SETON Hungary Ltd. is an American automotive leather company, which hold a leading position in the global automotive leather interior. Our customers are Mercedes, BMW, Porsche,
Volkswagen etc. To grow our business we plan to make significant investments in production
facilities. For our Hungarian site in Jánosháza we are seeking a
DEVELOPMENT
ENGINEERING MANAGER
Responsibilities:
• Success designing and launching new products and technologies into the market
which have contributed to the overall growth
• Work together with customers and partners, to define, synthesize and deliver
products that meet their needs
• Work with other departments to define development plans, resources, schedules,
milestones and budgets and to make critical design choices and contingency plans
• Ensure the plant layout update to guarantee the proper use
• Manage compliance to quality assurance processes and industry recognized best
practices for successful launch
• Interface with customers and other functional teams within Seton, such
as Production Engineering
• Manage a talented and dedicated team of engineers and technicians
• Solve complex problems
Qualifications, skills:
• Masters in Mechanical Engineering
• 5 years of experience in a product development environment with at least
2 years experience in people management and engineering management
• Experience in taking development programs from concepts to manufacturing
• Demonstrated track record of delivering innovative solutions to challenging problems
• Excellent negotiation and strong analytical skills
• Experienced with Automotive Industry standards
• Good English knowledge
