Scope
Singapore and Belgium have been global leaders in
environmental technology for fifty years, we have used our
expertise to improve our own society, and also carried our
knowledge across our borders.
The world is experiencing a new era of urbanization and
industrialization, and many emerging economies are suffering
from a rapidly deteriorating environment, we believe that our
knowledge, products and concepts could be of even greater
benefit outside our borders.
Our ambition is to strengthen our co-operation with other
global leaders in the field of environmental
technology. Within Singapore, Belgium, and beyond.
Singapore, similar to Belgium, has limited natural resources, a
densely populated area, and an increasing level of
urbanization. Within these boundaries, it is committed to
providing a quality living environment and continues to
address Singapore's environmental sustainability challenges.
Focus areas are sustainable energy, water supply, and waste
management.
