ST. ELIZABETH HOSPITAL: no one
MEMORIAL HOSPITAL: No one
Your Prayers are requested for the soul of:
Richard Newton
Who recently died.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual
light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of
the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest
in peace. Amen
Our God is good, all the time, all time our
God is good.
Come to the feast
On the mountain, the Lord of hosts, will provide for
all people, a feast of rich food and choice
wines” (Isaiah 25:-6) . That’s what Isaiah tell us today. God is putting together a huge party for all
people’s”, to wipe away the tears from every face
(Isaiah 25:8). And what does Jesus tell us? The
reign of God, he says, may be likened to a king who
gave a wedding feast for his son. (Mt. 22:2) when
the guests didn’t come, the king had his servants go
out” into the main roads and invite to the feast
whomever you find.” My dear friends, we are called
to deliver that invitation. One of the themes woven
into today’s liturgy is that of divine generosity.
Asleep to reality, people often think they have
earned” what they have. In our better moments,
though, we know that all our gifts-even the spiritual
gifts-come through God’s generosity. Our vocation
is to invite people, to remind them the tickets aren’t
for sale. We can only show up and say thank you.
God bless you all

Respect Life Corner
Each of Us is a Masterpiece of God’s Creation“Even the weakest and most vulnerable, the sick, the
old, the unborn and the poor, are masterpieces of
God’s creation, made in his own image, destined to
live forever, and deserving of the utmost reverence
and respect.” (Pope Francis’ Day for Life Greeting)
Learn, Act, connect, Pray: Imagine yourself pausing in front of a design of great beauty. Your soul
quiets and is filled with wonder and awe. If are,
created by humans, can evoke such a response within us, how much is the same wonder, reverence and
respect due to each person we encounter, who was
handcrafted by the very God who spoke the world
into being? Pray for the ability to see each person
as God’s work of art.
