Jodi Golden
Jodi Golden and her husband Len live in East Hills with their children, Evan who
is 10, Cheri who is 3 and 19 year old Stephanie who attends Quinnipiack
University.
Evan was diagnosed with Autism at a very young age; he was only 17 months old.
Since his diagnosis, both Jodi and her husband have worked vigorously to ensure he
lives as full and independent a life as possible.
Jodi is proud to be a strong advocate for both her son and others affected by
Autism. Jodi is co-president of the Roslyn Special Education PTA, and serves on
many committees such as East Hills ~ Kids In The Park, North Shore Autism
Circle, and CMA. She is a tireless fundraiser for causes improving the lives of
people with developmental disabilities.
Jodi has two masters degree’s in education: one in early childhood and the other in
teaching the deaf and hard of hearing.
Jodi has embraced her family’s personal fight with Autism and considers it a
journey. She feels proud of her son and to be a part of a community that is bonded
together with hope.
Jodi was introduced to CMA in 2011 and is just as passionate about CMA’s
mission as she is about her fight for Autism.
Honoree
Sandi Greenfield
Sandi Greenfield lives in Roslyn with her husband Scott and 9 year old twins
Sophie and Luke. She discovered that her son Luke was diagnosed with Autism
when he was 20 months old. Since that day she has dedicated her life to educating
others about Autism.
2013/2014 marks Sandi’s fifth year serving as President of the Roslyn Special
Education Parent Teacher Association. Both of her children attend the East Hills
Elementary School and her son Luke has been thriving in the ABA program. She
is a board member of the North Shore Autism Circle and is very active in
fundraising for various organizations related to fighting autism.
Sandi formally was an executive recruiter in New York City working with some of
the largest fortune 500 companies helping them fill key executive positions to
further their global growth.
Sandi was introduced to CMA in 2011 and remains a very active and passionate
member of the CMA family. She has been instrumental in introducing the Roslyn
Special Education PTA to the resources that CMA has to offer family members of
a loved one with a special need.

Amy Greenberg
Amy Greenberg is the President and co-founder of North Shore Autism Circle.
Founded in 2005, NSAC’s mission is to fund recreational, socialization and life
skills programs for children and adults on Long Island with Autism Spectrum
disorders.
Amy has served as a Marketing Director and Financial Advisor on Wall Street
since 1990. She is currently Vice President of Investments at Henley and Company,
specializing in small company stocks.
An active member of the Roslyn Parent Faculty Association (PFA), Amy has
served as President of the PFA at Harbor Hill Elementary School and Roslyn
Middle School. She has also served as Vice President of the Special Education
PTA.
Amy resides in Flower Hill with her husband Evan, son Drew age 13 and daughter
Hannah age 15 who has Autism and attends Roslyn High School.
A supporter of CMA since 2012, Amy has embraced CMA’s mission of providing
vocational services to men and women with developmental disabilities and has been
a tremendous resource and valued member of the CMA family.

Because of the many pressures and obligations of daily living, it is often times easy to
forget about the people who make your life a little bit richer and rewarding with each
passing day.
It’s not until I take the time to pause and reflect…do I realize and remember that my
life is centered primarily by one person—
My Sandi…
Sandi… my beautiful wife, forever partner, mother of our two wonderful children,
constant cheerleader… among so many other qualities.
She is the ‘go to’ person who is in constant motion— Creating and planning with
friends and colleagues; making schedules; carpooling; attending programs and events
in her professional capacity at school and various organizations,…which she
approaches with energy and enthusiasm and with a real sense of joy when desired
goals come together.
When I usually drag myself, extremely tired, into home at night, she still makes time
to ask about everything that happened in my day—
no matter what my mood or her condition at the time.
Oh yeah, when it comes to joining me at my business affairs, even after her long day,
she is always ‘at the ready.’

What can we say about our beautiful daughter-in-law Sandi
Greenfield that her family, friends, her children’s teachers,
organizational colleagues and anyone who knows her… aren’t
totally aware of already.
She is a wonderful and supportive wife, loving mother, helpmate to
her friends and professional associates—and all around terrific
woman.
When she suspected something was not quite right with her 18
month old son, did she ignore it? NO WAY! She immediately
sought help and received a diagnosis of Autism. Did she grieve and
feel sorry for herself? NO WAY! She went to work finding the best
therapies available and enlisting all the help her son Luke needed.
Further, she became an activist not only to help her son, but to any
other family whose children might be afflicted with this
devastating condition.
Sandi is an amazing woman in every respect…and all who know her
love her.
