Diskontinuierliche Kesselvulkanisation
Die Vulkanisation ist ein temperaturabhängiger, irreversibler Prozess in dem die plastische Kautschukmischung
in elastisches Gummi umgewandelt wird. Grundsätzlich unterscheidet man kontinuierliche und diskontinuierliche Vulkanisationsverfahren.
Dätwyler verfügt sowohl über kontinuierliche Fertigungsanlagen als
auch über eine diskontinuierliche
Fertigungsanlage (Kesselvulkanisation).
Welches Vulkanisationsverfahren
zur Anwendung kommt, ist abhängig von der Geometrie und dem
Anforderungsprofil des zu fertigenden Produktes, sowie den zu fertigenden Stückzahlen.
Bei der diskontinuierlichen Vulkanisation werden die bereits während
der Extrusion profilierten Halbfabrikate in einem Dampfkessel (Autoklaven) bei Dampfdruck zwischen 5
und 6 bar und Temperaturen zwischen 140 - 210 °C entsprechend
vulkanisiert.
