Triple-layer insulation: Polyester film inside, outer layers TufQuin®
(inorganic glass-fibre substrate).
Properties:
• Insulation class F (155 °C) in accordance to IEC 626; for use in
UL-Insulating systems up to class (200 °C)
• UL recognized
• High resistance to tear initiation and good elongation
characteristics
• Excellent bonding performance to impregnating resins, despite
the smooth surface
• Good thermal conductivity
Applications:
Slot insulation, slot closure and interleaving winding in electrical
drives and generators.
Layer insulation in dry type transformer
Availability:
• In rolls approx. 900 mm wide
• In reels minimum width 5 mm
• In sheets
• Stamping parts, precasted slot liners and slot closures
