WELCOME!



We extend a warm welcome to all who have come to
worship and fellowship with us this morning. If you are
a first time visitor with us, please take time to fill out a
“Welcome Card” located in the pew rack and place it in
the offering plate.
Parents of small children (under age 3) may take them
to our Nursery, where a caring staff will supervise them.
We also have a Pre-School Program (ages 3-5) that runs
during our Worship Service in the Church Time PreSchool Room. One of our ushers would be happy to
help you locate either one of these facilities.
Elementary School children are invited to take part in
our KidZone program which starts after the first part of
our Worship Service downstairs in the Vestry.

Convention Prayer Link
There are 21 Associations in our Convention of Atlantic
Baptist Churches. Please pray for the Moderators and
executive members who give leadership to the important
work of our Associations.
Our Prayer Initiative
We are invited to join together in prayer for one another.
As we move through our fellowship alphabetically, look for
your name to appear. If it doesn't, please let Peter know,
for we wish to be in prayer for YOU. This week, please be
in prayer for: William, Velma, Dane & Kathleen Whitlock,
Ada Wiggins, Ali Wilcox, and Tom & Ann Williams.
Birthday Greetings
Best wishes are extended to Barb Bishop who is
celebrating her 83rd birthday on April 2nd.
Bereavement
As a caring community of faith and love we extend our
sincere Christian sympathy to Rob & Jena (Mitchell) Antle
on the sudden passing of their son, Clark Strachan, on
March 19th, 2011. We also grieve with Clark’s maternal
grandparents, Lloyd & Lynda Mitchell, and his aunt &
uncle, Jane & Claude Thibault.
We also express our sympathies at this time to Ken &
Nancy Rust on the death of their son, Kenny, and to
Herbie & Renata Desmond, on the death of Herbie’s
mother, Hilda, this past week.
Birth Announcement
Congratulations to Ken & Amy Cross of Quispamsis on
the birth of their daughter, Elize Faith, Tuesday, March
22nd. Proud grandparents are David & Cynthia Cross.

CHSB Hilltop FM 99.3 Spotlight—―Homeward‖
“Homeward,” hosted by Dr. Jim Burns, a veteran youth
minister, is designed to offer sound Christian advice for
parents as they seek to bring their children up in the faith
in an increasingly complex and secular world. Broadcast
weekdays from 6:30-7:00 pm.
Music Concert
Make plans to attend our “Sounds of Spring” Music
Concert to be held here at Bedford Baptist on Saturday,
April 2nd from 7:00-8:30 pm. A variety of musical acts will
perform and a reception time will follow. A free will offering
will be taken during the evening as well that will support
the ongoing ministries of our church.
Greeters List
The 2011 Greeter List for those who don’t have e-mail has
been put in your mail slot by the nursery.
April Calendar
Copies of the April Church Calendar are now available in
the foyer.
Volunteers for St. George's Soup Kitchen
We are currently looking for volunteers to help at St.
George's Soup Kitchen for April 23rd. If you are available
and interested in helping out on that day, please contact
Bonnie Matthews at 864-4805.
LAFF – New Video Series
LAFF, meeting Thursdays at 9:30 am, has begun a new
video series by Bruce Wilkinson (“The Prayer of Jabez”)
called “Secrets of the Vine,” which examines John 15:1-17
and how Christ followers can live the abundant life.
There’s always room for more as they begin to explore this
thought provoking topic.
