1 Sign In
The login URL for NAF Employee Benefits Online (ESS) is - https://client.sbcsystems.com/ARMYess/
The initial page you open will be the Sign In page. Enter your user ID and password and select
“Sign In” or enter. The ESS initial User ID will be the employee SSN (no dashes). A SSN of 123-456789 should be entered as 123456789.
The ESS initial Password will be the employee birth date formatted as mmddyyyy (no dashes or
hyphens). A birth date of January 1, 1970 should be entered as 01011970.
You will be required to change both your User ID and Password upon first log in using 10
characters with at least 1 alpha and 1 numeric.
1.1 Forgot your Password
Selecting the “Forgot your password” link will display a screen to enter your username and birth
date. Matching the selected criteria will search for your email address stored in the system and
email a password with instructions.

You will receive an e-mail with instructions and a link to return to the site.
1.2 Home
Once you’ve signed in, you are taken to the NAF Employee Benefits Online “Home” screen,
which gives you a summary of all personal data and benefits.

Change Password
Under the Welcome you will see a link to Change Password. Selecting the link will display the
screen below.
You will receive a message for a successful password change.

Update Preferred Email Address
A preferred email must be entered in the event you would like to receive a new password at a
later date without contacting your employee benefits branch.

You can select the “go to benefits” in the Benefits column.

Each different section within Your Benefits is accessible by simply clicking on the title bar of it as
shown below. Clicking on the Health bar opens up the Health Benefits screen.

You can select “go to retirement” in the Retirement column.

On the Retirement screen there is a button called Estimate Benefits which will bring you to the
following screen:
Both the Cancel and Show Estimate buttons only work when you click the words and not the rest
of the button.
After entering values into the fields shown above, click on the Show Estimate button and you will
be shown this screen:

There are three tabs under the Retirement graph, and clicking on each one brings you to the
information within that section.
The three tabs are:
1. Monthly Benefit
2. Lump Sum (display for Army will always be Not Applicable)
3. Final Salary
The Monthly Benefit tab is shown below.

Click on the Lump Sum tab and you will see the following screen:

You can select the “go to personal info” in the Personal Info column. That will bring you to the
following screen:
Clicking on the Title bar for Test Baby (Child) will open the window to display any dependents

Selecting the “Contact the Employee Benefit Branch” will allow for an e-mail with questions to
go to:

Select the “Contact Your Personnel Office” will allow for an e-mail with questions to go to the
servicing HROChief that links to the participant’s installation.

Select the link Benefit Summary to view all benefits
