Course Description
The Roadway Lighting Technician Level 1 Certification course for qualified personnel is designed to aid individuals in
the understanding fundamental aspects of Roadway Lighting. Additionally, the review material will address electrical
safety and codes, basic electricity and laws, and basic construction and maintenance.

IMSA Work Zone Safety
Nova Scotia Department of Transportation and Prince Edward Island Department of Transportation
Temporary Workplace Signer and Traffic Control Accreditations are approved equivalents to IMSA Work Zone Safety.
Proof of Work Zone Certifications must be brought to the Course.
