MCI NEWS & CONCERNS

a) Hi, Welcome to MCI
We belong to the family of Jesus Christ and seek to honor
and glorify God through Worship, Word, Welcome,
Witness and Wonder.
We pray that you will be inspired by the worship of the
Almighty God and will experience a deeper touch of His
love! If you are our GUEST, please feel free to speak with our iWelcome hosts,
Mr Clive Yam or Ms Anna Chan or Ms Jenny Loke to learn more about our
ministry such as Sunday School, Cell Group Ministry, Prayer etc...
b) The Season of Lent began with Ash Wednesday on 18th February 2015 for
forty days (excluding Sundays) and ends on 4th April 2015. During the 40-day
period of fasting, prayer and repentance in preparation for Easter, Christians
strive to imitate Christ and reflect on his life, death and resurrection.
c) Dr Christopher Cheah is the preacher for our 11.00 am Traditional Service
today. Pray for the Lord’s anointing.

Prayer Concerns. Let’s pray that…
a) the hearts and spirits of all worshippers will truly honour the Lord God
Almighty. May we develop a heart of worship.
b) the people of God will give priority to the reading, reflection and application
of the Word of God in their lives.
c) our Witness to the community and world will draw people to a loving
relationship with Christ, the Head and Founder of the Church.
d) the Wonder of God’s Grace will be experienced in a greater measure,
particularly for those who are ill and distressed.
e) the spirit of Welcome shall be the hallmark of Christ’ Church. Let everyone
feel accepted and honored in His Presence.
f) All of God’s people shall be holy as He is holy!

Methodist Schools’ Foundation is organizing the Methodist Walk 2015 through
which the students raise funds for their respective school’s
needs. “Step Out in Service” to walk and after the walk, enjoy a
“Picnic on the Field” with the children amidst live
entertainment provided by church members, schools and
school alumnus.

'dressing up' our "unusual artistic Mr Edwin Khoo” can help 'shape it

Marriage Preparations Course begins 2nd March for 6 Sessions | Pastor’s
Office | 8.00 pm – 9.30 pm.|
12. Car Park lots are limited in our church premises. We have painted tandem lots
in the Car Park area. However, we would appreciate it if you do not use these lots
until further notice. Meanwhile, if our car park is fully occupied, please use the
nearby HDB Car Park. Thank you for your cooperation.
13. We express our condolences to the family of Mr Michael Lim on the passing
away of his mother on 20th Feb 2015. May the peace and comfort of Christ our
Lord be with them.
