Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the LINDY Audio DAC 96K. This convertor allows you to input digital audio,
including sampling rates up to 24 bit/96KHz, through a coaxial or optical port and output analogue audio
through left and right phono ports. For added convenience the Audio DAC 96K is powered from a USB
port, allowing discreet installation near your PC, TV or AV receiver without taking up an additional power
outlet.

Installation
Important: Before you begin installing this product, please ensure that all equipment is turned off.
1. Connect the audio source device(s) to the relevant input ports on the DAC using TOSLink or Coaxial
cables.
2. Connect the Phono/RCA output ports of the DAC to the appropriate input on your AV Receiver,
Amplifier or Active Speakers using a twin phono cable.
3. Finally connect the USB DC cable to the power socket of the DAC and to a USB port on your PC, TV,
Media Player, AV Receiver or a USB power Supply (not included).
Please Note: If both TOSLink and Coaxial cables are connected simultaenously the DAC will give
priority to the TOSLink input.

Einführung
Vielen Dank für den Kauf des LINDY Audio DAC 96K. Dieser Konverter ermöglicht es Ihnen digitale
Audiosignale, bis zu einer Samplerate von 24Bit/96KHz, über einen koaxialen oder optischen Anschluss
einzuspeisen und analoge Audiosignale über Phono-Anschlüsse (links/rechts) auszugeben. Für
zusätzlichen Komfort sorgt der USB Port, über welchen der Konverter unauffällig vom PC, dem TV-Gerät
oder einem AV Receiver mit Strom versorgt wird, ohne dass man eine zusätzliche Stromquelle benötigt.

Installation
Wichtig: Bitte prüfen Sie vor der Installation ob alle Geräte und das Zubehör ausgeschalten sind.
1. Verbinden Sie die Audioquelle mit den gewünschten Ports (TOSLink oder Koaxial)
2. Verbinden Sie die Phono/RCA Ausgangsports mit dem geeigneten Anschluss Ihres AV Receivers,
Verstärkers oder der aktiven Lautsprecher mittels Cinch-Kabel.
3. Zuletzt verbinden Sie das beiliegende USB DC Kabel mit dem dazugehörigen Anschluss des
Konverters und mit dem USB Port an Ihrem PC, TV-Gerät, Media Players, AV Receiver oder eines
USB Netzteils (nicht inklusive).
Achtung: Wenn sowohl TOSLink und Koaxial-Kabel am Konverter angeschossen sind, wird vom
Konverter vorrangig der TOSLink Eingang genutzt.

Introduction
Merci d’avoir choisi le LINDY Audio DAC 96K. Ce convertisseur vous permet d’entrer un signal audio
numérique, incluant des fréquences d’échantillonnage jusqu’à 24 bit/96KHz, via un port coaxial ou
optique et de le sortir sous forme d’un signal audio analogique via une connectique RCA stéréo droite et
gauche. Pour plus de commodité, l’Audio DAC 96K est alimenté à partir du port USB, permettant une
installation discrète à proximité de votre PC, TV ou récepteur audio/vidéo sans monopoliser une prise de
courant supplémentaire.

Installation
Important: avant de débuter l’installation de ce produit, assurez-vous que tous les équipement soient
mis hors tension.
1. Connectez le(s) appareil(s) source(s) audio aux ports correspondant sur le DAC en utilisant des
câbles TOSLink ou RCA/Coaxial.
2. Connectez les ports de sortie RCA du DAC à l’entrée correspondante de votre récepteur
audio/vidéo, amplificateur ou haut-parleurs actifs en utilisant un câble RCA double.
3. Connectez finalement le câble USB DC au port d’alimentation du DAC et à un port USB de votre PC,
TV, Media Player, récepteur audio/vidéo ou alimentation USB (non fournie).
Note: si les interfaces TOSLink et RCA sont connectées simultanément, le DAC donnera la priorité à
l’entrée TOSLink.

Introduzione
Vi ringraziamo per aver acquistato il DAC Audio 96K LINDY. Questo convertitore permette di trasformare
un segnale audio digitale (con frequenze di campionamento fino a 24 bit/96KHz) proveniente da un cavo
in rame o da uno in fibra ottica in un segnale audio analogico disponibile sui connettori RCA stereo in
uscita. L’alimentazione del DAC Audio 96K può essere fornita tramite una comune porta USB
permettendone l’installazione sul retro di PC, TV e ricevitori AV evitando di dover utilizzare una presa di
corrente.

Installazione
Importante: Prima di iniziare l’installazione assicuratevi che tutti i dispositivi coinvolti siano spenti.
1. Collegate la sorgente audio digitale utilizzando un cavo TOSLink or Coaxial (non inclusi) a seconda
dell’interfaccia utilizzata
2. Collegate le porte RCA in uscita ad un ingresso audio analogico di un ricevitore/amplificatore AV o
ad un sistema di casse attivo utilizzando un cavo RCA Stereo (non incluso)
3. Da ultimo collegate il cavo USB DC alla porta di alimentazione del DAC e ad una porta USB del
vostro PC, TV, Media Player, Ricevitore AV o ad un alimentatore USB (not incluso).
NOTA: Se vengono collegati sia un cavo TOSLink che uno Coassiale il DAC darà priorità all’ingresso
TosLink disbilitando quello Coassiale.

In 2006 the European Union introduced regulations (WEEE) for the collection and recycling of all waste electrical
and electronic equipment. It is no longer allowable to simply throw away electrical and electronic equipment.
Instead, these products must enter the recycling process.
Each individual EU member state has implemented the WEEE regulations into national law in slightly different
ways. Please follow your national law when you want to dispose of any electrical or electronic products. More
details can be obtained from your national WEEE recycling agency.
