Mary Washington Hospice Volunteer department currently has a need for
administrative or office volunteers. Some of the needs include data entry into
the computer systems, filing documents, calling families, calling potential
and current volunteers for various reasons, assisting with mailing or other
administrative projects. If you are interested or know someone interested
please contact Kathy Wall at 540-741-3595 or Carolyn Farmer at 804-5144511.
If you are a member of one (or more) of the below committees, your committee
needs to meet by February 13th and choose a Committee Chairman for this year.
Please report the name of the selected individual to the church office or Nominating
Chairman, Anna Burke by February 13th. The committees needing to select a
chairman are: AV, Buildings, Church Recreation, Grounds, Hermon Executive,
Personnel or Van/Bus Transportation. Thank you!
Lake Land'Or would like to extend our invitation to your congregations to set up
tables at the Polar Bear Plunge. The Plunge will be held Saturday February, 7 at
Lake Land'Or Beach, Pavilion and Clubhouse. If your congregation is interested in
selling, baked goods or other items, please email me to reserve table(s). We have
electric hook ups in the Pavilion that can be used if you need them. All sales, by your
congregation, go back to your church so we wanted to provide you an opportunity to
raise some extra funds. Rehoboth UMC will be selling Chili and did well with that
last year. If you would kindly get back to me, I can have tables ready for your group.
Please feel free to email me for any further information or to reserve space.

Coat Drive for Glory Outreach – Bring your nice, used coats to church any Sunday
during January. The G.A.’s will be making cookies to deliver with the coats on the
first Tuesday in February. Coats can be left in the Parlor (room off of the sanctuary
nearest the front) for pickup. This will be part of the G.A.’s Children’s Ministry
Project for February. God Bless You All, Girls in Action
