Horsetail Herb is a herbal remedy for urinary tract disorders.
This medicinal tea is used innerly in case of existing oedema or oedema caused by injury,
as well as for flushing the revulsive urinary tract and in cases of renal gravel.
Horsetail Herb is used externally for the treatment of poorly healing wounds.
dosage and type of application
Unless prescribed otherwise, drink 1 cup of tea infusion 3 times a day, prepared as
follows: pour 1 tea bag or 2 teaspoons (approximately 2 g) of Horsetail Herb with boiling
water (approximately 150 ml) and steep for 10 to 15 minutes. Afterwards loose tea is
strained through a sieve if necessary.
Advice: pay attention to additional sufficient liquid supply.
For the preparation of compresses, put 10 g Horsetail Herb to 1 litre of water.
contraindications
Hypersensitivity (allergy) to horsetail herb. A rinsing therapy is not indicated in the case of
fluid retention (oedema) caused by impaired heart or kidney function.
