hydrate their skin externally and also
to take special care in their diet before the treatment
and it is also advisable for them to get massages
and treatments that improve the aspect and balance of both the skin and the blood flow.
We also offer an aromatherapy line of natural and
ecological products, that contain no perfumes or chemical
agents with facial treatments applied in cabins that can
be continued at home and produce very good results.

Juan Francisco, was ist genau die
Photoepilation?

Mit welchem der Systeme, die man auf dem
Markt vorfindet, arbeiten Sie?
Zurzeit ist bei der Photoepilation die am weitesten
entwickelte Technik das pulsierende Licht, wobei das
System der selektiven Thermolyse verwendet wird.
Ich beschreibe es kurz: Es besteht aus einer Energie
in Form von Licht, das durch Melanin das Haarfollikel
verbrennt. Deshalb kann man damit keine sehr
dunkle Haut oder Haut mit sehr blondem oder
ergrautem Körperhaar behandeln. Wir führen auch
Behandlungen durch, bei denen pulsierendes Licht
und Gefäßlaser kombiniert werden. Dies machen wir
bei Gesichtshaar oder in bestimmten weniger leicht
zugänglichen Körperbereichen. Es ist der gleiche
Laser, den wir verwenden, um Blutmale zu entfernen,
aber mit anderen Parametern, was es uns
ermöglicht, fast Haar an Haar zu arbeiten, um es zu
entfernen.
Es scheint, dass die Sonne bei der
Photoepilation eine wichtige Rolle spielt?

vor allem mit den Hormonen zu tun.
Wir beginnen im September die

sonnen. Deshalb empfehlen wir diese Behandlungen
im Herbst oder im Winter zu beginnen, weil die
Kunden dann sicher sein können, dass sie im
nächsten Sommer keine Körperhaare mehr haben.
Aber auf Fuerteventura gehört es zu den
Vorteilen, dass man ans Meer gehen kann. Darf
man schwimmen ohne sich danach zu sonnen,
wenn der Körperteil, an dem die Behandlung
durchgeführt wird nicht ständig unbedeckt ist?
Ja natürlich. Das hängt auch davon ab, welcher
Körperteil behandelt wird. Das Baden am Strand ist
kein Problem, wenn man gewisse Tageszeiten
meidet und Sonnencreme verwendet.
Wie oft muss man diese Behandlung
durchführen?
Ab der ersten Behandlung ist die Veränderung
spektakulär, aber normalerweise braucht man 8
Sitzungen. Anfangs sind sie alle eineinhalb Monate
und dann werden die Abstände länger. Aber es hängt
auch vom Geschlecht und vom Alter des Kunden ab.
Je älter man ist, desto weniger Sitzungen braucht
man. Außerdem funktioniert diese Behandlung an
Die große Frage … schmerzt das?
Der Schmerz hängt vor allem von der Länge und
der Dichte der Körperhaare ab. Es schmerzt weniger
als die Depilation mit Wachs. Wer diese Erfahrung
nicht gemacht hat, wird es etwas unangenehm aber
nicht unerträglich finden.
Es kommt auch darauf an welcher Körperteil in
einer Sitzung behandelt wird und wie lange es
dauert, aber logischerweise tut es bei jeder Sitzung
weniger weh, weil man immer weniger Haare hat.
Eine andere wichtige Frage: ist das so teuer wie
man meint?
Als diese Technologie neu war, war sie teurer, weil
sowohl die Apparate als auch alles Material sehr
teuer waren. Nach und nach sind die Preise
gesunken. Das liegt auch an der großen Nachfrage.
Heute ist der Preis vor allem davon abhängig, welche
Technologie eingesetzt wird und von der
Qualifizierung des Personals. Ob die Behandlung von
Sanitätern ausgeführt wird oder nicht, Dadurch, dass
es mehr Kunden gibt, ist es möglich, die Preise zu
reduzieren. Wir beginnen im September die Saison
mit besonders günstigen Preisen für die Kunden.

