B3(L) UKTI Trade and Investment Manager
Main purpose of job:
Raise awareness in the UK of trade and investment opportunities in the State of Rio Grande do Sul and help UK
companies to successfully enter the market and win business.
The job-holder will be responsible for:
 Raise awareness in the UK of trade and investment opportunities in the State of Rio Grande do Sul
through a variety of channels.

Promote UK products and services in the State of Rio Grande do Sul.

Assist UK companies in their efforts to enter the market.

Meet targets for the number of companies assisted and also business won by companies that the team in
Porto Alegre has supported

Contribute to wider UKTI and British Consulate objectives.

Work in an integrated manner with the Brazil UKTI network and sector teams in particular in the following
sectors: Agri-business, Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, Healthcare and ICT.

Ensure the smooth running of the small office in Porto Alegre.

Contribute to wider Brazil and UKTI corporate issues.
Required Experience and Skills:
Demonstrable business experience in a one or two of the sectors listed above, with knowledge of agri-business
sector an advantage. An excellent command of written and spoken English and Portuguese.
Desirable: Previous international trade experience

Terms and Conditions:
The British Consulate in Porto Alegre aims to offer an attractive working environment and remuneration
package for this role: R $7.015,00 plus benefits.
