interested in joining this ministry, please contact either
Father Joe or Jim Carroll, our Pastoral Council Chair.
COMMUNICATION CENSUS SURVEY
Last spring we embarked on an effort we called a
"Communication Census." Our goal is to create a more
solid line of communication between the parishioners and
the staff & leadership of the parish. In conjunction with
that effort, we have also launched an on-line survey tool.
The first survey is available now and will remain active
throughout the month of November. It should take less
than 5 minutes to complete and can be launched by going
to our website (www.ourladyoflourdesutica.org) and
clicking on the 'Launch Survey Here' link in the
'Keeping in Touch' section found on the right hand
side of the home page. Depending on the feedback we
receive, we'd like to launch similar surveys, on various
topics, throughout the year. Quick, simple surveys of
this nature are a great tool for helping us to easily gather
and quantify your feedback on virtually any topic.
Thank you for your anticipated participation.
LEND A HELPING HAND
Support the Thea Bowman Food Pantry
once again!!! Lend a helping hand…
please bring non-perishable food items
to church next weekend.
DID YOU KNOW…
Pope Francis word’s on minors crossing US border:
“Such a humanitarian emergency demands as a
first urgent measure that these minors be protected
and duly taken in.” The Pope noted that when
children travel alone, “They cross the border under
extreme conditions, in pursuit of a hope that in
most cases turns out to be vain.” To the
international community he asserts: “Adopt new
immigration measures that are legal and safe.”