Kommen wir zum Gefäßlaser zurück, über den
wir vorher gesprochen haben. Welche anderen
Behandlungen werden noch mit diesem Apparat
durchgeführt?
Alle Verletzungen der Gefäße, zum Beispiel,
Teleangiektasien, Angiome, Rubinflecken,
Couperose, Rötungen im Gesicht usw..
Sind diese Behandlungen mit dem Laser
schmerzhaft?
Man kann sie gut ertragen, auch wenn sie ein
bisschen weh tun.
Wie viele Sitzungen sind notwendig, um die
hässlichen Blutmale zu entfernen?
In diesem Fall kommt es auf die Situation an. Es
ist nicht das gleiche, ein kleines Blutmal zu
behandeln, das wahrscheinlich in einer einzigen
Sitzung entfernt werden kann, wie die Behandlung
von Körperteilen voller Krampfadern. Für letzteres
kann man 4 oder 5 Sitzungen in Abständen von 2
Monaten brauchen.
Besteht ein Risiko bei der Entfernung der Adern?
Nein, unser Blutfluss ist so stark, dass es ihn nicht
beeinträchtigt, wenn einige Kapillare aus
kosmetischen oder gesundheitlichen Gründen
entfernt werden.
Ist es empfehlenswert die Haut zu pflegen, bevor
man irgendeine Behandlung mit Laser oder
pulsierendem Licht beginnt?
Der Feuchtigkeitshaushalt der Haut muss in
Ordnung sein. Bei einer schlechten Haut können wir
die Behandlung nicht durchführen. Wir bitten unsere
Kunden bevor wir mit der Behandlung anfangen,
dass sie ihre Haut mit Feuchtigkeit versorgen und

DOSIS Y FORMA DE ADMINISTRACIÓN
Tanto para uso interno como externo se prepara en
infusión al 3-5% = 30-50 grs. de planta para un litro de
agua; o una cucharada de las de sopa de 10 mls. = 3-5
grs. de parte aérea seca de bolsa de pastor, para una
taza de agua de 150 mls., verter el agua hirviendo sobre la planta, dejar reposar tapada durante 5 a 10 mins.,
para después colar y tomar. Tres veces al día.
EJEMPLOS DE UTILIZACIÓN
Bolsa de pastor como remedio antihemorrágico
- En caso de hemorragia nasal un buen remedio
consiste en taponar la fosa nasal sangrante con una
bola de algodón que se ha empapado en una infusión
de bolsa de pastor.
- La experiencia personal en la consulta cuando se
ha recomendado esta planta para limitar el sangrado
excesivo durante la menstruación (menorragias) ha resultado gratificante.

Hierba cuyas virtudes medicinales son conocidas
desde la antigüedad en diferentes culturas y lugares
del mundo. Su característica fundamental es la forma
del fruto de la planta que recuerda a las antiguas bolsas de cuero que utilizaban los pastores y que da nombre a la planta.
DESCRIPCIÓN
Planta herbácea de no más de medio metro de altura cuyos tallos estirados y un tanto estriados arrancan del suelo de entre una roseta de hojas alargadas
y dentadas, de los nudos del tallo parten algunas hojas de menor tamaño y no dentadas. Las flores son
pequeñas y blancas, de cuatro pétalos. El fruto característico es triangular, como un corazón, que recuerda
a la bolsa de cuero de los pastores.

Herb whose medicinal virtues have been known since
antiquity in various cultures and places worldwide. Its
fundamental characteristic is in the shape of its fruit
that is shaped like an old fashioned leather bag that
shepherds used to use, which it was named after.
DESCRIPTION
Herbaceous plant that measures up to half a metre
and whose long stripy stems grow from a rosette of
long and dented leaves, some smaller straight leaves
also grow from the base. Flowers are small and white
with four petals. The characteristic fruit is triangular,
heart shaped, like a shepherd’s leather bag.
ORIGINS AND ECOLOGY
It is believed that it originates from Mediterranean
countries and later extended to the rest of the world.
It was introduced, naturalised, grows wild and can
adapt to any climate or terrain.
LOCATION
It grows in uncultivated fields and on paths on the
islands of Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria,
Tenerife, La Palma, La Gomera and El Hierro.

