Confession of Faith
Question 32: But why are you called a Christian?
Because by faith I am a member of Christ, and thus a partaker of His anointing,
in order that I also may confess His Name, may present myself a living sacrifice
of thankfulness to Him, and that with a free conscience I may fight against sin
and the devil in this life, and hereafter in eternity reign with Him over all creatures.

I will give thanks to the Lord.
I will give praise to the God of creation.
I will give praise, sing unto the Rock of salvation.
REFRAIN: Thank You, Lord! Yours is the power and glory.
Thank You, Lord! Yours is the honor and praise!
This is my Father’s world. The birds their carols raise.
The morning light, the lily white declare their Maker’s praise.
This is my Father’s world. He shines in all that’s fair.
In the rustling grass, I hear Him pass. He speaks to me everywhere.
I will give thanks to the Lord.
I will give praise to the Hope of the nations.
I will give thanks to the Lord; give thanks with a song of glad adoration.

CARE LIST
ANNOUNCEMENTS
TODAY’S FLOWERS are dedicated by David and Suzanne Collipp in celebration of
Leah Collipp’s 6th birthday.
Richard Findley: ongoing medical treatments
LORD’S SUPPER: Today we have the high privilege of celebrating the Lord’s Supper, a
proclamation of the Lord’s death until he comes. In the Lord’s Supper, we are nourished
in our hearts by faith, just as surely as our bodies are nourished and cheered by bread and
wine. The Lord’s Supper is a commemoration of the death of Christ, a present real partaking of its benefits, and draws our eyes towards the future when we eat it anew with him in
the kingdom of God. The table is open to all who profess sincere faith in Christ and are
baptized and communing members in good and regular attendance and standing of Christproclaiming, Bible-believing Christian churches. All who have not professed Christ and
been admitted to the Lord’s table, who are under discipline by the church, who are persisting in un-repenting of sin, or who persist at odds with other brethren, are instructed to
abstain from participating.
Leo Tickner: ongoing medical treatments; updates: caringbridge.org/visit/leotickner
