Request for Direct Oracle Access to nVision NED Tables
The CIT/EIMB nVision team is providing a data broker service for the NIH Enterprise
Directory (NED). Customers may obtain NED data from the following nVision public
tables:





NED_PERSON
NED_BUILDINGS
NED_ORGUNIT
NED_LABELED_URI
NED_ROLES
Table Details: The tables listed above reside on an nVision Oracle server. For
information about the data contained in the tables, visit the NED information website at
http://nedinfo.nih.gov/accessing_NED.htm or contact the NED team at [email protected].
The nVision NED tables are refreshed daily, Monday-Friday at 9 PM. The tables contain
non-sensitive data. To request access to sensitive NED data in nVision, contact the
nVision Support Group at [email protected] or 301-435-6555.
Access Requirements/Process: Customers already accessing nVision Oracle tables may
be able to access the NED tables using an existing nVision account. Please check with
the nVision Support Group at ([email protected]) or 301-435-6555 to determine if
this is possible.
New nVision customers must complete the questionnaire on page two of this document
and return by fax (301-480-2303) or email ([email protected]). Following approval,
the nVision Support Group will contact you and provide an Oracle user name, password,
and the nVision database connection information.
