Min/Max Routine
The Min-Max Routine detects the position of both the far end and motor end sensors, determining the range
of the TigerStop. Once completed, the minimum and maximum parameters in the Factory settings are
saved.
-NoteThis should be the only method used when changing the maximum parameters or
decreasing the minimum parameters.
There are two methods used to run the min/max routine. The first one is preferred.
Preferred method of running the min/max routine
Use alternative method for any machines with versions prior to 3.0.
1. At the ready screen, press [7]+[4]. The screen should display "Clear the Deck, Press Start to Go"
2. Press [START]
3. The carriage should move to both ends of the beam , first moving to the idle end and finishing at the
motor end of the machine.
4. The minimum/maximum parameters are now changed and saved in the Factory Settings.
Alternative method of running the min/max routine

Ensure the machine is at the ready screen.
Access the factory settings
Press [-] until the Min /Max parameter is displayed. The value should be 0.
Press [1], [=] to change the value. The screen should display "Clear the Deck, Press Start to Go"
The carriage should move to both ends of the beam, first moving to the idle end and finishing at the
motor end of the machine.
6. The minimum/maximum parameters are now changed and saved in the Factory Settings.
7. Press [PROGRAM LIST] to exit the Motion Menu.
Calibration
Calibration “tells” the TigerStop its distance from the zero point. The TigerStop should be calibrated on a
daily basis or at the start of each shift. It should also be calibrated whenever a saw blade is changed. To
calibrate the machine, follow the instructions below:
1) Enter a length on the keypad. For example, 12". Press [START]
2) Move in to a position closer to the blade. For example, 10". Press [START]
3) Cut a piece of material at this length and carefully measure it.
4) Press [PROGRAM LIST]+[SPACE CALIB]+[2] to access the calibration screen

Turn TigerStop on and run the home routine
Press the D button for Show
Press the A button for Menu
Enter the password (serial number) followed by =
Press the A button for Setup
Press the right arrow button until you get to the “FindLim” setting
• The FindLim routine will make the TigerStop move all the way to its minimum limit sensor.
Make sure the TigerStop will not hit anything in its travel.
7) Press Start to run the routine
• The TigerStop will move all the way to its minimum limit. Once its successful, it will take
you back to the FindLim screen. Press Stop to exit.

Send TigerStop to a short distance and make a cut
Measure that cut as accurately as you can
Press D for show
Press A for Menu
Enter your password (serial number) and press =
Press A for Setup
Enter the length of your cut followed by the D button for Done
