APPOINTMENT REQUEST
The American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) is hosting its annual Consulting Congress
Days on April 21st and 22nd, 2015. This conference brings together hundreds of engineering firm
executives from around the country to meet with their legislators and discuss issues important to the
engineering industry.
On behalf of engineering constituents in your state, I would like to request a meeting with you on
Tuesday, April 21st or Wednesday, April 22nd, 2015 between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. to meet with
several engineering firm executives to discuss our industry’s top issues, including the
reauthorization of MAP-21 and funding our state’s transportation needs, a comprehensive strategy to
meeting the nation’s energy needs, as well as proposed changes to the tax code which affect the
engineering industry.
Engineering firms in our state design solutions that improve the world we live in, enabling millions of
Americans to drink clean water, work and play in a safe environment, and fly, drive or take rail to their
favorite destination. On behalf of ACEC, we look forward to working with you in 2015 with these
public policy goals in mind.
Thank you for your consideration of my request. Also, please save the date for our Engineering
Excellence Awards Dinner on Tuesday, April 21st, 2015 at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in
Washington, D.C.
Sincerely,
