Terms and Conditions
1. Applicants should be below the age of 25 before the date of application.
2. Special Scholarships for Pastor's children and Methodist church members are applicable only to Malaysians.
3. Scholarships are applicable for tuition fees (A-Levels up to a maximum of 4 subjects) only.
4. Applicants must have submitted their Application for Admission forms and paid the application fee and admission deposit before they can be considered for
this scholarships.
5. Applicants of the SPM Bible Knowledge Quiz Scholarship must have scored a distinction in Bible Knowledge in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) Examination
and have satisfied the minimum entry requirements of the course of study.
6. Applicants may apply for more than one MCKL scholarships/ financial aid at any one time but will have to choose only one if more than one award is offered.
7. Successful applicants are required to pay the first semester fees in full upon acceptance of the award before the commencement of the semester.
8. The award will be disbursed on a semester by semester basis. The final disbursement will be distributed upon the successful completion of the programme.
9. Recipients must not be on any scholarship, financial aid or sponsorship from any registered organization at the time of application. Should they accept any
scholarship, financial aid or sponsorship for their studies in MCKL from any registered organization, they are obliged to inform the Registrar in writing of the
source and amount of the award within two (2) weeks of the award date. The College reserves the right to adjust the quantum of the MCKL scholarship
received.
10.To maintain the award, the recipient is required to achieve a minimum GPA/ score in the internal exams as shown in the table below.

11. All scholarship recipients are expected to achieve at least 80% attendance at the Pre-University Society meetings and participate actively in the activities
organized by the College.
12. Recipients of the Pastor's children, Methodist Church member and SPM Bible Knowledge Quiz scholarships are expected to achieve at least 80% in
attendance at meetings and activities organized by the Christian Fellowship.
13. In the event that the recipient withdraws from the programme, is suspended or expelled by the College, at any point of time before the completing of the
programme, this award shall automatically be revoked.
14. Any refund of fees is subject to the Terms and Conditions as stated in the Student Handbook.
15. The College reserves the right to involve recipients in interviews, advertisements, photography or other publicity related activities up to a maximum of 10 hours
per semester for the purpose of promoting MCKL as a leading education institution.
16. This award is given at the sole discretion of the College. Applicants are not guaranteed approval of the scholarships upon fulfilling the conditions set.
17. This award is only valid for the duration of the programme enrolled and does not cover the extension of the programme beyond its minimum duration.
18. This award is not transferable or redeemable for cash and does not include external examination fees (if applicable) or text books.
19. Methodist College Kuala Lumpur reserves the right to amend any of the terms and conditions as well as this award at any point in time and when it is deemed
necessary.
