attempts at changing LGBTQ individuals to
straight and cis-gendered
CAMFT finally includes discrimination against clients in its Ethical Codes but
refuses to make a strong and specific statement against practicing SOCE

CAMFT fights legislation, SB 1172, banning therapists using SOCE on minors,
despite member advocacy

While most other professional organizations moved from opposing SB1172 to
supporting it, CAMFT maintains a neutral stance