Ein Kraut, dessen Heilkräfte seit dem Altertum in
verschiedenen Kulturen und an verschiedenen Orten
der Welt bekannt sind. Das Hauptmerkmal dieser
Pflanze ist die Form ihrer Frucht, die an die alten
Ledertaschen der Hirten erinnert, nach denen sie
benannt wurde.
BESCHREIBUNG
Krautartige Pflanze, die nicht höher als einen halben
Meter wird. Dünne und etwas gerillte Stängel schießen
inmitten einer Rosette aus länglichen und zackigen
Blättern aus dem Boden. Am Stil wachsen einige
kleinere, nicht zackige Blätter. Die Blüten sind klein
und weiß und haben vier Blütenblätter. Die
charakteristische Frucht ist dreieckig wie ein Herz und
erinnert an die Ledertaschen der Hirten.
URSPRUNG UND ÖKOLOGIE
Man glaubt, dass diese Pflanze ursprünglich aus den
Mittelmeerländern stammt und sich im Laufe ihrer
Geschichte in der ganzen Welt verbreitet hat. Sie wurde
eingeführt und heimisch gemacht, wächst wild und
passt sich an jedes Klima und Gelände an.

SCHÄDLICHE NEBENWIRKUNGEN,
UNVEREINBARKEITEN UND VORSICHT
Bei langer oder falscher Anwendung dieser Pflanze
können Behandlungen gegen zu hohen oder zu
niedrigen Blutdruck beeinträchtigt werden und es kann
eine Störung der Schilddrüsenfunktion auftreten. Das
Hirtentäschel hat eine stimulierende Wirkung auf die
Gebärmutter und darf deshalb nicht während der
Schwangerschaft verwendet werden.
DOSIERUNG UND ART DER ANWENDUNG
Sowohl für die innere als auch für die äußere
Anwendung wird eine Infusion der Pflanze 3-5 % = 3050 gr. auf einen Liter Wasser verwendet oder ein
Suppenlöffel von 10 ml. = 3-5 gr. der getrockneten
Pflanze auf eine Tasse Wasser von 150 ml. Man gießt
das kochende Wasser über die Pflanze, lässt alles
abgedeckt 5 bis 10 Min. ziehen, seiht es ab und trinkt
die Infusion. Drei Mal täglich.
BEISPIELE FÜR DIE VERWENDUNG
Hirtentäschel als blutstillendes Mittel
Bei Nasenbluten ist es ein gutes Mittel, die
Nasenhöhle mit einem Wattebausch zu verschließen,
die vorher in eine Hirtentäschel-Infusion getunkt wird.
Die persönliche Erfahrung in der Praxis, wenn diese
Pflanze zur Linderung von zu starkem Blutfluss
während der Menstruation verabreicht wurde
(Menorrhagien), ist positiv.
Blutstillende Infusion aus Hirtentäschel und anderen
Pflanzen
- Hirtentäschel, 25 gr.
- Samen der Mariendistel, 25 gr.
- Blätter und Spitzen von Brennnesseln, 25 gr.
- Equisetumstängel, 25 gr.
Einen Löffel von 10 ml. = 5 gr. der Mischung nehmen,
kochendes Wasser über die Pflanzen in eine Tasse von
150 ml. gießen, abgedeckt 5-10 Min ziehen lassen
und dann filtern. Drei Mal täglich trinken.

Las dos bebidas alcohólicas que se acaban de poner en venta en
el mercado mundial, en colaboración con la famosa destilería
«Boroni» de Spiazzo en Italia, están destiladas únicamente a base
de flores de aloe. Este aloe se cultiva de manera completamente
natural desde hace 7 años. La firma Boroni es una antigua destilería familiar que produce Grappa desde el año 1849. Todavía utilizan
el antiguo método con cobre, destilando el alcohol lentamente al
fuego. Trabajando de esa manera con las flores de aloe se mejora
su sabor. Además no se filtra y no se utiliza aditivos. Cuando se
filtra un producto, se queda la mayor parte del sabor en el filtro; al
no hacerlo se mejora su sabor. Boroni trabaja con restaurantes de
alta categoría por todo el mundo.
Estos dos productos ya se han distribuido en Tokyo, New-York,
París, Londres, etc. Es por eso que es un privilegio poder contar
con el aval de esa empresa así como poder mostrar su marca en las
etiquetas.
Uno de los dos nuevos productos se llama «Distillato di Aloe
vera di Fuerteventura», y está elaborado con el mismo proceso que
la Grappa, que se elabora con uva, a diferencia estos productos. El
«Distillato» se toma como digestivo (a temperatura ambiente después de la comida) o acompañado de un rico café italiano.
El otro producto, denominado «Liquore di Aloe di Fuerteventura», contiene menos alcohol y es más dulce. El «Liquore» se bebe
con hielo picado; es muy sabroso frío después de la comida o en
cualquier otro momento. Ambos productos tienen su propio sabor
y perfume del producto original, la flor de aloe.

