is the proud recipient of a Gold award in the
ACEC/MA Chapter Engineering Excellence Awards
for their work on the 300,000 sf Education First (EF)
North American Headquarters project in NorthPoint
Park along the Charles River in Cambridge,
MA. AKF/In Posse provided MEP/FP, Code, Fire
Modeling, and Energy Modeling services. The
award was presented at THE ACEC/MA Awards
Gala, which was held on March 18, 2015 at the
Royal Sonesta Hotel in Cambridge, MA.
A unique 10-story-high steel and glass “waterfall”
cascades down the façade to the building entrance
and ground floor restaurant. The connection of
this stunning centerpiece to the atrium beyond
emphasizes the open workspaces and the
entire collaborative nature of Education First, an
international education company.
