NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR CONSTRUCTION
CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
FOR THE REVIEW OF THE NATIONAL COUNCIL FOR CONSTRUCTION
ACT NO. 13 OF 2003
National Council for Construction (NCC) has commenced the process of reviewing
the National Council for Construction Act No. 13 of 2003 in order to ensure it
responds to emerging issues and existing gaps. We are therefore seeking written
submissions for consideration for review from the general public, interested and
affected parties. The aim of the National Council for Construction Act No. 13 of 2003
is to provide for the:
 Promotion and development of the construction industry in Zambia;
 Registration of contractors;
 Affiliation to the Council of professional bodies or organisations whose
members are engaged in activities related to the construction industry;
 Regulation of the construction industry; to provide for the establishment of the
Construction School;
 Training of persons engaged in construction or in activities related to
construction; and to provide for matters connected with or incidental to the
fore-going.
Interested and affected parties may send their written submissions to the undersigned
by 31st January 2015. Kindly note that copies of the National Council for Construction
Act can be viewed on our website: www.ncc.org.zm.
