ACTS is an acronym for Adoration, Community, Theology and Service. The goals of an ACTS retreat are to
strengthen our faith, live our faith, renew ourselves spiritually and build strong lasting friendships. The ACTS
weekend retreat is presented by lay Catholic teens with the support of a Spiritual Director and lay adults.
Registration for the Spring Break 2014 retreat will begin January 19, 2014 and end on February 2,
2014. In order to eliminate the problems associated with people waiting in line for the registration process and to
allow everyone a fair opportunity to attend a Teen ACTS Retreat, retreatants will be randomly selected from those
who have registered by February 2. Space is limited to 28 retreatants (14 boys and 14 girls). Retreatants will be
contacted soon after the selection process. If you are put on the waiting list, you will be contacted as soon as possible
if a space becomes available. Retreatants will receive a letter a few weeks prior to the retreat with details regarding
the retreat weekend.
The retreat will begin on Thursday evening, March 13th, with check-in at 6:00 pm at St. Anne’s Parish Hall.
We will return to St. Anne’s on Sunday March 16th for the 11:30 am Mass with a reception following the Mass in the
Parish Hall. Transportation to and from the retreat center will be provided. The full cost of the retreat is $145.00.
Your registration form must be submitted to the address below no later than February 2, 2014. The $145.00 fee will
be due at send-off on Thursday, March 13th.
PLEASE NOTE: Financial difficulties should not prevent anyone from attending the retreat. If you have
financial concerns, confidential arrangements can be made by contacting one of the people listed below.