A short history about our two alcoholic beverages we have put
on the world-wide market together with the world-famous distillery
«Boroni» in Spiazzo, Italy.
The two drinks have both been distilled from only the flowers
from the Aloe Vera plant. Our Aloe Vera plants have been
grown ecologically for the last 7 years. Boroni is an old family
distillery who has been making Grappa since 1849. They still use
the old method of the copper still distillating the alcohol slowly with
real fire. By working this way the Aloe flowers get distilled slowly
witch improves the taste. Furthermore it does not get filtered and
no additives have been used. By filtering a product, a lot of the
taste stays in the filter, so that alone improves the product.
Boroni works with «upper-class» restaurants world-wide. Our
two products have already been distributed to Tokyo, New-York,
Paris, London etc. So you can imagine that it’s a privilege for us to
work with this company and that they have put there name to these
two products.
One of our products is called «Distillato di Aloe Vera di Fuerteventura», witch is made the same way as the Grappa. As the
connoisseurs know, the Grappa is made from only grapes.
Therefore our product is called «Distillato». The »Distillato» is best
served as a digestive (at room-temperature after dinner), together
with a nice (Italian) coffee.
Our other product is called «Liquore di Aloe Vera di Fuerteventura», it is less in it’s alcohol percentage, softer and a little sweeter of
taste. The «Liquore» is best served with crushed ice, nice and cold,
after dinner or whenever you feel like a taste.
Both product have got there distinctive perfume and the aroma
of the original material, the Aloe Vera flower!

DER ERSTE DER WELT!
Eine kurze Geschichte über unsere beiden alkoholischen
Getränke, die wir gemeinsam mit der international berühmten
Destillerie „Boroni» aus Spiazzo, Italien, auf den Weltmarkt gebracht
haben.
Die beiden Getränke werden ausschließlich aus Blüten der Aloe
Vera destilliert. Unsere Aloe Vera Pflanzen wurden in den vergangen
sieben Jahren ökologisch behandelt. Boroni ist eine alte
Familiendestillerie, die seit 1849 Grappa produziert. Dort wird noch
die alte Methode verwendet, nach der der Alkohol langsam und bei
richtigem Feuer in Kupfergefäßen destilliert wird. Durch dieses
Verfahren werden die Aloe Blüten langsam destilliert, wodurch der
Geschmack verbessert wird. Außerdem wird nicht gefiltert und es
werden keine Zusätze verwendet. Schon dadurch wird das Produkt
verbessert, denn wenn ein Produkt gefiltert wird, bleiben viele
Geschmacksstoffe in dem Filter. Boroni arbeitet mit exklusiven Restaurants auf der ganzen Welt zusammen. Unsere beiden Produkte
wurden schon nach Tokyo, New York, Paris, London usw.
geliefert. Nun können Sie sich vorstellen, dass es ein Privileg für
uns ist, mit dieser Firma zusammen zu arbeiten und dass sie diesen
beiden Produkten ihren Namen gegeben hat.
Eines unserer Produkte heißt „Distillato» di Aloe Vera di Fuerteventura», und es wird auf die gleiche Weise hergestellt wie Grappa.
Wie die Kenner wissen, wird Grappa ausschließlich aus Trauben
hergestellt. Deshalb heißt unser Produkt „Distillato».
Der „Distillato» wird am besten als Digestiv (nach dem Abendessen
bei Zimmertemperatur), zusammen mit einem guten (italienischen)
Kaffee serviert.
Unser anderes Produkt heißt „Liquore di Aloe Vera di Fuerteventura». Dieser Likör enthält weniger Alkohol und ist leichter und etwas
süßer. Er wird am besten nach dem Abendessen oder immer wenn
Sie Lust darauf haben kalt und hübsch zubereitet mit zerkleinertem
Eis serviert.
Beide Produkte haben den besonderen Duft und das Aroma des
Rohmaterials, der Aloe Vera Blüte!
