ReWa Partners with the Children’s Museum of the Upstate for   Greenzilla Earth Day Celebration

(April 21, 2010)—Renewable Water Resources (ReWa) was one of the Children’s Museum of the Upstate’s partners at their Greenzilla Earth Day celebration. The Children’s Museum partnered with area organizations to create activities and demonstrations to educate children about opportunities to help make positive differences in the local environment. Freshwater Freddie, ReWa’s mascot for its public education campaign, was at the event to teach our youngest members of the community about the proper disposal of fats, oils and grease. Other partnering organizations at the event included Addison Homes, Carolina Farm Stewardship Association, Greater Greenville Sanitation Commission, Greenville County Soil and Water Conservation District, Greenville Organic Foods Organization, Greenville Zoo, High Cotton, Michelin YES! Initiative, Natural Awakenings Magazine, Palmetto Prep, TreesGreenville and Upstate Forever.
